In a flat, a girl was dancing to the tunes of her favorite song "Sab Tera". She seemed happy as it was her day off. She seemed to wait for someone. Her trance was broken by her phone ring. She picked up the call, and it was her best friend. Her face fell off hearing her friend.

"Huh! Aaj ki hi chutti mili thi yar. This isn't fair." she complained.

"Okay! I'm coming! Near central park. " she said and disconnected the call.

She sighed. She had planned a day out with her friend. But her friend denied to come, instead she called her to meet her at the central park. She changed, and left the flat.

She is Priyanka Khanna, a senior manager in a top multi national company. Her friend was Ruhana Khatri, who was also on the same post. These two had taken out time to spend, but Ruhana asked her to meet somewhere else.

Priyanka reached at the meeting spot, but she couldn't find her friend anywhere. She stamps her foot on the ground and looks around. The environment was cloudy. Cool winds were making the environment pleasant. She was surprised with a tap on her shoulder. She turned back to look at the person, but was surprised to see someone she didn't expect.

He was Dushyant Singh, the team leader of her office. She was good friends with him, or it will be better to say that she had a secret crush on him. But what is he doing here? She was supposed to meet her best friend, Ruhana here.

"Sir, what are you doing here?" she asked.

"I can ask you the same." he asked folding his arms across his chest.

Priyanka looked around, maybe looking for her friend. Here, her crush was in front of her, his gaze fixed on her and she couldn't say a word. Her eyes were fixed on the ground,maybe she was blushing with his mere gaze. Her reverie was broken by a loud voice. It was suddenly dark, Dushyant and Priyanka gazed at each other, when he held her hand...

"It's going to rain. There's a cafe nearby, let's go." he said and started leading her way.

Priyanka is surprised and finds herself following Dushyant. For her, it seemed to be a dream come true. She always adored him. She could watch him forever,he was a beautiful sight to her eyes. In the office, if anyone would hear Dushyant, it would be Priyanka. Ruhana used to tease her with his name, and she would just chid her and ask her to stop teasing.

Her trance was broken, when they entered a cafe. It was already drizzling by then. A smile quirked up her lips.

"It's monsoon! Why are we here?" she asks her beloved senior, who just smiles in response.

"It's not your home Priya!" he said.

She looked at him. Did he just called her Priya? A chuckle escaped her lips. He always addressed her as Miss Khanna or by her name, Priyanka. And today, he's being surprising. She looks around and finds that there are only a few people in the cafe. Also, she finds Dushyant looking at her. In a friction of seconds, he tugs on his hand...

"Come on, i got a surprise for you." he said.

"Surprise?" she was equally surprised,as he wasn't that kind of a person.

Her phone beeped with a message. She opens it up and finds a message from Ruhana.
It read...

"I sent a surprise package for you. Hope you enjoy your date."

Priya aka Priyanka was surprised. Was it her plan to make her meet? What is the surprise that Dushyant is talking about? Does he feels the same way as her? No! This can't happen. He was a serious kinda guy. What would make him come there? Did Ruhana do something? She wanted to be angry on her friend but was internally happy that she was getting time to be with the person whom she adored, or say, she loved him.

There was a tug on her hand and she comes back from her reverie. She finds Dushyant standing in front of her.

"kahan khoyi hui ho? Chalo mere sath." he said softly.

"Par kahan? Aap aise baat kar rahe hai jaise you've decided everything already." she says looking at him.

He smiles, ah! A smile she could adore all her life. She was a little lost now.

"Come with me Priya. You'll get to know everything soon." he said.

She is excited to know what he has in store for her. He is himself the surprise packet, that her friend was mentioning. And then something coming from him, will be really special for her. She follows her beloved guy and they climb up the stairs. It was a rooftop cafe with some rooms on one side. It was drizzling and the crisp winds had made the environment pleasant. The place was beautifully decorated with dim lights and there was Noone around. Priya was now getting conscious about what Dushyant had to say to her.

For a few minutes, they were watching the rain with pleasant smiles on their faces. She turned towards him...

"Why are we here? I mean are we here to talk about something. Ruhana didn't turn up today." she complained.

He smiles at her innocent complains. He's lost in that smile of hers. He's watching her keenly, maybe he hasn't seen her and now they are all alone and together too. He reaches for her hand making her surprised. Her heart skips a beat as he looks into her eyes. Her eyes have so many questions. She looks on, maybe he speaks now.

"priya, i want to say something." he speaks briefly.

She looks at him keenly. Why is he stuttering? Is there anything that he,Dushyant Singh can't speak? That too, to a girl. She's alone with him. He's not speaking anything, she's looking forward to the surprise Dushyant holds for her. She's lost in her thoughts when she feels a grip on her hand. She looks at him..

"I heard your birthday is around the corner." he asked.

"Yes! Ruhana must have told you. Right?" she asks.

"Yeah! And i thought it's the perfect time to..." he pauses and looks at her.

"perfect time! For what?" she asked baffled by his words.

Dushyant flashes his cute smile, obviously making her heart skip a beat.

"I don't know how to say it. Afterall it's the first time... I Mean I'm pouring out my feelings." he speaks.

Priyanka looks at him, she's not getting what Dushyant wants to speak.

"Ruhana kehti hai main kisi se kuch nahi keh sakta." he speaks.

"Sahi toh kehti hai wo. Aap kuch nahi kehte. Na sunte." priya replies.

"You're right. Kabhi Socha hi nahi itna deeply." he said.

"Sochna chahiye. Apart from work, we have many beautiful things in the world, who deserve to be in your thoughts." priya said looking at him.

He smiles...

"yeah like you." he says.

She is surprised, does he think the same way she does for him. Is he saying that she's the one to be in his thoughts. She finds herself smiling and blushing, though Dushyant hadn't said a word that he liked her or not. His deep voice hit her ears

"i know you've got so many questions.I'm not sure even, but I wanted to tell you that you really matter to me." he says softly.

Priya has no idea where this is heading to. He did said she matters to him, but is it so? Her trance is broken and she finds Dushyant on his knees

" I know you adore me, you care for me. Even i do. But i wasn't accepting it. But now i want to. I love you Priya!" he confesses.

She looks at him. Did he really said so. She expected to say him those three words, and it was happening for real now. Her Happiness knew no bounds. Happy tears leak down her eyes. She takes hold on his hands and makes him stand up.

" I love you too... Na Jaane kabse. But i do. Isse acha birthday gift kuch nahi ho sakta." she says.

Dushyant now slids a ring in her finger that is a platinum love ring. She's elated and she hugs him tightly. It seemed that weather turned happy for them. Priya runs on to the terrace feeling the rain. It was first time when she was with Dushyant and it was first rains for them after they just confessed their love.

She pulls him in the rains. He rests his hands on her waist, as she locks her arms around his neck. She looks into his eyes, lost in the moment. Dushyant pulls her closer such that their faces are a few inches apart. Before she could speak anything, he entangled her lips with his, intensifying the moment.

They were drenched in the rain, but it didn't bother them. They broke the kiss when they were breatheless. She hides herself in his arms, and they continue enjoying the rains together.
