You turned to fully face your white-haired boyfriend. "I'm tired, but I can't sleep." (Essentially why I have time to write)

Phi sighed and held out the arm he wasn't resting his head on. "Come here."

You moved closer as he wrapped his arm around you and ran his fingers through your h/l brown/orange* hair.

"I feel like this happens every night."

You smiled. "It probably does, knowing me." You coughed slightly.

"Are you okay?" Phi asked, worry flashing in his heterochromatic eyes.

"Yeah, I'm fine. My throat's just a bit dry. Goodnight, Phi."

"Night, Y/n."

He smiled and kissed you. "I promise I'll win for you."

You giggled. "Go for it. I have to go meet my friend."

You headed off, waving. "Bye, Phi!"

"Hey, Y/n!" A magenta-haired girl ran up to you.

"Chris! It's been so long!" You hugged her. "How's the team been doing?"

She smiled. "Great! Kitt and Ange miss you."

"Of course. Does mom know I'm coming?"

Christina shook her head. "I kept it a secret, so don't worry. You can surprise her.

The two of you got on the ship.

"I'm excited, but kinda nervous. It's been years since I left BC Sol."

"She's your mom, N/n. And you visited back when Valt joined."

You scratched your cheek. "That was two years ago, Chris," you reminded.

"Yeah, but still! I'm not so sure Valt remembers you, though."

"Hi!"

You yelled in surprise, while Chris was unfazed.

"You're Kitt's sister, right?" Valt asked.

"Yeah. Do you remember me?"

"Uh... not really?"

You smiled. "I guess you were right, Chris. Y/n Lopez, it's nice to see you again, Valt." You turned back to Chris. "I need to tell you something."
