Dagger X Sideswipe: Gone

I was scared of this blind date I had been set up on. Well it was supposed to be a blind date a long time ago but the mech ended up moving and we could only send letters and com link each other. I was still scared from my past relationship. Catching a cheater isn't the greatest feeling in the world.

But after a while I was set up on a date and we planned to meet at a nice bar. As far as nice can get for a kaonian bar. He told me he'd be the one with his own built metal roses. But I couldn't find him.

An hour later I was about to give up, I walked off after pasting for my energon. I walked outside and sighed while heading home when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked up to see a ship sized Autobot. In his giant servo was a bouquet of roses. "D-dagger?" I asked as he smiled. Handing me the roses he picked me up and transformed around me. He introduced himself and he was quite the gentleman. He transformed at his home and caught me in his servo. Homes like these were obviously meant for mechs his size.

We talked for what seemed like an eternity. He kept the conversation interesting. Soon enough we were lip-locked as best we could. Having a normal sized both and a ship bot was difficult but he made it easy to kiss. As we pulled away from the heated make out session, he smiled at me letting out a warm breath. That night was only ecstasy and heaven for the both of us.

In the morning I woke up on him and smiled. "It was worth the wait" He smiled and kissed me again. I let out a giggle and nodded in agreement. "How long have we sent letters?" I asked and climbed to his helm kissing his face along the way. "Too long" he laughed and picked me up. He walked to his shower and we cleaned each other from last night's activities.

-12 years later-

I smiled as I brought breakfast up to my soon to be bondmate. "Hubby~" I purred and sneaked into the room making sure he was asleep. He hated when I called him Hubby as the human term for husband. Yet he found it adorable.

I climbed on to the large berth and sat on his chest. "Daggerrrr" I whined. "Get up please, it's time to plan" I laughed and showed him a prototype of the ceremony invitations. "I'm comin'" he groaned and sat up. "You're more excited then anyone about this" he laughed. I simply grinned and attacked his faceplate in kisses, making sure to avoid his mouth for teasing.

"When are you going to tell your brother?" He asked as he enjoyed the kisses but whined when I moved away from his mouth. "I'll tell him today" I smiled.

Before we could spend our glorious morning together I received a com link to head into work early. "Work?" He pouted. "Can't you skip today?"

"And skip on the chance to buy that lingerie you've been eyeing?" I laughed. "No way, it's pay day"

"I could always wait for the next pay check to see you in the thin thing" he purred and kissed me. Happily returning the kiss I giggled and climbed off him. "I hate keeping you waiting" I smiled and blew him a kiss. "I'll be back by tonight with the present and some dessert!" I smiled and got my things ready.

He finally stood and saw me out. "Love you Sideswipe, always will" he grinned. "Love you too Dagger" I smiled and kissed him one last time and headed to work.

-midnight-

I had gotten my pay check and a bonus just as a gift because of my up coming ceremony. I bought the lingerie and Dagger's favorite thing in the world, ice cream.

As I drove I noticed many headed in the opposite direction. Which was strange because this wasn't a busy street. As I got closer I heard the sirens of officers and medics. My spark skipped a beat and I drove faster as I saw that they were in my home. "Dagger!" I cried as I transformed and tried passing the officers. They held me back and I watched as Dagger's alt mode was carried out, burned and cut all over. "Dagger!" I cried again and managed to get past them. I saw ratchet take a scan of Daggers body and shook his helm. "Dagger!!" I screamed and hugged his altmode crying. More officers came to take me away but Ratchet dismissed them. He put his hand on my shoulder and gave me a sympathetic look.

"He didn't want you to know he had a problem" Ratchet sighed. I continued to cry and stayed close to Dagger. "Here" he said and handed me one more letter from Dagger.

It read:

Sideswipe, my love,

I know this isn't how we should say goodbye. But if I do die or stay in stasis for the rest of my life I want to stay close to you no matter what. I'm hoping you can keep my body as a ship. I've already signed all rights to you. But it's your choice and I understand if you don't want to be burdened with me. I love you, I hope one day we can meet in the allspark and be together again.
