"Because the mating season has started early for some odd reason," answered Mirajane

"What even is mating season," Rin asked

"Also, why did Gale go off on Storm and stopped when he heard he hurt Nashi," questioned Luke

"Okay, all of you are going to go through this thing call Dragon/Devil mating season. This season is where you guys find your mate. For some odd reason, Gale's season has started early than your guy's. Take this, for example, Hey Gale I heard Storm is planning on asking Nashi out. Now watch his reaction," Laxus said

"That no go ice prick better keep his icy cold hands away from mine Nashi. Or I will personally kill him and make sure he never looks at Nashi ever again," Gale said while the others scared of their guild's mate arua.

"As you can see, Gale wants to kill Storm right now. I need to warn you guys about one thing, you will sense your mate's pain or emotions. They will be so strong that you will think that you need to break out of here and go find them. Any questions," Laxus asked

"Yeah, why did you put us in magic handcuffs," asked Rin

"You see, your powers will increase during this time so you can protect your mate. We don't need another mating season like when we were young," Gray said and answered

"Questioned," said Nova

"What is it," Mirajane asked

"Who is our mates," Nova asked

"That we can't tell you, "Natsu said

"Why is that dad," Luke asked

"Because, at the beginning of the mating season, you will question why you are mating with your mate. When you don't mate with them, you will become sick and die," Laxus answered 

"Wow, the mating season is about to begin. Time really does fly by fast. Anyways, we have to leave before you guys think we are trying to take your mates away from you," Mirajane said with her smile

While the boys/Mirajane were explaining the mating season the devil/dragon slayers. The mates were packing their things and heading to the guild to leave. 

"Hi, Sylvia! Hi Storm," Nashi yelled

"Sup," Storm answered

"Hi Nashi-sama, Sylvia is happy to see you," Sylvia said

"Same here pal," Nashi said

"Oh where is Rosemary and Reiki," Storm asked

"I haven't seen them," Nashi said

"Sylvia is worried about Rosemary-chan and Reiki-senpai," Sylvia said

"Don't worry kids they will be here soon," Lucy said

"Love rival is right," Juvia said

"What the hell Juvia I am not your love rival," Lucy yelled

"Sorry, Juvia is used to calling you that," Juvia

"It's okay," Lucy said

"Is she still calling you her love rival even when she is married to Gray," Ezra asked while walking up to them with Rosemary and Reiki.

"Rosemary-Chan, Reiki-senpai! Syliva was so worried about you!" Sylvia yelled

"Sorry to make you worry," Rosemary said

"It's okay, Sylvia forgives you," Sylvia said

"She truly is your daughter Juvia," Erza said

The women all laughed at Erza's comment

"Hey guys, Dragon/devil slayer mating season is about to begin. You guys should leave right now," Levy said while walking out of the guild

"That's right, come on kids let's go," Lucy said

"Luce, bye I love you and keep Nashi safe," Natsu said while kissing Lucy on the check

"I will don't worry and I love you too," Lucy said while kissing Natsu on the lips(lol)

"Bye Gray-sama Juvia will miss you," Juvia said

"I will miss you too Juvia," Gray said back

"Be safe my love," Jellal said

"I will love you too," Erza said

"Everyone I wish you safe travels and-"

Laxus was cut off by a big banged sound coming for the cells. They all turned around to see Gale and the other slayers but, Gale looked ready to kill someone.

"Keep your icy cold dirt hands off Nashi," Gale yelled at Storm

Storm them picked up Nashi and ran as fast as he could. Gale was so angry Laxus was scared of him.

"Everyone, keep these kids safe even if you have to knock these slayers out," Laxus yelled

"Get out of my way, lighting freak! He has MY Nashi," Gale yelled

"No can do son, my daughter is on the line here and I will go down fighting to keep her safe," Natsu said tried of Gale's jealousy.

"Everyone, ATTACK," Laxus yelled charging at the slayers.
