Peridot's POV

"Huh? What. Where am I?" I blurted out as I woke up.

I'm in a car?

I looked around and saw Lapis sleeping on the driver's seat.

Oh right.

I checked the time. 12:30 AM

Hm well I have to drive her home.
But I don't know where she lives anymore...
Maybe I could take her to my house?
Yep. Just for the night.

I carefully carried Lapis off the driver's seat and placed her on the passenger's seat.
She was really tired so the sudden move didn't wake her at all.
I then looked around to where we were and realized that my house was only a few more blocks away.

She must've tried getting me home first..

I started the engine and drove off.
While driving, the happenings earlier were soon brought back.
The movie, The arcade, The water park, The...Part where we almost kissed...

I wanted to kiss her badly..
But something inside me just wanted to refuse to that chance...
Sigh..
Why do I have to be so damn good lookin that people want to kill me. (I'm sorry Madrino1 I thought of this instead 😂)

We arrived at my place shortly..

I placed the car in my garage and closed the garage gate.

I unlocked the garage door and carried Lapis to my room.
I gently placed her on my bed and went back down to my garage to lock Lapis' Car.

I went back to my room and smiled.

She looks so cute when she sleeps...

I covered her with blankets and was about to leave when I felt a grip on my wrist.

"Sleep with me please..?" Lapis mumbled.

I sighed and closed the bedroom door.
Removed my shoes and plopped onto the bed.

I was about to fall asleep when a pair of arms hugged me from the back.

"I love you.." I heard Lapis say.

I love you too...
