*Grace's POV*

I stood at my locker the next day. "Hey Grace." I answered without looking,

"Hey Jack." He cleared his throat.

"It's not Jack." I turned around.

"Oh I'm so sorry Andrew. It's just it's usually Jack that talks to me."

"It's okay." He smiled. Andrew and I have known each other since elementary. He's friends with Jack, but he's way nicer. He has a kind smile, dark skin and dark brown hair. I closed my locker.

"What's up." I smiled.

"Can't I just say hi to my friend?" He smiled back. His smile was blinding.

"Haha. Nope you've got to have a reason. What is it." I continued to smile.

"Okay fine. I need help." 

"With what?"

"My-" 

"Hey Grace." Jack swung his arm around me shoulder. 

"Oh hey Jack." I didn't smile. "Andy what were you saying?"

"My-"

" Hold on. You call him Andy." Jack asked

"Yeah. Is there something wrong with that?"

"Well-" 

"Continue Andy."

"As I was saying-" Andrew began.

"Hold on. I will not be ignored, Grace." Jack said. He noticed the clock. We only had three more minutes to get to class. Jack grabbed my hand. "Time to go princess."

"Hey hold on. I'm still talking to Andy. Princess?"

"We'll talk later." Andrew said. Jack dragged my all the way to Ms. Mallory's class. I yanked my hand out of his. Ms. Mallory was watching us.

"What's your problem. I was still talking to Andy." I whispered.

"We needed to get to class." He whispered back.

"We had three minutes. We still would've made it to class on time."

"Take your seats miss Grace and mister Jack." Ms. Mallory commanded.

"Yes ma'am." We took our seats. The bell rang. I glared at Jack.

"What?"

"I had two more minutes to talk." He sighed.

"Whatever." He rolled his eyes

"What's your-"

"Grace and Jack! Pay attention."

"Yes ma'm." What's Jack problem? I was just talking to Andy. 

Once Ms. Mallory's class ended, I hurried out of class. I didn't fell like talking that guy. I looked back as I was rushing to class and being the clumsy person I am, I ran into no other than my best friend- the wall. Andy happened to be passing by and saw me hit it. 

"Woah. You okay?" Andy asked. I began to stand up. Andy helped me.

I grunted. Ugh. That really hurt. I saw Jack coming towards me out of the corner of my eye. I let go of Andy. 

"I'm fine. I gotta go. Bye." I said.

"Ah,Grace watch-." I didn't get to hear what said because just as I was looking back to listen to what he was saying, I slammed into a door and fell. Apparently I didn't learn my lesson the first time.

"Grace, Grace, Grace can you hear me?" It was Jack.

"Go away Jack." I mumbled still sleeping

"It's Andrew." I completely woke up.

"Oh, sorry Andy." We were in the nurse's office.

"It's okay. Jack went to get you an ice pack. The nurse stepped out for a minute."

"Oh. Well you wanna tell me what you wanted to tell me earlier."

"Oh right. Grace will-"

"I brought the ice pack." It was Jack. "Oh Grace you're awake. You feeling better?" I turned away from him. "Grace, are you still mad." I ignored him. "Why are you mad at me anyway." There was an awkward silence for a while. 

"Um, I gotta go to class. I talk to you later Grace. See you later Jay." Andrew patted Jack on the shoulder then left. Jay? Is it really that hard to say Jack? Next thing you know you'll have a nickname and my nickname will be Gra because it's really that hard to say Grace. Then after they've shortened your name to a letter they'll make it longer. Completely ruining the point of nicknames. *Hi my name is Amy. "no your name is now Ames. No your name is A. No it's Ariel the mermaid! Yeah that's it. I like that name"* Anyway back on topic. 

"Are you gonna answer me Princess?" 

A/N: Sorry I didn't update yesterday or eariler. I was too lazy and was busy moping about no school. I wrote 714 words. That's a record for me! Please vote and follow me. Show this author a little love.
