Emily awoke with a jerk, and a bonk to the head with another head. "OW!!" She yelled in pain, as the other person pulled back and whimpered in pain as well. "What was that for?!" Emily squealed, rubbing her head and turning to see who it was. It was just her older brother, Kousei.

    "Why'd you do that?" Emily pouted, and Kousei sighed. "You're gonna be late for school, get up!" He urged, smirking and dragging her by the hand out of bed. "Okay, okay, I'm up! Now let me change," she shooed him out of the room, and got her clothes on. It was the middle of October down in Vancouver, where Emily lived. This was Emily's favourite season, when the leaves changed color and the summer heat was dying down and getting slightly chilly. She loved to wear hoodies and sweaters too, so there's another reason for you. She pulled on her favourite hoodie, slipping on some black and white striped leggings before getting her school stuff ready. She stuffed her binder, lunchbag, water bottle, and pencil case into her bag, zipping it up and leaving her room after picking up her phone from her nightstand.

    She rushed down the stairs and grabbed a bagel from the counter, where she found Kousei waiting for her. "Let's go!" He opened the door, greeted by a cool autumn breeze. The two stepped out and began to walk down to their Highschool, Shepard Avenue Secondary School. Emily immediately started to daydream while walking; she loved to think about what It would be like If she could grow wings. She felt she had a link with It, almost as If she already could. what a great way to start off the day, with colorful trees and crisp, cool air.
