Request- Thunderstorm
(Requested by BlackMistPhantom, asked for a full powered Conor. And you shall get him. It's not much of a "feels" chapter but oopsie. This does not show the full range of his powers, more so just him in a casual battle. If he were serious, there would be a lot more here)
The female checked her phone again for the time, huffing at the time. Great, her brother was late again. Shoving her phone back into her jean pocket she pulled her curly, snow white hair out of her face and back into a pony tail. Her icy blue eyes scanned her surroundings, the park she was in open and expansive, the trees beautiful shades of red, orange, and yellow. A harsh, bitingly cold wind blew, causing her to shudder and pull her coat and scarf closer around her.
"You look cold," a voice said. Not recognizing it she looked up at the male. Clearly not her brother, the man had a grin on his face. His strange red hair was tipped in black, his bright green eyes staring at her. By his build he was clearly a lot stronger than her, as well as taller. She looked around warily, before back up at the guy.
"Not really, but thank you," she said as she pulled her phone back out. She saw him sit down right next to her, despite the entire bench being open.
"You sure?" He said with a singsong tone to his voice as he grinned, showing sharp canines. She looked up him over, realizing he wasn't human. As his grin grew wider his normal pupils switched to that of a cat's, the round black dots turning into mere slits.
"Yes, thank you. I'm waiting for someone," she said. With a huff the young adult got up and started walking away down the leaf covered pathway. She quickened her pace as she heard the male following her.
"Hey girly, I just wanna talk!" He called.
Is this man bothering you sis? A familiar voice spoke, seemingly carried on the wind as a sharp gust blew.
Yes. Can you get him to leave? She thought back.
Yup. Look up, the windy voice said. She did just that, a multiple winged figure hovering above them. The male must have followed her gaze, as he gave a laugh.
"Oh please, who's that? Your boyfriend?" The male taunted as he trotted up behind her, setting a burning hot hand on her shoulder. She gave a scowl and slapped his hand off her. He gave a surprised, almost hurt look, before his cocky grin returned.
Now would be a good time Conor! The white haired female linked her brother urgently. On cue the wind picked up, light at first, before speeding up to whipping gusts within seconds. The black and red haired male looked up at the hovering silhouette, shivering.
Conor, the white haired woman's brother landed between the two. He wasn't the tallest person, only around 5'10 in height but with a decent athletic form to him. Four silver wings flared out from his back, the skin a metallic silver yet as supple as the rest of his skin. A whiplike silver tail lashed from his lower back, a small rudder like tip at the end of the tail. Two silver horns graced his head through his tousled blonde hair, his light green eyes trained on the harassing figure.
"Oh, what? What is this?" The taller male growled as some plumes from his chattering teeth and nose. The white haired female gave an innocent smile as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"I'll give you a few seconds to skedattle," Conor said as he pushed the other male back, causing him to curse and stagger a little. "Dragon," he added with a huff, his four wings twitching. His eyes lit up in a hypnotizing blue green glow as he looked over the male, his aura appearing before only him in harsh shades of red and black, a few wisps of blue and green swirling underneath. The aura flared into giant spikes as the dragon's anger only rose at being pushed.
"Or what? Are you challenging me twerp?" He scowled, his attention no longer on Izzy. Conor nodded his head coolly. "You dare challenge a dragon?" The male hissed, the aura flaring further as the spikes of anger grew to a decent size. Without warning he rushed forward, a massive scaly claw tearing through his hand with a sickening crunching noise as he slashed towards the winged Conor.
Conor leapt to the side, his wings tilting to catch the wind he created to push him out of harm's way. The sky suddenly grew dark as thunderstorms gathered overhead, a bright flash of lightning splitting the sky followed by the thunderous roar of thunder.
The dragon growled as his body became coated in iron hard scales as he charged at Conor again, the smaller figure ducking under the attack. One of his wings swept under the infuriated dragon, taking his feet and his balance with him. He landed with a thud on the ground, a growl ripping from his throat as he hurried back up.
"Fight me you coward!" He roared. Conor gave a smug little grin as his wings lifted his light frame into the air, a strong gust of icy wind smacking the dragon and staggering him off balance.
"You started it," Conor said bluntly as the wind howled, thunder cracking through the air along with a flash of light. An inhuman roar ripped through the dragon as a flash of dragonfire blotted out his form. A scaly beast lunged forward with power and grace, jaws agape to show his serrated teeth.
He's got some anger issues don't you think Iz? Conor linked, flapping out of the way of the dragon's jaws. He grunted as the dragon's muscular wing collided with him, sending him tumbling a few feet towards the ground before he regained his balance.
Conor stop showing off. Im cold, wet, and I honestly just want to go now, Izzy linked back irritably. The massive dragon whirled around midair and swiped his massive black talons at Conor. A powerful gust of air knocked the dragon to the side with ease, sending the graceful creature to the ground.
Should I knock him out? Conor linked as he hovered easily, the swirling whipping winds doing nothing to off balance his graceful flight. He watched as the dragon got back up, his eyes aglow with his fury as he roared again.
Please do, Izzy linked back, her heavy Irish accent doing nothing to hide the annoyance she felt. Conor held up a hand as he looked at the dragon, before closing his fist. He watched as the black and red beast took off from the ground, his wings fluttering in the air a little before be was forced to land again.
The large dragon wheezed as his sides heaved to try and to draw in breath. Conor landed lightly on the wet grass, the clouds above slowly dispersing to a light overcast. He tilted his head to the side as the dragon wobbled before coalescing onto his side, struggling to breathe.
"What...have you...done..." he rasped out. Conor watched as the anger spikes in his aura slowly faded, dulling down to the geometric shapes of fear. The blonde haired male gave a little smile.
"Nothing serious. Just lowered the air density to the point where you'll be peacefully asleep in a few minutes," he said. Even as he spoke the dragon's eyes slowly closed, his breathing slowing down. The fear in his aura vanished to the calming ripples of serenity, something Conor usually only saw in someone when they were asleep. He gave a little wave of his hand, the air density returning to normal around the now passed out dragon.
"Are you done?" Izzy said as she walked over, her arms around herself.
"Yeah. I don't think he's going to bother you any more," Conor said. Izzy scowled at him moodily, her coat soaked through with the rain. The clouds above dispersed, the rain vanishing with it and the autumn sun shining through once again. He made a hand motion, the moisture drawing out from her coat and dropping onto the ground.
"Showoff," Izzy muttered as she turned to walk off. Conor gave a playful little pout as his dragon like features vanished while he trotted to catch up with his sister.
