The above doesn't really suit this story, but I found it hilarious so it's there now. You've gotta read it.

Your POV
"I'm fine, Y/N! Stop it!" An angry and rather flustered Poe Dameron snarls through a hiss of pain as you begin to tend to his most recent addition to injuries, yet another blaster wound.
You sigh in annoyance, backing away from the Pilot's bruised and singed arm, casting him a doubtful glance.
"You're not fine, Poe." You state matter-of-factly, crossing your arms over your chest. "You literally just took a shot to the arm!"
Thankfully, it hadn't been anything else. A blaster wound you could handle, anything else involving blood... That was a different story.
Finally, he stops his protesting and you get to work, cleaning and then bandaging the wound.
"You really did take a good hit," You mutter, more to yourself than him.
"Figures..." He mumbles in reply before suddenly turning pale, "I think I need to lay down for a bit..."
"Dameron..." You curse under your breath, steadying the heavier man beside you as he begins to lose consciousness. "Don't you dare think of giving into that pain!"
"What pain, hun? I'm just fine! Commander Dameron reporting for duty!" He laughs, his words slurring together.
You can't help but chuckle as you guide him towards his side of the small shuttle you both were sharing for the mission, which didn't seem to be going according to plan at this moment.
"I promise you, I'm fine to fly! Where's BeeBee Eight? I wonder what Finn is doing. Don't I have a meeting with Leia today?" Poe begins to ramble, sounding more drunk than wounded.
Who knew he'd get like this.
"Poe, you need to get it together and go to sleep." You order, your stern sounding voice cracking at the situation in front of you as you hand him two pills and a bottle of water. "Just take these pain pills and go to sleep. We've still got to keep moving tomorrow."
At this, the dark haired pilot just pouts like a child.
"I don't want to. Pills are horrible!" He whines, taking them anyway, the adult side of him likely grateful for the two small tablets.
"Just sleep, Dameron. For both of our sakes."
Turning on your heel, you leave Poe in your wake as you head to the cockpit, preparing the takeoff procedures.
"Time to leave this rock." You snarl through clenched teeth, flicking all the necessary switches. "Too much has gone wrong here."
First, Comms go dead. Then, we find out this rust bucket has a pretty major fuel leak... And to top it all off, my partner gets taken down by some bucket head and begins to act intoxicated!
"What else could possibly go wrong?" You mutter, settling into the pilot's seat, feeling the engines rumble to life.
And then, before you knew it, you were watching the blur of hyperspace whisk by you.
"3 standard hours in hyperspace..." You mutter, overlooking the various switches and controls before turning it over to autopilot. "Time to sit around here and do nothing."
Sighing, you begin to sink back into the cushions behind you, feeling your eyelids becoming heavy.
Maybe I'll just take a quick nap...

"What the hell is that noise?" You hear a rather distantly familiar masculine voice demand, sounding very very annoyed.
You awake with an extremely sudden start, gasping for breath as your eyes fly wide open to reveal an array of blinking red lights, accompanied by a horrible, obnoxious shrieking alarm.
"Poe!" You yell, hearing the man spray an array of curses and profanities as he makes his way towards where you were still seated, panic raging through you.
Seconds later, an exhausted and worn out looking Resistance Commander pushes his way past you, practically throwing you out of the pilot's seat.
"Thank you." You murmur, beginning to scramble towards the hyperspace computer, knowing that the pilot would definitely want to know if there was anywhere to actually make a possible landing.
"Y/N, where are we at?" Poe asks aloud, an urgency in his tone.
Something was extremely wrong. Both of you knew that much.
You glance at the dimly lit screen in front of you, your current course being marked out in white dotted lines, a white circle coming up on your path.
The circle was a planet, or some type of moon by the looks of its size. It had no official title. It was simply just a dot on a map.
"There's a moon or something up ahead. It's unmarked, though!" You reply, your head beginning to race.
If we crash land in the middle of nowhere... We don't have any supplies... THE FUEL.
You nearly scream in such a sudden panic as you push your way back into the cockpit, jumping into the co-pilot's seat, scanning the gauges in front of you.
"We're running on fumes." You state, your voice cracking with realization.
"I know." Came the quiet reply from the man sitting beside you, completely focused on the task at hand. "Dropping out of light speed."
Once more, your eyes widen in shock.
The moon that was rushing towards you was bright white, which could only mean one thing.
"Snow." You mutter bitterly, the thought of the frozen surface in front of you giving you chills.
"It's gonna be chilly." Poe jokes, trying to lighten the dark mood.
You only nod, grimacing.
"We don't have anything for this kind of harsh environment, Poe..." You trail off, the pieces slowly fitting together in your head. "We're gonna freeze to death. Literally."
You go quiet, the only sounds surrounding you are the alarms and the sound of the rust bucket you were sitting in, straining to stay aloft without any fuel.
"Brace yourself!" The pilot warns, the bleak surface of whatever back washed moon you were about to call home for awhile rushed to meet you.
You let out a scream, expecting shattered glass to go flying, metal to snap... However, none of that came as the horrible shrieking is cut of abruptly and the ship you're sitting in stops it's forward movement.
"We're alive." You muse aloud, fixing your attention on Poe who still had his hands on the controls.
"Yeah..." He murmurs, seemingly lost in thought before he runs a hand through his hair, tossing you his trademark smirk. "I can't believe you'd think we be dead!"
You can't help but laugh at his mock offense.
"You're one hell of a pilot, Dameron." You laugh with a sigh, getting up out of your seat and heading towards the rear of the ship, your attention now back to business. "We should probably asses the situation at hand."
"Whatever you want, love."
You stop abruptly, turning on your heel to face Poe, who was just smirking, leaning against the frame of the entrance to the cockpit.
"Excuse me?"
"What? You don't like nicknames? Are you all about serious business?" He teases, a rather suggestive look settling on his features.
Those pain meds must've kicked in for him to be acting like this already.
"Dameron. I swear..." You start, feeling a sudden heat rising to your cheeks. "We're stuck on some back washed frozen hell of a place and all you want to do is flirt with me? Unbelievable."
At this, he just shrugs, his smirk still plastered to his face as he brushes past you, sending your head into a whirl and causing the heat on your cheeks to rise. It felt like you were burning from the inside out.
It always seemed that feelings got the best of you in moments like these. There was just something about Poe Dameron that well, made him Poe Dameron.
You shake your head, attempting to clear the rather sudden barrage of rather fanciful thoughts.
There is no time for this! We have no idea what we're up against or if anyone saw us crash or, or, or!
"Well, are you coming or not?" The pilot's voice draws you back in, your headspace clearing. "You were the one who seemed so eager to asses the situation at hand."
Turning on your heel, you look for the source of the voice, finding that Poe had in fact managed to miraculously scrape together some pretty ancient looking winter gear.
"Those aren't Resistance issued..." You nod slowly, taking the parka and gloves from his outstretched hands. "Are these from the days of the Rebellion?"
"No idea." Comes the reply, as he shrugs on his parka before beginning to help you with yours. "But they very well could be. This shuttle is from that era after all."
"Makes sense." You agree, feeling the warmth in your cheeks heat up once again as Poe teasingly throws the parka's hood over your head, which, might I add, was already ten sizes too big for your small frame.
"Poe!" You protest, your vision suddenly only filled with the fur on the parka's hood.
"Sorry, I couldn't resist." He smirks, setting the hood back where it belongs, tucking in a stray strand of your hair behind your ear.
And you were melting again.
"Well, into the unknown, I guess." You murmur, trailing behind Poe to the entrance ramp.
With a flick of a switch, the ramp begins to lower, a blast of extremly cold wind accompanied by snow flurries hitting you both.
"It's a bit chilly out there!" He yells over the howl of the wind rushing past your two already freezing figures.
You can't help but roll your eyes.
"Let's just get this over with."
****
"Fuel is gone! Hull is smashed! We're missing all of our landing gears! And to top it all off, our engines are all filled with snow!" Poe yells, throwing his gloves to the ground in rage before wincing in slight pain. "We're stuck here, damn it!"
You sigh tiredly, your frozen parka tossed to the side, along with your gloves.
Never before had you seen Poe this angry before. It was almost like the meds from earlier were too strong. He was furious.
"Easy there, Commander." You warn, glancing at where the bandages from earlier has shifted. "You need to take it easy!"
At this, the pilot just laughs, rather manically.
"Take it easy? You want me to take it easy?!" He fumes, stalking up to you. "I don't know if you've noticed, sweetheart, but we're gonna be stuck here for a lot longer than a few days. It'll be at least a month before anyone can find us! We're being buried by snow as we speak!"
You take a step back, put off by Poe's sudden advance.
"S...Sure..." You begin, lowering your voice slightly as if to try and calm him down. "But yelling about it isn't going to get us out of here..."
You both go quiet.
After a few moments, the angry tension in the room begins to slowly ebb away, slowly being replaced by something else.
"That's what I mean. We can't get out of here. There's just no way out." Poe whispers rather huskily, taking another step towards you.
You don't flinch this time. Instead, you just let the man in front of you continue with his advance, your brain thinking through all the possible ways to get off this rock and all the possible things this pilot was going to say.
"Sure there is, we've just got to re-asses the situation... We've been in tougher spots before..." You trail off, beginning to feel yourself automatically take measured paces backward towards the wall.
"You don't get it, Y/N." Poe sighs, his voice nearly inaudible as your back bumps into the wall, causing you to jump ever so slightly.
"What do you-" Your breath hitches in your throat as he places his hand on the wall beside your head in an effort to steady himself as he leans closer to you.
"I can't get you out of here." He states, a solemn look settling upon his features before he repeats it again, his voice thick with remorse. "I can't get you out of here."
"Poe, I..." You start once more, only to be cut off.
"This is all my fault... If I had never asked for a partner on this assignment, Leia would've never assigned you... And then, you wouldn't be here. Stuck with me." He murmurs, his normal confidence and ego nowhere to be found.
"Hey..." You whisper, as his gaze meets yours, you smile teasingly. "Since when have you cared so much about just another 'partner?'"
Almost immediately, Poe's face begins to turn red, likely matching yours.
"Well... I..." He stutters, before you press a finger to his lips, silencing him.
"Just come out and say it."
"Say what?"
"Say it."
"Say what?"
"You're stuck with me for awhile, Poe. You're gonna have to confess one way or another... But, I guess technically, you already did."
"Oh, fine." He grumbles, though his tone doesn't match his expression. At all.
As he leans in closer to you, his eyes light up in a way you've never seen before, sending a burst of sudden confidence through you, causing you to meet him half way.
"Easy there, tiger." Poe smirks as the two of you break apart, likely grinning like idiots.
"You should be the one taking it easy, Flyboy. You're the one who's injured." You reply, a smirk tugging at your lips.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever."
