Joe and Mercedes separated after Becky walked in on them kissing. Mercedes head to wake Canaa and get her dressed up in her Mini and donuts dress and custom. Canaa walks to Joe as Mercedes let her down as she enters the room.
Around 11:50 some guest starts rolling in. Joe and Mercedes often made eye connection and each time Mercedes have butterflies in her stomach. Joe was what she wanted and needed and more. As the party went on people arrived, greeted Canaa, gave gifts, drink, ate and danced as well as play games and win prizes. Three of Mercedes older cousins got drunk off some liquor they slipped in mixing it with the juices being served.
Mercedes is cleaning up the birthday party and a few stayed back to help. Mercedes is cleaning icing and cake off her when Becky walks in all smiles.
Becky, "Hi. The birthday party was great. It was great to see Colby having a great time with Canaa."
Mercedes, "Yeah that don't happen often."
Becky, "Really? He tells me he see her every time he's not working. He said he spent the whole week with her when he was on vacation last month."
Mercedes, "Well he lied."
Becky, "Well do he pay you the $5000 a month in child support?"
Mercedes, "No. And why is that your concern? Oh let me guess you're sitting in his lap? [Becky hangs her head] Listen five thousand my go missing a month but it ain't because it's going to Canaa. And as far as you and Colby---
Becky, "And you and Joe, you can just move on with him and just let Colby and I be happy."
Mercedes, "Five thousand missing a month? Lies and still legally married sounds like a happy life to you than knock yourself out."
A voice comes from behind, "How about I just knock you out bitch?!"
Mercedes turns to see Rita, the security woman (Foolish Part 1).
Mercedes, "Excuse me?"
Rita, "So you screwed my husband and had a baby."
Mercedes, "So Ralph must be your play husband and Colby is your real one? Let's be clear I didn't know he was married. He lied. Hell only four people knew in the whole locker room and two of them was our bosses. I'm sorry it happened but I love my child, don't regret my child and at the end of the day this is my house so you can take that BS alongwith your cheating husband, your flopped marriage, dumb ass security system and this bimbo orange headed bitch (referring to Becky) and hit my door."
Rita pulls out a knife, "No. You can shut the hell up and listen to me you street walking whore. You've played into my marriage for one, two many years. He was going to NEVER EVER be with a broke, self-hate bitch like you. And to mention you're black."
Mercedes, "Is that knife supposed to scare me? Your husband pulled out knives on me so many times. Get out of my husband and as far as me being black is a compliment and I wear it with honor meanwhile you white women try to mimick and your husband couldn't get enough of."
With that Rita swung the knife at Mercedes and is on top of Mercedes with the knife but Mercedes punches Rita in the nose sending blood out of it getting to her feet then Rita rushes her again knocking her to the ground and stabs Mercedes in the side.
Becky pulls Rita off but Rita punches Becky under the chin sending her stumbling back.
Joe rushes in and takes the knife from Rita and call the ambulance for Mercedes.

After being stitched up Mercedes send Joe home and gets inside the shower. All of a sudden a pair of hands comes around her waist....
