Taehyung was looking at a sleeping Byeongkwan, his birthday was in some few hours he honestly couldn't care anymore. Byeongkwan had fallen into a coma and the doctors have no idea when he'll wake up. He had a broken foot and two broken rib bones. His head had harshly hit the ground when he was driven over, which is why his currently in a coma.

Jungkook left an hour ago to fetch some clothes for Taehyung and himself. Taehyung was holding onto Byeongkwan's hand tightly, his eyes dried of tears hours ago. Wow had disappeared, probably to eat something. He had been with Kwan the entire time until 20 minutes ago, and unlike Taehyung, he has no one to take care of him.

Jungkook storms into the room, growling like a wild animal. "Kookie?" Taehyung whispers looking up. Jungkook softens up and sits down beside Taehyung with a sigh. "I'm sorry petal, work got on my nerves" Jungkook softly explains and kisses Taehyung's forehead. Taehyung nods and looks back down at Byeongkwan, who despite being hooked up to hundreds of cables, looks peaceful.

"Is Wow okay?" Jungkook asks Taehyung, knowing Wow cared deeply about Kwan. Taehyung shrugs. He honestly didn't know how Wow was doing, he wasn't close to Wow. Who the hell befriends their bully? Maybe in stories, but not in real life. It just doesn't happen, he wasn't mad at Kwan for befriending him though. It was his choice, not Taehyung's.

Jungkook shuffles Taehyung's hair and holds Taehyung's empty hand. "It's your birthday in an hour" Jungkook says, kissing Taehyung's hand. Tears Taehyung thought long had gone starts pouring down his eyes, he didn't want to celebrate his birthday without Kwan. This birthday was going to be celebrated big style. He could get away from his abusive parents, but then Kwan ends up in a coma. Jungkook hugs Taehyung tightly. "Don't cry petal, please. I know it hurts, but you can't let pain control your life. Kwan will wake up, but in the mean time you have too be strong. Tomorrow you and me will celebrate your birthday and when Kwan wakes up, we'll celebrate your birthday again with Kwan." Jungkook says while whipping Taehyung's tears away.

Two months later

It's exactly two months since Taehyung's 18 birthday, and true enough Taehyung and Jungkook did spend Taehyung's birthday together. They left the hospital early in the morning and came back later that day. Taehyung had fun, even though it was without his best friend. Byeongkwan was still sleeping peacefully in a hospital bed and Wow has been in the hospital almost every day, when he didn't have school.

Taehyung and Jungkook never spent long without each other, the only time they weren't, they were working. It was finally spring after the dark and cold winter, not that Taehyung minds the dark. He actually kind off enjoys it, not having the sun shining on him all day. The flowers are blooming and there's finally some more colour again. "Petal, are you ready to go visit Kwan?" Jungkook asks and wraps his arms around Taehyung's waist. Taehyung nods and grabs the flowers he brought earlier. Jungkook pecks Taehyung's lips and puts a jacket on Taehyung, "it's still cold, so you have to wear warm clothes. I don't want you catching a cold petal" Jungkook says and puts a hat on Taehyung's head making Taehyung giggle.

When the two arrive at Kwan's hospital room, Taehyung carefully puts the flowers into the pot at Kwan's bedside table. His hands slightly shaking, they always are when his in Kwan's hospital room. Wow was sleeping beside Kwan, holding onto Kwan like a teddy bear. It was weird seeing the two together like that. Jungkook wraps his arms around Taehyung's waist and pulls Taehyung's body down onto his lap.

"The doctor says he may wake up soon, his hand has been twitching a lot lately" Jungkook whispers carefully into Taehyung's ears, not wanting to wake up Wow. Taehyung nods, the doctors have been saying that for a month now. Jungkook pecks Taehyung's forehead and smiles slightly. "I've got to go petal, I have some stuff to do. If you need anything just ask Wow and be home by 9, since it's school tomorrow" Jungkook tells Taehyung.

Taehyung nods and asks, "We'll you be home by then?". Jungkook bites his lip, knowing he won't be home earlier then 1 AM. "I don't think I will, but I will try" Jungkook says and kisses Taehyung's ear and stands up leaving the hospital.
