Hard to be tough when
External forces cause one
To melt.

It's terrifying to be so susceptible
So malleable
In someone's presence.

Holding it in, keeping it together-
An ability in which I take pride.
Never being swayed
Never falling, never changed.

A fool?
A coward?
An idolater?
A fan?
Merely a friend?

Strength, sass, attitude-
My greatest attributes.
Fall away like a shell.
How? How do you?
Why?

Incomprehensible
Impossible
In too deep.

Losing control, losing sanity
That was never actually there.
