Sirens, as it turned out, did not eat human flesh. Or at least, they hadn't yet, because they were all still alive.

It takes a few moments for them to recall what had happened fully. Cooper, the sirens, the water, nearly dying so much. It seemed to be a reoccuring theme at this point: fighting tooth and nail just ot survive when none of them asked for this.

Why did it alwasy seem to be them? Why had fate singled them out for some reason and decided that they were the ones to stop the world from ending-- twice? They had nearly nothing in common before. And now their bonds of friendship included the desperate need to survive.

They woke up in a room that looked like it belonged to an apartment building that had long since been abandoned. There were no more personal items in the room than a brand new house. The walls were bare, the floor was empty, the windows were grimey with algea.

And they were floating.

Because they were underwater.

The panic hits only a second later: They were under the water, the pressure felt like a hammer to the head repeatedly until it was a dull noise in the background. They were going to die if they didn't get any oxygen--

Wait. No they were okay. They could breathe just fine, despite not being able to see the surface. The water was warm, and they seemed to have gotten most of their rambucious energy back. They were okay... for now.

It was almost funny. They looked at each other with the clear thought of what do we do now?

Jax looked around wildly searching for his boyfriend, "Felix? Felix!"

"Relax," A new voice said, startling all of them with the precision of her words.

A blue Siren hovered in the door way, her tail made of glowing scales and her eyes a hyptonic purple. "My people are caring for your friend." She said in perfect English, "He will be fine." She pursed her lips, "I do not wish to go to war with normal mutants again."

However as she spoke she twisted a golden spear in one hand. She was decked in a similiar battle breast plate and matching guards on either arm. Something about her was....threatening.

"My name is Caelo," She said, "We have much to discuss and very little time to do so."
