Looking at her phone, Y/n was surprised to be a few minutes early after the shit show on the freeway. But, here she was, having to wait seven minutes before seeing her baby girl.

Leaning against the gate, Y/n scrolled through her phone, checking any e-mails she may have miss, which, were quiet a few, but weren't as important as the others. Most were just memes everyone sends each other, or suggestions for lunch places and the weekly meeting time. Which, haven't been changed in two years. Tuesday at 2 p.m. The only time Y/n wasn't able to get her daughter from school because they always ran over the time frame.

Hearing another set of heels, Y/n looked up and spied a beautiful brunette haired woman walking towards the gates as well. A blush comes to her cheeks, eyes snapping towards her phone, trying to busy herself with anything.

"Excuse me, I left my phone at work, do you mind telling the time?" Looking up, Y/n's surprised the beautiful woman is talking to her, so her reply isn't immediate.

"Uh, 3:14. Just a minute left." The woman in front of her smiles, thanking her.

But, the woman just got here two minutes before. She may have left her phone at work, but her car must have a clock. "Wait, does your car not have a clock?" This time, a blush comes across the woman's cheeks.

"Uh, you got me. I just wanted a reason to talk to you. I've seem you around before, but never got the courage to talk to you." Both women's cheeks are red, embarrassed for different reasons.

A long beep comes from the school, signaling school's over. Kids from different grades and ages come from classrooms, ready for home after a long day of pris- school. A long day of school.

"My name's Sam. Sam Arias." Y/n smiles, holding out her hand.

"I'm Y/n Y/l/n. Nice to meet you Sam."

"You as well, Y/n." The two shake hands, letting the hands linger together for a few minutes.

"Momma!"

"Mom!" The two women part ways when hearing their daughter's voices. Elizabeth runs into her mom's arms, as Ruby walks over, then hugs her mom.

The two asked their daughter's how school was, before looking up at each other. "Well, I'd love to talk to you again. May I ask your out for dinner?" Y/n's shocked, but smiles.

"I'd love coffee." Sam hands over a business card, but not before writing her personal number in it.

"I can't wait for your call, or text. Bye Y/n." Sam gives a wave to Elizabeth, then Sam and her daughter leave.

"Momma, you okay?" Y/n looks down at her innocent daughter, nodding.

"Yeah baby, mommy is just very gay."

"I'm glad your happy!" Y/n giggles, hugging her daughter as they make their way to the car. Maybe Sam is somebody to love.
