We see a young man walking by himself through a run down side of town. Garbage piled up in alleyways, broken pavement making up the roads and sidewalks, mold growing across just about every building, it wasn't pretty. But for our protagonist, it was home. He had a pair of old damaged white earbuds in his ears coming out from his hoodie pocket, drowning out the city noise as he made his way home. Little did he know, something was watching him. After entering an alleyway, someone walks out from the other end of the alley.

Simon couldn't help but notice she stuck out like a sore thumb. She was clean, wore nice clothes, perfect hair, and looked rather happy. Definitely not from around here. Simon noticed her wave at him and say something, so he quickly fumbled to get his earbud out.

Simon: S-S-Sorr-rry!

The girl giggles.

Plum: It's okay! I was just saying hi anyway!

Simon: O-Oh, u-u-umm, h-hi-i!

Plum: But while I have you...

She took a step towards him.

Plum: I can't help but notice your eyes!

Simon: O-O-O-Oh-h, I-I-

Plum: I've never seen rainbow irises like yours before. They're very pretty!

Simon: O-O-Oh, u-umm... t-thank-k-

She took a step closer.

Plum: Let me get a closer look!~

Before Simon could blink, she had him pinned against a wall.

Plum: So pretty!~

Simon: I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-

Plum: Such a pretty boy~

She lightly caresses his cheek.

Plum: So, how about we go back to my place?~

Simon, thoroughly embarrassed, wiggles under her arms and just runs away.

Plum: W-Wait-

She watched him run away, letting out a sigh.

Plum: I rushed it again...

Her eyes glow yellow.

Plum: I'll try again!

Back with Simon, he had just gotten away from the girl he had just met. The interaction was so out of nowhere he had panicked and ran without thinking, but looking back she was probobaly just a... well... an "actress".

Plum: Hey!

The boy jumps, not expecting the girl to have followed him.

Plum: Ehe... a jumpy one, aren't ya?

She says, giggling a little.

Plum: Sorry to scare you before. I just... really do think you look cute, a-and was wondering if you were single by chance?

Simon, bright red, was now completely embaressed. Here he was presuming this innocent girl to be a protitute when she just wanted a date.

Simon: I-I-I-I d-dunn-nno-o, u-u-umm-mm...

Plum(thinking): Daw, he really is kinda cute...

Plum: C'mon, I'll be gentle!~

Simon: S-S-Sorry... u-u-u-umm-mm....

He fidgets a little.

Plum; Don't be nervous if it's your first time dating!~

Simon: I-I-I'm j-jus-st no-o-ot l-l-look-ooking f-for t-t-tha-at k-k-kind o-of r-r-rela-atio-o-onship-p-p r-right n-n-now!

He nervously tries backing away, but Plum just followed him.

Plum: How about a game? You win, I'll leave you alone. I win, you agree to a date?

Simon:... U-Umm...

His expression seemed to soften a little.

Simon: C-Can yo-o-ou s-s-sing?

He asks, pulling his microphone out from his pocket.

Plum: Sing?

Simon: Y-Yeah! I... U-Uhh...

He fidgets a little.

Simon: W-We... C-C-Could-d d-do a-a s-s-sin-nging b-batt-tt-ttle?

Plum: Oh, I think I've heard about those...

She got a smirk on her face.

Plum: Hang on... Is it because you can't even get a straight word out, you chose one of the only kinds of singing that doesn't use lyrics?~

Simon looked down, a little uncomfortable.

Simon: Y-Yeah...

He says in a slight sorrowful tone, one Plum didn't seem to pick up on.

Plum: Okay! Well, I'm not that good at singing. So can we do a bit of a practice round?

Simon: S-S-Su-ure!

Plum: Alright, you have some music on you?

Simon pulls out his old phone he was listening to music on earlier.

Plum: Perfect!

She took a few steps back.

Plum: Ready when you are sweetie!~

Simon: O-O-Okay!

Tutorial--

The music finishes, Plum as happy as could be.

Plum: Alright, I think I get it! Can we do a serious round now? Where we actually wager our earlier bets?

Simon: O-Okay. I-I-If y-yo-ou a-are-

Plum: Great! Let's begin then!
