17 hours and 15 minutes before The FINAL HOUR

     "When you guys where charging the batteries I went downstairs and found this."

Dave then showed her a VHS tape with yesterday's date and it had the words, WATCH THIS ALL OF YOU. It freaked out Mia a little but she said in her calmest voice possible,

"alright. We don't own a VHS tape, but we'll figure out something."

"My uncle has one maybe we could go over there."

"that's an idea we can use, we'll head over soon, but first I wanna get something to eat and restore the power."

They nod as she goes downstairs to restore the battery to the generator. It is a lot creepier going down their by herself, but Mia dismissed the feeling and put the batteries in inside the generator. She then pulls the cord to start it up the generator, the generator then sputtered before finally producing a whiring sound in which finally activated the power. Mia could hear cheers coming from upstairs and she smiled to herself at their excitement. She headed upstairs and goes back into the living room in doing so she is takcled by Grace, who then said,

"Thank GOD you fixed it! It was so COLD!" 

Mia giggled as Grace got of her, she was glad she could restore the power. "let's get something to eat." Mia says.  They all nod and follow her to kitchen, when they open the fridge they were all horrified.

"The food! There is hardly enough for one of us!" Grace says.

"What the hell! where did all the food go?" Dave says.

"this is strange..." Mia says. 

She then closes the door to the fridge and looks over at the kitchen table. All the papers where gone. 

"GUYs- I-I gonna go get my mom." Mia says with great trepidation. 

They nod as she heads up the stairs. As soon as she is out of their eye sight she ran up the stairs. She then busted in her mom's room hoping to see a very angry mother, but there was no one in the room. The lights were off and Mia was too discouraged to turn on the lights, and she began to search. She looked to see all her papers where gone. She went to her closet and found that most of her mother's things were gone. She then checked her drawers and found hardly and clothes. She then ran back to the closet and got on her hands on her knees and searched for her mothers suitcase. She felt the tears slide down her face as she searched the closet for her suitcase thoroughly. No luck. After she checked for for more various items that weren't there she wiped her tears and trudged back down the stairs,

"SO." grace starts.

"any luck..." Jane asks. 

"M-my Mom," Mia starts, "She's Gone."
