Gasping, I jolt up from the bed, shocked at how real the dream felt. I've been having the same dream for the past three years, since I turned eighteen, and I don't know why. Sometimes it feels so real that it's hard to focus on anything else for the rest of the day. Other times I wake up, barely remembering what happened. It's the same every time. I'm surrounded by three dark figures. They each state I belong to them. Then they tell me to come home, just before biting me, sucking my blood just as vampires do. The worst part about it? I like it! The pain, the feeling of belonging to them, along with the feeling that shoots through my body every time I have the dream. If I told anyone from my pack, they'd kill me for such blasphemy. My pack despises vampires more than most. Dad walks in and tells me to close my eyes, leading me somewhere.
