Chapter 6

(Meg's point of view)

"Yuurriii." I wailed out my brother's name as I watched him enjoy a pork cutlet bowl, my own dinner consisted of rice and another bowl of rabbit food. Abbison had found out that I had been eating pork cutlet bowls instead of my leafy greens, the lecture she gave me felt endless.

"I'm sorry Sis, but Abbison made sure that we would never disobey her again." I let out a groan partly angry with him, but I knew too well how terrifying my manager could be if she didn't get her way.

"She's one terrifying woman." Yurio spoke as he enjoyed his own pork cutlet bowl, I swear those two were trying to make me kill them. The news had caught word that Yurio had disappeared, luckily no one can really recognize him when he's wearing his hoodie and sun glasses. Their eyes automatically focus on the other Russian beside of him, one who was being rather quite tonight.

I glanced at him from the corner of my eye, he had copied my meal munching on leafy greens and rice. His eyes met mine a small smirk settling on his face, he sent a wink my way before turning back his attention to the two Yuris.

"She does her job well." I responded even though I was rather angry at the woman I wouldn't have been able to do my career without her. She had been the one who showed my Coach my performance as Katsuki Megumi, although she's the one who travels with me. My Coach was Ren Archer, the only times he ever was with me was when I was in Canada or America.

"Katsuki Junji Megumi!" I jumped at the voice with boundless anger all targeted towards me, not waiting for Abbison to yell at me I sprinted away leaving through the hallway window. I faintly heard her voice screaming my name as I made my quick escape.

While I didn't particularly want to practice my skating, I had come here for at least a semi Vacation, I knew that Abbison would be on my case for the next couple of months if I totally disregarded my training. Who knows what I would do if she got Archer involved.

When I arrived at the empty rink I took a moment to just soak in the silence, more then anything I needed time to think. Placing my skates on I began to practice my Short Program, Fools was for my Free Skate while a song called Somewhere Only We Know was for my Short Program.

~I Walked Across an Empty Land~
~I Knew the pathway like the back of my hand~
~I Felt the earth beneath my feet~
~Sat by the river and it made me complete~

I started by 'walking' around the rink, skating slowly as I looked around the rink as if I was looking at a barren place. As I went around the edge of the link I outstretched my hands facing the back towards the crowd. Then bent down and placed my hand just above the ice so it looked like I was touching it. Slowly I rose and began to twirl at the height you would sit down.

~Oh simple thing, where have you gone~
~I'm getting old and I need something to rely on~
~So tell me when your gonna let me in~
~I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin~

Instead of following the next sequence like I was suppose to, I decided to change things up a bit. From my spinning position I did a simple single loop moving slower as I went pretending like I was aging. I bent my back and began to do a small portion of step sequence before stretching and swinging myself into a quadruple Salchow on the word begin.

I stood with my eyes closed not continuing on with the program, it was missing something. 'Ch' I tutted angrily to myself. The problem was I had no clue what that something was. I listened to the music instead allowing myself to sway to the music.

Just to feel the music I wanted to dance away the world for a few moments. That's was until I heard another pair of skates on the ice opening my eyes I found two pairs staring at me.

"You ok Sis?" My wonderful bro biscuit stared at me like I had grown two heads. I smiled at him slightly resisting the urge to ruffle his hair.

"Do you ever get bored?" He looked shocked at me although Victor seemed to understand me completely fine. "I'm just uninspired right now bro biscuit don't worry about it."

"Is the poor rabbit bored?" I wanted to punch that stupid smirk off of his... delicious. I mean his annoying lips. Since he couldn't exactly call me snow leopard or anything of the like Victor had elected to start calling me Rabbit for the food I was forced to eat.

Still the twinkle in the silver's eyes and the way Yuri began to slowly skate backwards to escape made my heart leap in my chest.

"Skate with me little rabbit?" He held out his hand for me waiting patiently for my response. I took his hand letting him bring me closer to his body until we were touching chest to chest.

"Close your eyes and just let me guide you. Focus on nothing but me." I closed my eyes breathing his scent, I didn't think anything would be able to distract me from him anyways.

"Ok Victor." I said gently as I got slightly nervous as he led me around the rink. Slowly I got comfortable letting him led me around the rink, it was peaceful and soothing. There wasn't any fans, no manager or coach, no mask. It was just a girl who loved the ice with a man who liked the girl.

"Feel better?" My eyes fluttered open to his head tilted slightly with a goofy grin on his face. He had stopped us at the turn farthest from Yuri with Victor's back to him.

"Yes, Thank you Victor." I replied trying not to get flustered at all by him.

"I'd say a thank you gift is in order? Hm?" Jr hummed slightly annoying me enough to grab his shirt and pull him down for a kiss. I buzz of electricity shot through me making me gasp and very quickly pull away.

"Will that suffice?" I asked with a small smirk resting on my face, he seemed more dumbfounded than anything though.

"Ehm." He coughed slightly blushing sweetly, "Yes I think that will do quiet nicely." We both smiled at each other taking in the comfortable silence between the two of us.

"Although, I don't think that's how a first kiss is suppose to go." His thumb went to my chin gently pulling my lips to his, my eyes fluttered closed surprised from how soft and gentle he was being.

"Ehm." I jumped away quickly noticing my brother looking at us with a 'are you kidding me' face.

I quickly skated off feeling the blush on my face, I heard the two chuckling behind me as I skated away.

"Sis! Wait up!" I heard his skates behind me following me as I got out of the rink. I waited for both males to exit as well before we could finish our conversation.

"Yes bro biscuit?" I turned around looking at him fairly innocently even though I knew my face had to be painted bright red still.

"I just wanted to see if you two wanted to get dinner since you had stopped skating." Yuri looked at me sheepishly seemingly embarrassed from the position he had found us in moments earlier.

"Dinner sounds great!" Victor jumped in while wrapped his arm around my shoulder pulling me closer to him.

I chuckled gently, "Sure Bro." It was nice just to relax and act my age every now and then. Sometimes I wondered what life was like, a normal life filled with friends and college. I never really had any friends that were ice skaters. No one could know my identity after all, so making friends was difficult.
