Chapter 3
I had fallen asleep once again not long after Dave the demon had left. I had tried to stand up but I just collapsed again, blacking out.
I groan as I once again wake up on the uncomfortable couch. I sit up and stretch, I suddenly freeze. Something didn't feel right; I look behind me to see that my wings had disappeared. A scream escapes from my lips. A few seconds later Dave walks in, a kind of annoyed look on his face.
"What did you do to my wings?!" I screech.
"I injected you with a serum that a makes your wings disappear." He explains.
Once he finishes his sentence he tosses me a (f/c) dress. I frown and look up at Dave.
"You might want to change," Dave nods at your nightgown, "that's kind of see through."
I let out a yelp as I use my arms to cover my body. I hear Dave chuckle before walking out. I look down at the dress that I held in my hands. I stand up shakily and slowly make my way to the bathroom. I strip of the blue nightgown and slip the dress on. The dress wasn't too inappropriate; it went down to my knees. I fold my gown as I walk out of the bathroom; I sit the now folded gown on the coffee table. I look around the small two bedroom apartment, when I finally reach the kitchen I see Dave standing at the stove.
"You look like a house wife." I mutter as I take a seat on one of the wooden chairs.
"Well, we have to eat." Dave shrugs.
"Y'know for a demon, you're not all that nasty," I admit, "I thought you'd chuck me in a cage and torture me."
"I'm much nicer than most demons." Dave says as he continues to cook.
He finishes cooking and sits two plates of scrambled eggs on the table.
"Thank you." I awkwardly mumble and dig into the food, I was starving.
The apartment was silent as the both of us ate. Once I finish eating I clean my dishes and put them on the drying rack.
"I have somewhere I have to go," Dave says as he stands up and cleans his dishes, "stay here."
"But it's night." I tell him, raising a brow.
"I know." Dave says and walks off, out the front door.
I wake up on something much more comfortable than the couch I had fallen asleep on. I turn onto my side to see Dave sleeping right beside me. My expression goes blank; I had no idea how to feel about him. He had taken me from my family and home, but he hadn't hurt me at all. I wonder why that is...
"You done in la la land?" the slightly cocky voice of Dave snaps me out of me thoughts.
My eyes focus back on the blond, who as now resting up on his elbow.
"Why did you move me?" I ask.
"You looked quite uncomfortable on the couch," he shrugs, "don't worry I didn't try anything."
I glare at him before climbing out of the bed.
"I'm going to take a shower." I say and walk out.
