I'm starting to get really impatient as I really want the english dub to catch up to the japanese subbed episodes of Naruto shippuden because I am tired of reading what happens, I want to hear it! LOL

I woke up the next morning in an unfamiliar room trying to remember how I got there. I thought back to last night and remembered talking with Deidara and then how he carried me back to the base and realized I must have fallen to sleep in his warm embrace while listening to the soothing beat of his heart. I blushed at the thought and then wondered what time it was. I looked outside and realized the sun was rising and decided I would get up and get ready to meet Itachi for training. I walked past a snoring Deidara and into the bathroom to get showered and changed. I stood relaxing under the warmth of the water, soothing my aching muscles while I watched the water turn red with my dried blood from the day before. After about ten minutes, I finally decided I should get out. I dried myself off and then looked in the mirror. My insomnia has definitely taken it's toll on me as my eyes had big black bags underneath them and my skin was as white as snow, how any one thought me attractive was beyond  me. I eventually got very depressed looking at my reflection so looked away and started to get dressed. I exited the bedroom and saw Deidara still sleeping in his bed snoring and acting like a typical teen. I smiled at the scene and quickly exited the room quietly and walked outside to meet Itachi with my hair still wet and dripping.

"When I said meet tomorrow morning I wasn't expecting you to be up so soon. You could have at least taken time to dry your hair before coming, I wouldn't have killed you for it" I turned to see the raven haired Uchiha who looked so much like his brother. He still looks so damned familiar though, argh! I wish I could remember where I have seen him before.

"Yeah well I don't sleep well and my hair will dry quicker outside in the wind than waiting for it to dry inside" I simply stated and he nodded in reply.

"From your display yesterday I can see you have amazing skill in ninjutsu and can use hand signs at an abnormally fast rate. However, your stamina, strength, speed and taijutsu are nothing to be proud of, so we should really start with those. That being said I am also very interested in perfecting you genjutsu which you seem to have a talent for, so I think we will work on that first for today" I nodded in reply feeling relieved that we didn't have to work on strength, stamina and speed as I hated those exercises back in the leaf village. "Show me the genjutsu you used on Kisame yesterday" I nodded and took a breath before starting the hand signs and used my wolf genjutsu on him. Of course being an Uchiha and being in posession of the Sharingan it took him mere seconds to break it. "It still needs work, but it's pretty impressive. Before I can show you how to improve it, you must be able to know how to break a genjutsu and to do that you need to figure out how a genjutsu works" I nodded and waited for him to continue. "A genjutsu is basically when you disrupt someones' normal chakra flow and so the only logical way to break one is to fix ones' chakra flow by sending out an immense amount of chakra that is stronger than the chakra used to put you under the genjutsu in the first place, got it?"

"Umm I think so" I finally spoke.

"Well then let's see if you do actually get it. I will  put you under a genjutsu and you will have to break it. This will be hard and can cause psychological damage so it's up to you if you are willing to try. Remeber, I won't be affected by it as I will be the one casting it"

"I want to try" I replied determined, I mean how bad can it be? Itachi nodded then told me he would begin and suddenly the surroundings started to disappear as the scene around me changed. I looked around and saw my father, he was telling me a story while my mother started to cook dinner. Suddenly my little brother started crying and father was about to get up, but I told him to stay while I entered the room to comfort him. "Shh, what's wrong, huh?" I was only six and he was four.

"The monsters are coming to get mwe" he said between sobs. I started to check around the place for monsters and came up to him smiling.

"I think I scared them away so they can't hurt you anymore, ok?" 

"But what if vey get me when you're gone?" he replied with a terrified look in his eyes.

"I will never leave your side. I will always protect you, I would give my life for your safety. I love you" I said and bent down to kiss his forehead and then rubbed his hair to sooth him.

"I wove you too Onee-san!" he jumped up hugging round my neck tightly and then laying back down smiling before closing his eyes and falling into a deep slumber.

Suddenly I was in the middle of a forest searching frantically around for someone. "Sukooto" I yelled tears brimming in my eyes. "Sukooto" I screeched. I heard a frightened cry and ran in its direction. I finally stopped at a clearing, there I saw two of the ten tall, intimidating men in masks who had tried to take me away two years ago. They had my brother and held a kunai by his throat. He was in tears begging me to help him and I froze in fear.

"You had better come with us this time girl or your precious brother will die"

"No please! Don't hurt him! I will do anything you want"

"Your clan is very hard to find young one, they have split up and hidden themselves all over the world and any of the ones' we did find couldn't help us as they had already used their kekkai genkai, but then we found you and we just have to have you. You haven't wasted your kekkai genkai yet" I looked shocked and horrified. "What is it little girl? Are you afraid?"

"N-no, I.."

"Spit it out!"

"I already did use it on someone!" I cried tears streaming down my face in fear.

"DAMN IT! She's no use to us now get rid of her"

"Can't we just take her brother?" the other one finally spoke.

"No! Only the girls in the Nyoko clan have the kekkai genkai". The other one nodded and was about to slice my brother neck when I threw a rock knocking the kunai out of his hand. I lunged forward as he was about to throw my brother of the edge of a cliff. He let go and I jumped after him and everything went black. I awoke in a hospital bed listening to the doctor telling my sobbing parents that I was lucky to be alive, but that my brother didn't make it. I burst into tears and started hyperventilating turning everything black. I was now in front of my father's new house, on my knees in tears.

"Father, please help me, I have nowhere else to go! Mother's dead and I have no home to go back to" I sobbed.

"You dare ask me to help you when you just let your brother die? I don't care what your pathetic grief stricken mother said, it should have been you, not him! You're just an abomination that feels and copies everyone else's feelings and personalities. I can never love you" he said spitefully, spitting out the venomous words.

"Please! You're my father!.."

"I have no daughter!" he replied throwing me some cash. "It's all I can afford right now. Leave and never come back here again, understand?" and with that he slammed the door in my face leaving me a wreck on his front porch. Once again the scene changed, it was raining and I was at my mother's grave on my knees weeping. I was beyond skinny and was to weak to stand. Eventually I just laid down beside my mother's grave hugging her red jacket and clinging to life. No I'm not weak, not anymore. This illusion stops now! Before I could see anything else, I was snapped back to reality. I had almost forgot this was a genjutsu, it was just so strong. I was on the ground gripping my trousers sobbing bitter tears. The memories I tried so hard to forget flooding back to me. My heart felt empty and cold, I felt unbelievably alone and hated myself for being so weak to allow my family to break apart. It was my fault. If I hadn't been born none of it would have happened. I looked up to see a very startled Itachi.

"How.. How did you do that? What did you do to me?" he suddenly bent down and gripped my shoulders. "Are you really that girl from the woods? What kind of jutsu was that?" he raised his voice in disbelief at the last part. It was then I finally recognised him, he was the boy who helped me in the woods that day. When walking home ten men surrounded me saying I had a big bounty on my head and that the person paying them wanted me alive and that I was to come with them or they would use force. I became very frightened and tried to run away, but one of the men grabbed my waist and held me up in the air.

"Look here boys we've got a feisty one!" he smirked evilly at me, his cold dead eyes boring into mine and his horrid warm breath hitting my face making me feel so scared that I froze in the spot. I just kicked in the air hoping to hit him.

"Let me go!" I yelled managing to kick him in the face. He yelled out in pain and gripped his nose still holding on to me.

"You bitch!" he shouted then slapped me across the face. "I'm gonna make you pay!" he growled.

"P-P-Please, d-don't" I whispered barely audible, tears streaming down my now burning red cheek.

"What was that brat?" the one grabbing me smirked.

"Please, leave me alone" I sobbed a little louder this time.

"How pathetic she's crying now. Does the little baby want her mummy?" he asked in a mocking tone while everyone else laughed. Suddenly cries of pain erupted from one of the men as he disappeared into the shadows. "What was that?" the man had stopped grinning now and was very panicked.

"What's pathetic is that ten men are picking on a four-year old girl" said a boy about ten or eleven as he jumped in front of the man and kicked him back catching me before I fell. He jumped behind a tree and told me to stay there. I did as I was told and only came out when I heard the remaining two men run off. I walked out from behind the tree to see my saviour standing watching them flee. Suddenly he dropped to the ground and grunted in pain. I looked in horror to see not one, but two of his vital spots were hit and he was now coughing up blood. He lay down on the ground gripping his wounds and clenching his jaw in pain.

"I'm so sorry" I whispered, tears streaming down my face. "You should have just let them take me!" I yelled a little louder.

He just smirked and said, "Now what kind of Shinobi would I be if I did that?"

I was still in so much shock all I could utter out was the words "Thank you". He just smiled and hit my forehead with two fingers pushing me back.

"You remind me of my little brother" he laughed "Never goes down without a fight. Always so enthusiastic". He looked seriously at me now, "You must go inform the Hokage what happened. It is very important he knows" I nodded and with that he took his last breath.

"NOO!" I screeched. He was too pure to die, now wasn't his time, it can't have been. I then without thinking put my hands over his heart and they started glowing a vibrant light red colour and I started to feel dizzy. My head spun and I collapsed, but before everything went dark I watched the young boy's eyes flutter open in surprise and with that followed the darkness.

I looked up to the shaken Uchiha and simply stated "That wasn't a jutsu, it was my kekkai genkai. It allows me to be connected to every living thing on this planet. I can feel what they feel and can understand people easily. It's because of this that I was so good at connecting with people and could get information out of them when I was in the interrogation unit. However, I can also give half of my soul to anyone who I please. It will stop them from dying or bring them back to life provided they have died  recently, the cost is that the two become connected emotionally and physically. If you get injured I will feel it and if I get injured you feel the pain. The user feels the pain to a far greater extent than the person who it was used on and when you die I die. Don't worry though if I die you will just feel a small amount of the pain I felt at the time of death, but will continue on living. I'm sorry if you hate me for it, I just couldn't let you die". He looked at me still not sure what to say, but whispered a thank you. I then I hugged him tightly still feeling the emptiness of the loss of my family. He suddenly came back to reality and hugged me back. "I can't believe your father would do that to you, that teme!" he muttered angrily.

"He was right though. I destroyed my family! Because I was weak my brother died, I broke my promise that I would protect him with my life; I lied to him. Since I was too weak my mother and father started arguing all the time and my father eventually left us for another woman and started a new family. Because I was so weak my mother died. It was all my fault, I ruined their lives" I bawled into his cloak as he started running his hand through my hair and pulling me closer to him.

"It's not your fault, don't hate yourself. You did far more than any six year old would have. It was disgusting what your father said, he shouldn't have blamed you. You were too young to defend yourself against two full-grown men and you were even willing to jump off a cliff to save your little brother. You were very strong and brave" he said in his normal calming tone. I instantly pushed away from the hug wiping my tears and started to get up. Itachi announced that was enough training for one day and with that I went inside to get something to eat.
