Flicker huffs with annoyance, flopping back against the chair.

CUT TO:

INT. FLICKER'S BEDROOM - EVENING

Flicker is poking around inside the remote with a screwdriver. Something sparks and she wrenches back, dropping the screwdriver and shaking her hand to recover from the small electrical shock. She grits her teeth, picks up the screwdriver, and gets back to work.

CUT TO:

INT. FLICKER'S BEDROOM - NIGHT

Flicker turns on the remote, looking utterly hopeless.

The holo-fig jumps to life. She tries moving it around and it follows every command perfectly.

She begins sitting upright, hope flooding her features, as the small figure twirls on the desktop. She stands, hopping up and down slightly, as the holo-fig performs perfectly.
