I'm dead.
Or at least it feels like I'm dead. Wait. When you're dead, are you in pain? Probably not. Ok, so I'm not dead. I'm just dying.
      The jerk pushed me to my death.
    I closed my eyes, pretending to fall asleep. Why is being dead so hard? "I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm dead" I kept repeating that to myself, like a mantra. Suddenly, I heard a noise. "Ow! You kids are heavy! And Thalia, do me a favor. Shut up." That got me thinking. "Excuse me, but who do you think you are?" I asked. I opened my eyes, to see that we were floating, as if we were in space. It was a little hard to breathe, but I quickly accustomed to the red colored atmosphere.
    Mitch floated towards me. Then he did something really stupid. He rolled his eyes. At me. Was he crazy? He took a deep breath. How he was able to do that, I have no clue. "Listen, darling, you're not dead, and you're giving me a huge headache." Ok. So I wasn't dead.
Right then, a huge force hit me.
Turns out that huge force was Logan.
"Ow! You're a lot heavier than you seem." He drawled. I rolled my eyes. "Speak for yourself. You probably weight a 1000 pounds more than I do." He grimaced. "You don't that. In fact, I think I'm smarter than you. And that's not a good thing." I hadn't known Logan for long, but something told me he wasn't very bright. Still, something made me wonder why he thought that I was stupid. Nobody ever called me stupid. Ugly, yes. Annoying, yes. I'd even heard idiot. But dumb? Never. Never in my life. So I ask him why he thinks he's smarter than I am. "Why?" I ask. He raises his eyebrows. "Why what?" Apparently his brain was slower than he was. Which is bad, considering we're floating in a space place with no gravity and we can't even move ourselves. I roll my eyes.
"Why do you think you're smarter than me?" It was his turn to roll his eyes. "Because you thought we were in Florida. Florida!" I furrow my eyebrows. I raise my voice to speak, but Logan suddenly collapses. Well, technically he just goes limp, but if we were in land, he would of collapsed.
I stare at him. "Logan?" Then beside me, Mitch falls too. They both stare at a black whirlwind in the distance. "Mitch!" I scream. "Logan!"
That is all I'm able to do and say before I too become a victim and succumb to the evil force in which my companions had fallen under. I too am a victim now.
