Chapter 3
Bill Cipher P.O.V
It has been six earth years since my Weirdmageddon plan failed. The Pines family think that they have defeated me, but they are wrong. I am still here.
During the six years, I have been regaining my strength. I was weakened by Stanley's mind and was forced to take some time for myself. But now I have returned and I'm stronger than ever.
This summer is going to be interesting. It has come to my attention that Dipper Pines has finally returned. I have been dying to see how he's grown. I also know that he's rather curious about seeing me.
'Cute little Pine Tree~. He's missed me~. A visit is long overdue~.'
I float through the forest in my human form. The moon has a soft glow tonight that can barely cut through the thick trees. The night is simply beautiful.
I have not been to the Mystery Shack in a very long time. It's quite obvious to me that Dipper will be residing there.
I fly up to the triangular window of the attic and peer inside. Dipper is asleep and seems content with his dream. I simply can't help myself.
When I enter his dream I am surprised to see that his mind is blank; an empty space with no real dream taking place. It's rather intriguing.
In the center of the darkness, I see Dipper. He is sitting with his eyes closed and appears to be performing some variation of meditation. It makes me curious about what he could be trying to accomplish.
I hover closer to him and remain quiet. Pine Tree has not yet noticed that I have invaded his eerily peaceful dream.
'Perhaps his dreams are the only peaceful escape he has. From that first summer he was here it seemed as though his life was rather hectic and stressful. I doubt that much has changed.'
I move even closer to him and circle him a few times. He is still unaware that I am in his dream with him. Although, with the amount of excitement in this dream he may need me to spice things up.
"Hello, Pine Tree, long time no see," I greet, a mischievous smile spreading across my face.
Dipper's eyes quickly fly open in terror. He breaks his stance and backs away from me quickly.
"B-Bill!" he exclaims, crawling back on his hands.
I laugh softly and move closer. "Who else would you be expecting? After all, didn't you come back to Gravity Falls just to find me?"
His face dusts over with a light pink as his expression morphs into an adorable glare. I have always found him to be rather adorable when he's frustrated.
"Get out of my dream!" Dipper snaps.
The darkness begins to crack slowly. It becomes apparent that I have obviously corrupted something.
"Why should I? I think this dream could use a little excitement," I tell him, tapping my foot against one of the cracks, only damaging it further.
A thick black fluid pours from the hole. It becomes clear that I have just unleashed one of Dipper's nightmares. And due to the state of this fluid, I would assume that it must be one of his biggest fears.
Dipper backs away quickly, his breathing becoming hitched as he stares in disbelief. It's obvious that he had this fear trapped for quite some time.
The thick fluid begins to move together and rise until it finally takes shape. I am surprised to see that Pine Tree's biggest fear is me. Although, this version of me is when I'm angry.
Dipper quickly stumbles to his feet and begins to run. His nightmare follows until he ultimately hides behind me. I am the only other object in his dream.
I roll my eye, because I only have one and an eye patch, and snap my fingers. The nightmare is gone.
"Well, Pine Tree, that certainly was interesting, but I must be on my way."
He looks at me and then looks around at the emptiness of his dream.
"Remember! Reality is an illusion, the universe is a hologram, buy gold, bye!" And with that, I was gone from his dream.
