It was Janmashtami. The Maheshwari's had invited Singhaniya's and Goenka's to celebrate janamashtmi at there house. Kartik came in a bike while Dadi, keerti, mansi and luv kush came in a car. Singhaniya's were already there as they welcomed the Goenka's. Naira blushed on seeing kartik. The video was still fresh in her mind.

They celebrated Janmashtami. Vivaan also came. Akshara and naira played yashoda and krishna respectively. Kartik teased naira at the end of the dance for which he later apologised.

Kartik :- sorry. Mazak kar raha tha dosti ke haq se. Aur ab jo taaref kar raha hoon vo-

He stopped himself before he could say anything further.

Naira :- vo, vo kis haq se ?

Kartik came near her and brought the apple in his hand to her face.

Kartik :- apple. Apple khao, dimaag ke ghode mat dodao.

He turned to leave before naira held his hand and stopped him.

Naira :- baat poori karke jao. Vo kis haq se.

Kartik looked at her.

Kartik :- tum nahi samjhogi.

Naira just looked at him and went from there.

Kartik :- stage pe chahe jitni bhi krishna ban lo par asal zindagi mein hamesha meri radha rahogi.

Kartik lost himself in a dream about him and naira doing romance. By far it was the most erotic dream he have had. It was broken when mishti pinched him.

A matki phod competition was held in which kartik and naira won. ( Gayu doesn't cheer for kartik ). Later when naira forgot the samagri, she and kartik went on Kartik's bike and brought it back. Everything was going fine until badi nani fell from stairs.

The doctor came and she was treated. Kartik consoled naira, kuhu and mishti and finally nannu's truth came out where he confessed. Kartik decided to stay with the Maheshwari's the night. He was sitting on the family swing, when naira came and sat beside him. For a moment he thought he was dreaming but then when she stepped on his toe he realised it wasn't a dream.

Naira finally gave him coffee and both were sitting on the swing.

Naira :- aur kuch chahiye tumhe.

Kartik :- tum.

Naira looked at him.

Naira :- huh ?

Kartik realised what he said.

Kartik :- Tum theek toh ho na ? Vo hamesha apne aap ko itni strong dikhati ho par-

Naira :- par hoon nahi. Yahi na ?

Kartik nodded.

Naira :- sahi soch rahe ho tum. Ham sab khud ko aise dikha rahe hain jaise hum hai nahi. Aur sirf mein hi nahi mumma, bhai, dadi sab aise act kar rahe hain jaise bahut strong hai. Par actually unke dimaag mein kuch aur hi chal raha hai, unke dimaag mein kuch aur hi hai. Badi nani, iss family ke liye kya hai mumma ke liye kya hai, ye mein jaanti hoo. Vo kitna dar gayi thi. Upar se papa bhi yahan nahi hai jinse vo apna dukh share kar sake, jo unhe sambhal sake. Sab thik rehne ki acting kar rahe hai apno ke liye, apno ke khatir. Jaise ki tum.

Kartik looked at naira. Naira looked at him.

Naira :- aise kya dekh rahe ho. Tum bhi toh thik nahi ho na.

Kartik looked away.

Naira :- thik hai. Tume nahi batana hai toh mein nahi puchungi dobara, kyun ki agar batana hota toh shayad ab tak bata chuke hote. Lekin ek baat, koi bhi cheez jyada der tak nahi rehti, na hi acha, na hi bura.

Naira went from there. Kartik looked down. Naira had no idea how much her words had relieved kartik.

Next day naira was very excited. Finally after so much time her father was coming home. She wanted to give Naitik a surprise for her dance academy but how. She got an idea and called kartik.

Kartik :- hello.

Naira :- hello kartik.

Kartik :- haa naira.

Naira :- tum abhi kahan ho ?

Kartik :- mein apne office mein.

Naira :- ok. Mein tumse milne aa rahi hoon. Mughe tumhari help chahiye.

Kartik :- thik hai. Aa jao.

Kartik was excited, naira was coming to his office. Kartik was already day dreaming about naira. He was imagining him and naira doing romance in his cabin. His thoughts were broken when someone knocked his cabin door.

Kartik :- come in.

It was sudhir. His father's personal assistant.

Sudhir :- sir, vo aapse koi naira singhaniya milne aayi hai.

Kartik :- haa, bhej do unhe.

Naira came inside. She had been shocked when she saw how big the office building was. It was surely one of the biggest buildings in udaipur. Now she was surprised again when she saw how luxurious his cabin was.

On one side of the wall there was a shelf and it was filled with awards and certificates. There were also photos of him with family members and with some VVIP's. At a such young age he had really achieved a lot.

She saw him and couldn't help but admire him. He was wearing a black suit. This was the man who was one of the pillars of Goenka empire. She blushed a bit, again while sleeping in the morning she had the same dream of her kissing him. It was like that scene had invaded her mind. Everytime she closed her eyes only that scene came in her mind.

Kartik :- hey veeru.

Naira :- jai.

Kartik made her sit on the sofa and sat beside her.

Kartik :- bolo, kya help chahiye thi ?

Naira :- actually, vo papa aa rahe hai.

Kartik was surprised. He didn't know that.

Kartik :- sir, aa rahe hai.

Naira :- haa, aur mein unhe surprise dena chathi thi, dance academy ki presentation se. Toh mughe tumhari help chahiye thi usme.

Kartik :- wow. Nice, and of course mein kyun help nahi karoonga.

Both were working on the presentation, when naira received a call. It was naksh who was calling her as they were bringing ganpati home.

Naira :- kartik, tum bhi chalo na.

Kartik :- nahi presentation ka kaam baaki hai na. Tum ek kaam karo, tum jao mein phir ye mail karke, aa jaaonga, ok.

Naira :- ok. Vaise mein tumhe batana bhul gayi. Gayu di ne vivaan ko haa kar di hai.

Kartik :- nice. Meri taraf se congrats kar dena gayu ko, vaise toh jab mein miloonga tab bhi bol dunga par tum bhi ek baar bol dena.

Naira nodded. She was about to leave and was near the door when kartik called her.

Kartik :- oh hello.

Naira :- kya hua ? Ab kya chahiye.

She looked at him. Kartik came near her. He removed the pin from which kept her hair tied. Her hair came loose. He showed her the pin which was actually his pen.

Kartik :- mera pen.

Naira took back the pen and started tying her hair again.

Naira :- hoga, par ab meri pin hai.

Kartik :- vaise, tumhare baal khule hue jyada ache lagte hai.

Naira looked at kartik. After a moment she went from there. Kartik just smiled. Naira came outside. She sat in the car. She touched her hand at her hair bun before untying it.

Singhaniya family were bringing ganpati home, everyone was dancing and celebrating and naira was sorely missing kartik.

In the evening kartik came himself to give naira the presentation. He was mesmerized on seeing naira. She was looking so pretty. He gave the file to her.

Kartik :- I know maine kaha tha ki office mein complete karke vahin se bhej dunga par end moment pe server down ho gaya aur mein khud hi aa gaya. Ek baari dekh lo ki sab thik hai bas kal kuch gadbad nahi honi chahiye. Naitik sir jab aaenge tab unke liye perfect surprise hona chahiye.

Naira :- thank you.

For a moment there eyes met and both of them looked away as if avoiding each other. There eyes met and they smiled again.

Kartik :- mere paas ek idea hai.

Naira :- haa, kya ?

Kartik :- kal jab Naitik sir aur mam milenge na toh tum koyle ka powder uchal dena.

Naira :- what ?

Kartik :- haa. Taaki kisi ki najar na lage, itne kisse sun chuka hoon unki love story ke ki kisi na kisi ki najar lagni pakki hai.

Naira :- I know tum majak kar rahe ho lekin ye baat sach hai unki love story hai hi aisi. Tumhe toh aadhe se jyada kisse pata bhi nahin hai.

Kartik :- that may be true but jitna bhi maine suna hai I am very impressed.

Naira :- pata hai mujhe ye luv stories ka idea bahut impractical lagta hai.

Kartik :- what!! Tumhe love stories impractical lagti hai. Mere hisaab se love stories se jyada practical and beautiful cheez koi ho hi nahin sakti. I mean jab ladka apna haath train se aage badhata hai aur ladki bhag kar uske pass aati hai aur fir vo dono aankhon mein aankhein daal ke dekhte hain aur jab vo heroine barfili pahadi mein apni chiffon ki saree pehen ke dance karti hai and that moment I can live for that moment I can die for that moment.

Naira started laughing.

Kartik :- what? Tum has kyun rahi ho?

Naira :- Tum ladke hoke aise mushy romantic stories mein believe karte ho, jahan par aadhe se jyada sab kuch dream mein hi chalta rehta hai.

Kartik :- yaar ab ye mat kehna ki tumhe sapno se bhi problem hai, an vo toh hamara basic right hai.

Naira was just laughing.

Kartik :- tum sach mein nahi maan rahi na.

Naira :- nahi, maan liya maine.

Kartik :- pata hai, mein bhi na bilkul tumhari tarah tha. Sirf action movies dekhta tha, romantic movies toh maine pichle kuch time se dekhna shuru kiya hai.

Naira looked at him.

Naira :- kyun, aisa kya hua hai pichle kuch dino main ?

Both looked at each other.

Kartik :- chodo na veeru.

Naira :- bata bhi do jai.

It took all his will power to not to go near her and confess his love.

Kartik :- vo pichle kuch mahino se koi action movie release hi nahi hui hai. Bas ye mushy romantic film aa rahi hai. Toh bas.

Kartik pointed to the file on table.

Kartik :- ye file.

Slowly he moved backwards while naira only kept looking at him. Kartik said bye and went. Naira only kept looking at retreating form. Her heart fluttered, something was happening to her. She didn't know what feeling this was. But she knew one thing that this feeling was very special.

Next day kartik joined the Singhaniya's for ganpati pooja. He congratulated Gayu for Vivaan. One more good news came when gayu received the confirmation message for participation in Swiss designer watch competition.

Naman came but Naitik didn't. It broke Kartik's heart when he saw naira breaking down. At that moment he wanted nothing more than to go near her, hug her, console her and tell her that everything would be alright.

Later when he was leaving she gave him Prasad and asked his help for further completing the presentation and getting permission for the academy.

Kartik :- naira, abhi thode din mein mughe Switzerland jaana hai ek bahut badi deal ke liye. But don't worry naira sara kaam ho jaega, agar-

Naira :- agar.

Kartik :- agar tum smile karo toh.

Naira just looked down.

Kartik :- ab mein chalta hoon, office mein bahut kaam hai agar hila bhi toh problem ho jaegi.

Naira :- aur presentation.

Kartik :- shaam ko kar loonga, tension kyun le rahi ho. Tumne mughe kaam diya hai na, samgho ho gaya.

He was about to leave when naira called him.

Naira :- kartik. Tumne toh kaha tha ki ganpati ji tumhare bhai hai, toh agar unse koi bhi wish poori karwani toh tum karwa sakte ho, toh unko bolo na ki mere papa ko bhej de. Kyun rukwa ke rakha hai waha.

Kartik :- bol deta. Par tumne hi toh kaha tha na ki tumhe tumhare aur sir ke beech mein koi commision agent nahi chahiye. Toh phir jahan par sache dil se itne log pray kar rahe hai toh vahan par meri kya zaroorat hai, tumhara, naksh ka, gayu ka, mam ka, tum sabke emotions kaafi hai kisi bhi bhagwan ka decision badalne ke liye aur please please please thoda sa smile kar liya karo.

Naira smiled a bit.

Kartik :- ek min.

He took red colour kept there on his index fingers and made circles on naira's cheeks.

Naira :- kartik, ye kya kar rahe ho tum ?

Kartik :- vo cartoon mein tumne ladkiyon ko ye rooch lagate hue dekha hai, bas vahi hai ye, ab jab bhi vo smile kartik hai ya gussa hoti hai toh ye rooch bahut nikhar ke aata hai. Ab tumhari choice hai tum smile karo ya gussa ho jao.

This time naira smiled and chuckled a bit. Kartik smiled on seeing naira's smile.

Kartik :- take care. Khud ka bhi hai aur family ka bhi. Princess ka matalab sirf tiara pehen ka haath hilana nahi hota jimmedariyan bhi hai.

Kartik went from there. Naira looked at him going. She touched her cheek where he had touched and a loving smile came on her lips.

A/N :- The office romance is the same what kartik imagined in Naitik's office in season 57 episode 36.

Tomorrow is 12 October, 4 years of kartik confessing his love.

Finally Manish is alright but again a new storm is coming when everyone comes to know that krishna came kn front of the car which caused the accident. Let's see where the story takes us. I just hope for KaiRa to be alright.
