The more Harry thought about it, the more he got angry with that exasperatingly beautiful siren. Who was he to tell Harry what to do? At the age of seventeen, Harry can safely assume that he can make decisions for himself, thank you very much, Draco can go ahead and kiss his arse.
Plus, why should he believe Draco anyways? Isn't it the siren that wanted him gone in the first place? Draco's probably lying, making up stupid stories, and Harry's foolish enough to believe him.
So Harry dived back into the ocean, loving the way it engulfed his entire body. Harry feels different underwater. He always liked to think that the ocean is a portal to somewhere else. Somewhere where humans couldn't breathe, so they won't destroy the place, and only the most beautiful and pure creature could live there.
Someone like Draco?
No. Draco is indeed beautiful, but the siren is nowhere near pure. He lies. People with a pure heart doesn't lie.
Harry swam farther, deeper, the thought of how he could breathe this long never once crossed his mind. He was too busy enjoying himself. Enjoying the ocean. Feeling free, and feeling fit in. As if he was supposed to be here, as if the ocean is where he belonged.
Or as if it was a prophecy. He was destined to be here... To destroy it.
Harry abruptly stopped swimming. The sight of so many dead creatures overwhelming him. Fishes, whales, dolphins, and even sirens and mermaids, all dead, all dead because of what?.. Him?
He looked around, immediately recognizing the place. He was in Hogwarts, but the place looks very different from what he last remembered it to be. Hogwarts is a beautiful place rich with gold and colors. Now, it looks destroyed, and broken beyond repair. Was it really destroyed?
Or was it attacked?
Whenever Harry looks, he sees a dead creature. Dead, dead, dead. Everyone's gone. The supposed beautiful and pure creatures living silently underwater are all gone.
Then Harry saw a broken piece of glass, or a mirror rather. When Harry looked through it, he didn't see himself, what he saw was a monster.
It was glad and victorious, as if it was successful with doing it's job. It had an ugly grin on it's fur covered face. It looks hideous, yet strangely familiar. Then Harry realized, he wasn't staring at a monster, he was staring at himself. He was the monster at the mirror.
Then the reflection changed. Slowly modifying into a whole new creature. It's face turning to look human, with soft pale skin, and small pink lips. It's jet black hair changing into long pale blond. The beast became beauty. Draco was staring at him through the other side.
"I told you to never come back! Now, look what you've done!" Draco was fuming with anger. His face was red, and his hands were curled into fists. Harry had never seen Draco this angry before, after all, they've only met thrice.
"You monster, you killed them all!"
Harry's heart snapped. Draco's words left a crack, and knowing the fact that what the siren was saying was true.
"I hate you!" Another crack.
"You monster..." Another.
"The ocean has no place for you!" Harry's heart shattered into pieces.
Then he woke up with a heavy heart.
His chest was pounding, panting heavily as he does so. There were tears stinging his eyes, and he was gripping the sand beneath him with too much-unintended force. Sand?
Harry realized that he didn't even make it to his house. He slept on Jack's canoe, and he must have fallen over, making him sleep on the sand instead. Then Harry felt the ocean brushing against the tip of his shoes. Upon remembering his dream, Harry was quick to scurry away from it.
Realizing what he had just done, Harry came to the conclusion that, damn, now he's scared of the ocean?
What used to be his dream now turned into his nightmare. How bitterly ironic.
"It was just a dream," Harry told himself, hoping that it would calm him down, despite the fact of knowing to himself that it does nothing.
"But it might happen if you aren't careful," Harry added.
That's it. It's better to tell himself the ugly truth than feeding off beautiful lies.
Harry managed to stand up on his shaky legs. He cursed at himself for being so weak. He hated the fact that something can affect him so greatly, that it made his stance wobble. He managed to get a good distance away from the ocean before he felt something hit his shoulder.
He was quick to turn around, to look at whoever threw that small rock at him... But he saw nothing. Is he having delusions again? With a scowl, Harry decided to ignore it and just head home.

He didn't expect to see Cruscrow and Fonzie gathered together in his small house he calls a home. The place was too little for the two grown men, Harry was mildly scared of the fact that his house might give up.
"Um, guys?" Harry started, "What the hell are you doing here?"
"Harry!" Cruscrow greeted with a smile, he rushed to the said boy and enveloped him into another bone crushing hug. Harry should've expected it at this point, but he can never escape Cruscrow's embrace.
"You've got me worried sick, boy! The crew was to sail off today--,"
"But Crus, here, won't leave without seeing his little boy," Fonzie continued, arms crossed against his chest.
"I've got to make sure, that my boy's okay!" Cruscrow said, much to Fonzie rather than Harry.
"The boy's not even a boy anymore! He grown! Y'can take care of yourself right, Harry?" Fonzie remarked.
"Please don't have one of your parent-y fights in front of me," Harry whispered in between the two pirates loud exchange. The two looked at each other, momentarily sharing eye contact, but then they turned away, both still somewhat mad at the other.
Harry sighed. He had witnessed this kind of quarrel between the two men ever since he was a child. It was comforting to know that some things don't change.
"Fonzie's right, I'm fine Cruscrow, really. I think I can handle my problems on my own, now," Harry reassured. It wasn't entirely true. The last bit was a lie. He couldn't even take care of himself, let alone his problems, and he's got a huge ass problem right now.
Fonzie grinned, cocking a teasing grin as if to say he was right. Cruscrow glared at him.
"Though I'm glad you still worry for me, even though I'm old enough now... Honestly, Fonzie, what's so wrong with worrying over someone you care about?" Harry added.
"Ha!" Cruscrow said, grinning at Fonzie, while the other man only poked his tongue out.
"Though I don't want to be the one to stop you guys from sailing. You don't have to worry much... I'll even write to you from time to time," Harry said.
The two pirates stared at him. Cruscrow can feel water building up in his eyes. He has a soft smile on his face, he looked like a proud parent.
"My boy had grown so mature," Cruscrow said, patting Harry's hair as he does so. "You make me so proud."
Harry smiled at him. "I'm proud of you too, Cruscrow..."
With that single statement, the leader of the pirates burst into tears. Pirates are known to be loud obnoxious humans, them crying doesn't make any difference.
"Erm," Harry awkwardly said, as he stiffly patted Cruscrow's back, hoping that it feels somewhat reassuring.
"Give him time," Fonzie said, "I'll take care of him."
Fonzie has Cruscrow's arm wrapped around his shoulder. Harry watched, as the two head out of his house. Fonzie waved his hand, while Cruscrow did too, but more dramatically. The door closed, and Harry is once again left on his own. Seeing that two had gone, Harry sighed. There's nothing else left for him to do, maybe he'll just take a nap, perhaps that would help? And so that's what he exactly did, or at least tried...
Meanwhile, just outside Harry's front door.
"He called us p-parents," Cruscrow recalled, voice cracking. The memory once again sent him crying. Fonzie only rolled his eyes.
"For two people to be parents, one has to be the mommy," Fonzie said, lifting an eyebrow as he stared down at Cruscrow.
Cruscrow suddenly stopped crying, realizing what his best friend just said.
"You wicked shat," Cruscrow grumbled, mildly hitting the back of the other pirate's head. Fonzie barked out a laugh, and Cruscrow couldn't help but laugh along.

The crew left that evening. Harry made sure to give everyone a warm goodbye, and even watched the Cavalrin sail into the ocean. He never left his spot, not even until the ship was too far for him to see.
The sun had gone down, and the stars went up again. Everything that happened last night replaying in the back of his mind. Harry hasn't got an ounce sleep. How could he? Sleeping brings him nightmares. Every time he falls deep in sleep, he would always wake up with a jolt. So Harry just stopped trying. Tired at the fact of feeling so restless.
Times like this, whenever something's troubling him, the ocean always used to help soothe his problems, but now, it has become the source of his misery.
Harry buried his feet deep into the sand, watching the ocean dance back and forth.
Then something caught his eye.
That tail.
"Draco?"
He stood up, attempting to have a closer look. His glasses are still missing, and he highly doubt that he could ever find it, so he couldn't really see. He rubbed his eyes, but when he opened them again, he saw nothing but the ocean.
It could just be his mind playing tricks on him, but that's what he told himself last time. Particularly eight years ago, and it turned out that he was wrong. That he should've believed himself. Could he be wrong the second time around? What are the odds of an average person making the same mistake twice?
Harry decided to leave. If Draco was truly there, then the siren should've just showed himself. Plus, it's not like he can go to Draco. He made a promise, and he intends to keep it.
