11. Passing out

Finally, just a few more days and the shootings would be over. Luckily, after that event with Lee Know and Annie, nothing too troublesome happened.

Those two weeks were filled with the girls practicing, creating songs and doing missions. Jaein had recorded a commercial too, but that was it.

Maybe because of Annie's sudden habit change, she had been feeling a bit sick for the whole day and hadn't been able to sleep properly for the past 3 days. Still, it's not like she'd be willing to tell anyone about it.

"Okay! We're finished for the day! Well done, everyone."

The leader announced and the other three breathed heavily on the ground.

"What time is it?"

Asked the youngest.

"9:31 p.m. We finished quite early today."

"Should we stay a bit more?"

Annie suggested, receiving glares as answers.

"Okay, okay! You guys can leave, then. I wanna practice for a little longer."

She got up and grabbed a water bottle.

"Are you sure?"

  Jaein questioned and she nodded.

"I'll go take a shower then I'm heading to the studio."

  Boram also got up.

"Oh, come on! Are you all staying?"

Remi whined, as she really wanted to go home and sleep.

"I'll go with you, I'm hella tired."

The oldest spoke.

"See you!"

Two hours later, Annie decided to leave and try to compose something - it's not like she'd be able to sleep if she went home anyway.

After taking a shower, she walked around the hallways for a few minutes, there were quite a few people at the company yet, mainly trainees.

"You're still here?"

Asked Lee Know when they met in the kitchen.

"No, I'm an illusion, so just pretend I'm not here and do your thing."

She replied while getting a cup of tea.

"Tea? I thought all producers drank coffee."

  Annie stared weirdly at him.

Is he trying to start a normal human conversation?

"I'm allergic."

"To coffee!? How do you live!?"

He nearly yelled, making the girl chuckle lightly.

"I drink it every once in a while."

"Even though you're allergic?"

  She nodded.

"Are you stupid?"

And there he is.

"Drinking coffee is for stupid people? Oh! Is that why you have it every day??"

  Annie smiled sarcastically.

"Shut up."

  He frowned.

"You started it."

"I was trying to have a proper conversation."

"Calling me stupid?"

  She raised an eyebrow.

"I didn't call you stupid, I asked if you were stupid, but I now have my answer."

"Fuck you."

Annie whispered, getting her cup and sitting down.

"Oh~ I'm sure that camera right there loved to record that~"

Lee know teased, looking at the device.

"You said it yourself, they won't put us fighting on the program."

The girl answered calmly, but deep inside she was nervous about it.

"How are you so sure?"

He sat down in front of her.

"I'm not."

Annie sighed. She had no energy to fight. Her body was feeling heavy, her breath was unsteady and her eyes were hurting.

"Why do you look so dead?"

"Because I am, now can you please shut up?"

She rested her head on the table and the room got silent.

Lee Know stared at the girl in silence, surprised she wasn't fighting back, but also a little worried.

Almost 10 minutes passed and none of them had spoken a word.

"If you're so tired you should go home, the kitchen isn't meant for sleeping."

  He commented.

"Are you really sleeping??"

He asked again after getting no answer.

"Hey. Idiot."

His tone changed to a more concerned one.

"Wake up!"

Minho kicked her feet under the table, but no answer.

"What the hell? Haerim! Ahn Haerim, wake up!"

The boy got up and shook her.

"Shit. Who do I call?? Chan! Chan's still here."

Not wanting to lose any more time, he ran to his leader's studio.

Why is there so much noise? God, why is it so hot?

  Slowly, Annie opened her eyes.

"I fell asleep? Here?"

  She looked around.

"And she said she was dead but I thought she was joking but then she slept and she isn't waking up and-"

The two males stopped at the sight of a younger girl looking lost on her seat.

"You were saying?"

  Chan asked with a smile.

"Why the hell are you up!?"

Annie didn't answer as she was still half sleeping.

"Are you okay?"

"Uh? Uh."

She replied, walking towards the two.

"Was that a prank? Why would you joke with somethin- Hey!"

The girl fell on his arms.

"Don't yell at her, she must be really tired."

Bang Chan spoke with a laugh.

"I think she has a fever."

Minho said after pushing her a few centimeters away.

"Eh?? I thought she was taking care..."

Chan's smile dissapeared when he looked at the girl.

"Do you know where her studio is?"

"Uh? Ah, yeah."

"What are you doing? Gosh, my head hurts."

  Annie complained, still disoriented.

"We'll take you to the studio, okay? You should rest there for a while and then go home."

The eldest spoke carefully in English, knowing she'd understand it better.

"Why would you do that? I'm fine, I just need some water."

She slowly walked to the balcony where her water bottle was at.

"You're such a hassle."

Lee Know said as he grabbed the bottle before her.

"Where is it?"

He turned to Chan, who was holding a laugh.

"Follow me."
