We were sat in the uber together and I just looked at Techno. He wasn't acting himself. He looked... Not stressed... More upset? God why won't he just tell me why. I stayed in the spare room next to his room last night incase he needed me. And he did. He came to me crying his eyes out but wouldn't tell me why. I'm really worried he's not up for this. We were almost at the hotel. The whole journey was... Silent. Nothing like it would normally be. Techno was a pretty loud person and I thought this would be more entertaining. Let's just say... It wasn't great. We soon arrived at the hotel. Techno payed for the uber and we walked in together. As soon as we got into the room, we saw there was a singular double bed. That didn't bother me too much. I look at Techno and sigh.

"Are you going to tell me what's up or are you going to say nothing?" I say, gently but slightly harshly.

"I-... I suppose I better tell you." He said, clear fear in his voice.

"Hey, I didn't mean to scare you..."

I go and sit on the bed with him next to me. He puts his head on my shoulder. He sighs as I run my fingers through his long hair.

"I met this child when I was younger. Their name was Jack... Basically... We grew up together after I had ran away from the Royal life I was supposed to have. We met Dream in the forest. But I watched them... Jack... They..."

"Shhhh. Take your time Techno. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."

"No.. You deserve to know... Your my friend, my best friend in fact... You should know..."

I look at him and he looks at me. I wipe the tears off his face. He puts on the worst fake smile I've ever seen. He looks at me in the eyes and he cuddles into me, getting comfortable. I look at his and giggle slightly.

"Why are you giggling Dan?"

"Just you getting comfortable and being really soft compared to normal Technoblade."

"Shut up..."

"Anyways want to finish the story or just stay like this?"

"Can we just stay like this?"

"Of course!"

Techno just stayed there as he let me run my fingers through his hair. After a while he got up and made himself a coffee and me a tea. We drank our hot drinks in silence. I looked over at Techno and realised he was in deep thought and was very zoned out. He suddenly came back to his senses and finished his cold coffee. I take his mug and put it on the side with mine. He looks at me and smiles.

"Dannnnn?"

"Yes Techno?"

"Can we have bro cuddles? No homo though?"

"I-"

"Pleaseeeee"

"If it'll make you feel better. And you also sound like a needy girlfriend right now."

"I do not!"

"Your really do."

He pouted before we had our bro cuddles and I checked my phone. Dream and George were boasting about how they were going to win. I then received a message from Dream...

Dream: Dan? Techno? You guys ok?

Dan: Yep all good.

Dream: I hadn't heard from you two recently that's all.

Dan: Techno is asleep next to me right now so yeah.

George: Did he ask for no homo bro cuddles??

Dan: Yes he did and he sounded like a needy girlfriend too.

Sapnap: SERIOUSLY?!

Dan: Yes.

Dream: I-

Sapnap: I think we just lost George and Dream.

Dan: Yeah and you've lost me too.

Sapnap: Huh?!

I look at Techno. He was asleep but tears were rolling down his face. His eyes shoot open and he hugs into me. I hug him back to calm him and sigh. He looked at me, confused. He looks at me, wanting answers.

"Hey Techno?"

"Yeah?"

"Are you sure your up to do this tournament?"

Also thought I'd spice the POV up since writing as Techno was getting boring. The next chapter will most likely be at least 2 different POVs, but I will start with Dan so it's less confusing. Ok goodbye now.
