GRACIES POV

The cliff was so tempting. It was beckoning to me, calling for me, reaching out to me. It drove me crazy, dipping me head first into madness, testing and stretching my will to live until it was almost non existent.
Who would've known a cartoon song would have cheered me on. It was something that was most soothing to me.
(Something that needs to be clarified. The Phoenix cast a spell to make Gracie calm but she didn't realize it was effective for everyone around her. Anyone in earshot would hear their own soothing sound.)

It was a song that came from one of my favorite cartoons: Steven Universe.

I was prepared to do anything. Even if it were to die. But dying didn't solve my problem.

Even though sometimes it may be the answer.

Should my sword fail, I'll know I fought to make an effort. I'll know that I protected someone.
