The hours of the day has passed into night. Many of the vampires are ready for the night while others are still waking up or sleeping in Vampdom. In the castle Rosiepuff walks over to Poppy's room. The elder is already dressed in his causal clothes and his favorite res cloak. The purple skinned vampire knocks on the door several times but, to his surprise no answer. The grandfather knocks one more time as he talks through the door.

" Poppy? Are you in there? Are you awake?",Rosiepuff calls out.

Still no answer making Rosiepuff feel like he should just open the bedroom door. The male vampire takes a hold of the door handle and slowly pushes it forward but,when the man sees the a little messy and empty bed he is surprised. He thought Poppy would still be in here.

" He must had got up earlier...",Rosiepuff guesses to himself.

Then Rosiepuff closed the bedroom and walks off slowly to check his precious and good granddaughter. She should be up or getting up by now. Little did Rosiepuff know that Branch isn't alone in her bed like she normally would be. Soon Rosiepuff reaches Branch's bedroom door but, when opening the door while saying " Princess,are you awake?" he is immediately stopped in his motion by the sight in front of him! He sees Poppy sleeping Branch's bed with Branch!

Poppy and Branch are sleeping close together snuggling each other as their arms and legs are tangled. Branch's face is buried in Poppy's neck as Poppy holds her close nesting his head above and close to hers comfortably on the pillow. Branch and Poppy are in the middle of the bed. Branch's blanket is covering most of them up. The two friends are sleeping quietly. Both their hair is messy from moving in their sleep.

The former king raises an eye at them while his expression becomes serious and seems like he is scaning the scene with his eyes. Rosiepuff can see part of the sleeping shirt but, that isn't too important to him. The grandfather looks at the floor to check for pants or any piece of clothing but, finds none whatsoever. It still didn't mean to Rosiepuff that Poppy didn't sexual touch his virgin granddaughter's body!

Rosiepuff looks back up at Poppy and Branch still sleeping away in the queen size bed. The very old man notices Branch move into Poppy more snuggling his body as if he was her giant teddy bear. Rosiepuff isn't the type of parent and grandparent who tells his child and grandchild who they can date and what their allowed to do but, he is still protective of Branch even know she is not a little innocent baby girl anymore!

The elder doesn't know for sure nothing really happened or not but, he makes a decision in that moment. If something did happen when he was sleeping then it's too late now to prevent it but, Rosiepuff isn't just going to leave it alone without asking about this... Then the former king slowly and quietly closes the bedroom and walks away still thinking about how cozy Branch and Poppy are being with each other.

After an half hour Branch and Poppy are just starting to wakeup unaware of how they looked to Rosiepuff. Poppy let's out small yawn with his eyes closed as Branch slowly removes her head from crook of his neck. They both feel content from their sleep and the innocent snuggling. The two sleepy vampires open their eyes slowly with their faces facing each other. Branch's head is angled up while Poppy's head is angled down.

As their vision becomes less blurry they notice their snuggle partner then the position their in. The pink vampire smiles simply content and sheepishly at Branch as they both blush at the close contact. Branch blushes even more at Poppy smiling at her. This is an unexpected situation since they both don't remember snuggling each other when they fell asleep. They actually are enjoying this but,their not gonna admit that right now.

" hmm... Good Night,Poppy?",Branch says sheepishly.

" Good Night,Branch...",Poppy replies back softly.

The two friends then try to untangle themselves from each other but,it is tricky to do. They don't even know how they got here in this snuggling position. After they finally manage to untangle themselves Branch and Poppy both removed their warmth from each other as they both got out of bed. Removing their warmth didn't feel nice but, neither of them said a thing to each other about it.

Moments later Poppy and Branch are both dressed in clean clothes and are ready for breakfast. The two vampires walk into the dining room seeing Rosiepuff waiting patently for them. Rosiepuff is sitting in the same place as last night. Breakfast is already served and is still hot. Neither of them notice how the grandpa is looking at them.

" Night you two...",Rosiepuff says blankly.

" Night Grandpa. ",Branch greets happily.

" Good Night Rosiepuff. ",Poppy greets happily and innocently.

The two young vampires sit down next to each other just like they did last night. The plates sitting in front of them has waffles and their simple glasses are filled with orange juice. Branch grabs a bowl of mixed berries and puts some on her waffles with a spoon. Poppy grabs the syrup bottle and pours it all over his waffles. Rosiepuff just watches them as he picks up one of his berries with his fork.

" Did you both sleep well this morning?",Rosiepuff asks blankly.

" Well not at first but, after waking up and going back to sleep for a second time it was good.",Branch says honestly.

" I actually couldn't fall asleep for a while but, when I did had no problems. ",Poppy says honestly.

Rosiepuff looks at them still thinking Branch and Poppy did something but, it isn't what he thinks. He eats his berry still looking at the younger vampires. Poppy takes a bite of his syrup covered waffle. Branch picks up her glass of orange juice and starts drinking it.

" Funny thing happened earlier. When I went to check on you,Poppy, you weren't in your room but, when went to Branch I found you both in there very close together...",Rosiepuff says implying something.

Branch spits out her orange juice as Poppy choke on his food for a second! They both knew what Rosiepuff was implying! Their faces deepen with blush. Poppy swallows the piece of food dumbfounded as Branch looks at her grandpa completely shocked! They didn't know that Rosiepuff came to check on them! Now they embarrassed but,not cause of their act of snuggling! They feel embarrassed by how Rosiepuff implied they did something they never did!

" Grandpa! Poppy didn't take my virginity! ",Branch says flustered and embarrassed.
