The headache was killing the two best friends the next morning, the Christmas party was too much fun yesterday. They had passed out on the bed as soon as they got back home to Kwan, neither of them had the energy in them to change 

The first thing that went through Taehyungs head when he woke up was the little box he got from Jungkook, and the words leaving the other when giving it 

He couldn’t stop thinking about it last night and it doesn’t seem like he will stop anytime soon. 

He sighed heavily before finally getting out of the comfortable bed he’s been laying on for the past two hours, taking a shower and changing to fresher clothes. 

He was debating whether to wake Kwan up or just leave him to sleep. But when he caught sight of the gift he got from Jungkook he suddenly had other plans

Maybe after all the thinking he couldn’t stop himself from taking his jacket and leaving the warm house to go out in the freezing weather, mind on one thing as he picked up his pace

“Petal?, what brings you here”

Jungkook asked, surprised seeing Taehyung on the other side of his front door, cheeks red and face buried in his cozy scarf. Jungkook tried his best to control himself from cuddling the boy since he looked so adorable, but instead pulled him inside 

“I-I have thought about what you said..”

Taehyung mumbled in his scarf as soon as he stepped inside, He’s eyes traveling to his shoes as he talked. He was to flustered to meet Jungkooks eye who’s really confused right now

“What are you talking bout?”

The other asked. His eyebrows furrowed as he waited for Taehyung to finish, but the words leaving next made him still 

“I want to be more than friends, I want to give us a chance”

Being to shy, Taehyungs cheeks only grew more pink as he once again buried himself deeper in his scarf. The silence was killing him after he had let that out of his mouth. 

He felt his scarf being pulled away and the gentle fingers resting on his cheek. He met Jungkooks eyes a quick second before the other  pulled him in for a kiss 

It was leaving a weird feeling in the pit of his stomach, and maybe it was happening to often when he was around the boy who’s kissing him right now
