Everything was going well for Steve after teleporting back in time and he was very happy with Peggy ( I have a theory that he didn't live with Peggy but thats a story for later) but sometimes he missed his old friends.

He was having a party with some SHIELD agents because they just came back from a very successful mission but  something was off and he felt like he was forgetting something.

Peggy reminded him that his appointment was tomorrow but that wasn't what he forgot. He continued to stay at the party but the uneasy feeling never went away. It was pretty normal because he was quite old now, yes, Tony's word were now very true and he was an old man, just the thought of his old friend mad his heart ache, and the rest of his day went pretty well. At night Peggy called out

"Steve, I'm going to meet up with some friends, they said they're having some trouble. Don't forget your appointment tomorrow! With the old age, I don't even think you remember that the date today is December 16," That last sentence was just an off-hand comment but it made Steve pit out the water he was drinking.

Oh, so that's what he forgot. Shit.

He could almost hear his teammates saying 'language' and then laughing about it. He wonders what the remaining ones were. He missed his family. He may have Peggy now but she could never replace the family he had. He missed Tony and his sarcastic comments. He missed Thor and his joyfulness. He missed Nat and Clint, remembering the murder twins and their ability so sneak into anywhere. He missed Bruce and his nerding. He missed all his teammates, old and new, they were like a family to him. A tear slid down his cheek. 

Nat, Tony I hope you have a good time where ever you guys are. Keep each other company.

He went to sleep, dreaming about all the memories he made with the Avengers, his family.

---Meanwhile---

*A few years ago*

Natasha Romanoff was relaxing in this heavenly world, peace at last. Not. Just after she thought it, ACDC music blasted out of nowhere and a familiar, comforting but annoying voice said,

"Agent Romanoff, you miss me?"

 Natasha turned around, not believing her eyes, and grinned. The biggest smile she ever had. She ran and hugged Tony

"Oh I missed you my dear but very annoying friend"

*Now*

Tony and Natasha kept any eye out for all their teammates, how, we will never know

Me: SHUT UP *Drags him back to where he came from*)

Tony shouted angry profanities at Mysterio while Nat seethed in anger. Tony almost re dying after hearing Peter call ACDC Led Zeppelin. They also watched over their 90 year old friend and laughed when he almost slipped up like:

Have you read Harry Potter?

and

Just google it 

But on December 16th, Tony went silent. He watched Steve cry and shed tears at the thought of his teammates and his parent's death day. At least he cares about us. Nat does all she can to comfort Tony and they decide on watching a movie, which they totally have. They watched Home Alone, to which Nat pointed out all that could have gone wrong and how to fix it. They continued on until they fell asleep, cuddling like brother and sister (whey the brother and sister got along)

December 16. A day where we remember the past but also continue to walk into the future
