It now had been four months since Dave had kidnapped me from my home in heaven and dragged me to Earth to hide from any of the angels. I was rarely allowed to leave so I usually just moped around the apartment. I was too scared to leave since Dave had kept injecting me with the mysterious serum that stopped my wings from returning. But he had been kind to since I've been stuck with him. He was very different from what I was told about demons. He was quite normal, besides the love for apple juice, which was excessive.

I was currently sitting on the couch, reading a book.

"I'm going out, I'll be back soon." Dave says as he walks towards the door.

"Okay." I reply, not looking from my book.

Dave walks out and I shut the book. Dave goes out like this once every two weeks. I've decided that tonight I would follow him. At first I thought nothing of it. That is until I asked if I could come with him and he snapped at me.

I exit the apartment and begin to sneak behind Dave. It almost felt like when I was younger and I used to sneak around the castle, away from my father and the guards in order to play outside. But while I was following him I felt scared.

Eventually he stops in an alleyway and a moment later an albino man walks up to him. I slink back a bit further behind the wall just in case.

"So, everything is set," the stranger speaks up, "we'll pick her up in four days."

"Alright then." Dave nods.

"I'm surprised that she stayed for so long." The other person, who I assumed was a demon, speaks up.

"Yeah, she didn't even try to escape, she's been a good little princess." He smirks.

My eyes widen and I cover my mouth with one my hands, just so I didn't make any sounds. As silently as I could, I stand up and slink back to the apartment. As soon as I get back I lie down on the couch and slow down my breathing.

A while later I hear Dave return. He walks towards me and picks me up. I felt disgusted when he touched me, knowing that he was just going to get rid of me to some other demon. And to think I was stupid enough to begin trusting him!

He gently puts me down on the bed and covers me with the blanket. He walks around and lies down on the other side of the bed. I try to fall asleep, but I find myself unable to do so. Too many thoughts were currently running through my mind at the moment. So I guess I'll just have to wait.

I had been lying in bed for several hours, and I think I could get up now. I slowly slip out from under the blankets and tiptoe out of the room and into the lounge. I see a jacket lying on the couch and slip it on. It was Dave's, but it would have to do.

'Alright, time to get out of here finally.'

You slip out of the apartment without a sound.
