One day, these files will be looked upon as reference for many other scientists who will follow my example. It is for those people that I say this: do not let the subjects fool you. They may not be as educated as us, but they still know how to trick us. How else do you think they’ve been surviving on the streets for so long? They’re smooth talkers, brutes, cunning, creative. Do not ever let them gain the upper hand, or they will take full advantage of it. I have yet to fall prey to one of their tricks, but I see them scheming when they think I’m not watching. They’re trying to fool me, but I will not be fooled.
