Guide

This is a kind of character sheet for the characters and aspects of my story. I will try to explain as much as I can about parts that couldn't be filled in the story itself.

(Hell)

The domain of demons. Hell does not refer to a singular place but a general location. There are several "layers" of Hell, but each layer is as big as a world in its own. More layers can come to exist in Hell, as proven by how there were only two in ancient times. The layers of Hell that came afterwords were actually fallen worlds.

Fallen worlds refer to worlds that have completely lost their faith and descended into depravity and sin. Only when both conditions are met and apply to literally everywhere of a world can the world be considered "fallen" and become part of Hell, which makes it incredibly easy for demons to conquer.

The two original layers of Hell were The Beginning of The End and Purgatory.

(Seven Sins)

The Seven Deadly Sins are not conceptional beings in a sense. The title of "Sin" is hereditary through defeating the current Sin in their specialty, gaining the position of that Sin and the powers with that position. Almost every Sin had its position taken by the next generation and the same happened to that generation from the next, and so on and so forth.

However, to be an "official" Sin, you would need to be a Demon. That is why, despite each defeating one of the Sins, both Genocide and Lucifer are considered "Unofficial" Sins.

As it stands, the positions of Wrath and Pride are left vacant without them around.

(Demon Lords)

The position of "Demon Lord" doesn't not require taking part in sealing Satan. It requires power -Beelzebub is an exception to this part-, fame, and to conquer one of the layers of Hell.

Theoretically, anyone, not just demons, can become a "Demon Lord". The position doesn't refer to "A a Demon that became a Lord", but to "A Lord of the Demon Domain".

Having subjects is not necessary. Neither Lucifer or Leviathan kept any, and Beelzebub's "subjects" were not alive.

(Asmodeus)

Asmodeus is technically the first Demon Lord. He is as old as Lucifer himself, and was the first demon to Master the art of combat and battle.

Unlike other demons, Asmodeus' joy came from the thrill of battle instead of simple forms sin. He was known by many named across history, such as "the Titan Slayer", for killing the first person to kill a Titan on his own, and the "Silver Calamity" by Heaven and Angels.

During the Ancient War between Heaven and Hell, Asmodeus was to the battlefield what Genocide is to demons.

(Armaggedon)

Asmodeus' weapon, created from the star that brought death to all prehistoric life.

From the time where the term "weapon" was used for any sharp object, club, claw, or fang. Armaggedon was the first truly forged weapon made for the purpose of battle, as such it was dubbed the "First True Weapon".

It is as old and as powerful as the name suggests.

(Lucifer)

The Morning Star, Lucifer. The angel that rebelled against his father and was sent to the underworld for it.

Lucifer hates demon-kind with passion, and believes they should all be exterminated, and in fact made several requests to restart the war against them for his father, only for all of them to be shut down.

He was quite fond of Genocide's work.

Asmodeus was the only exception. Despite the feeling not being mutual, Lucifer held respect for Asmodeus and saw him as the closest thing to a friend in his time at Hell.

(Leviathan)

The Leviathan, like Asmodeus, is one of the oldest Demons.

It is actually intelligent, but disregards any thoughts it occurs to it and only relies on instinct and habit. That is because the Leviathan has a strong, unshakeable belief that demons should embrace their monstrous nature and nothing else.

It somewhat admired Satan because it was a being of nature that only lived through instinct. However, it recognised Satan as a threat to itself, as such the Leviathan agreed to take part in sealing Satan.

(Beelzebub)

Beelzebub is the only exception to Demon Lords needing power. His danger lies in the way he uses magic. Necromancy, which he uses to create endless armies of expandable soldiers.

He was once a student of the Forger, which is where his burning desire to defeat the Forger began, and vowed to prove he was the best creator of weapons to ever exist.

Beelzebub was originally planning to betray the other Demon Lords and allow them to die in the battle against Satan. However, after witnessing Satan's power, he was do terrified to the point that he gave up on that idea, and instead focused on surviving, even if it meant working with the other Demon Lords.

(Titans)

Originally, they were called "Collidors", because of their way they are born. When two or more worlds get close to each other, a Collidor is born.

Their species are always hunted for their resources. A Collidor's entire body is potential resources. Their bones are stronger than any metal, their blood heals wounds, their skin can take on any temperature, and their veins can naturally conduct any form of magic. They can also adapt to any environment.

Quite literally any part of a Collidor can be used as a resource.

(The Forger)

The Forger is part of an ancient species that was made by the Creator to teach mortals the art of crafting and constructing.

The Forger's species is neither good nor evil. They only focus on their work, and disregard everything else. They never taken a side even during the Ancient War.

Many of the Forger's kind have vanished, with legends saying they all decided to "retire" and join the mortals in their every day life.

(Genocide)

Oscar gained many names in his journey. The White Beast and Genocide are his most iconic titles. The first one he gained after his armor made of Titan bones. He gained the second after killing every demon in one of the smaller circles of Hell.

The right arm and shoulder of Genocide's armor were damaged during his fight with Wrath. It originally looked perfectly even.

(Weapons)

Genocide's shotgun bares no name. It's not even truly a shotgun, but a weapon mean to send bursts of Crimson Nova energy that Genocide generates. Outside of Genocide, no weapon or being can contain the Crimson Nova energy for long before it is destroyed.

The Crimson Nova Cannon is a weapon made from a Titan's eye and veins. It siphons Crimson Nova energy directly from Genocide, but because of the nature of Crimson Nova energy, it cannot do that for long and needs a long time to cool down.

Before getting Rampage, Genocide used a sword made from Titan bones. The sword looked like a spine sharpened to be a blade but was actually Titan fangs lined up and welded together. That sword was destroyed during the battle with Wrath.

(Armor)

Genocide's armor is made entirely of Titan bones, crafted by the Forger.

The armor's core works both as a charger that uses Genocide's Crimson Nova energy to power up his weapons, and as a storage unit that stores said weapons. Even the armor itself can be stored in the core, making it take the form of a large, red necklace with a heavy chain.

(Rampage and Crusher)

Rampage and Crusher are originally weapons of Wrath.

Rampage, like the title and conceptional powers of Wrath, is a hereditary weapon that is given/taken by the new generation of Wrath. A sword that is never away from Wrath's grasp.

Crusher is one of the previous Wrath's gauntlets. Because Genocide didn't inherit the conceptional powers of Wrath, he uses the Gauntlet to call upon the sword.

(Astaroth and Bael)

The two ancient guards, Astaroth and Bael, were once servants under Asmodeus' command.

Bael was his royal court Mage, and Astaroth was one of his commanders.

Their duty was not to protect Satan. Instead, it was to keep annoyances away, because the Demon Lords were worried that, if annoyed enough, Satan would break free on its own.

Bael had served Asmodeus longer than Astaroth did, and was in fact the one who lead the construction for Asmodeus' Battle Arena, where Astaroth fought and proved himself worthy of being one of the guards.

If Astaroth had gone serious from the start instead of let his ego and ignorance get to him, he would have lasted longer against Genocide.

(Satan)

Destruction given form.

Satan is the opposite of the Creator and its enemy. It is both a Demon and nature in the form of destruction.
