Opening night of Clarence Germaine's newest film, "The Pretender" and most all of Keoghan Knott's citizens arrive for the premier. A large screen has been placed out onto the sands leading up to the 'Landing', one of Keoghan Knott's most established dining clubs.

The valet park, the assistants and publicists all gather, family and friends have a section which only contains Caulfield and his friends.

"I am proud of you man, for wanting to come to this."

"Well, I want to show that I support him even if he doesn't give me the time of day. Maybe one of these days, he'll tell me why?"

Spencer gives his friend a rub on the shoulders. The rest of the group arrive, including Oliver and Jackie.

Augusta instructs Jackie to be sure to capture her and her friends in total support of Mr. Germaine. Its imperative that the world know how devote his son is, even though he himself is a waste of skin. Jackie agrees with Augusta and remarks on how despicable Clarence is, to even his crew on set. Oliver, pipes up and states that most of the other actors on set do not get along with him either. Caulfield looks up at Oliver and winks, which seems to indicate that Oliver could hand him a little bag of goodies.

Dandelion Graves, the leading lady takes her place on stage. Hugo Jarvis the films anti hero also comes out. Then the drum roll begins for "The Pretender" Star, Clarence stumbles out from behind the screen. inexplicitly intoxicated, a pure embarrassment for the cast and even more so for his onlooking son. The paparazzi captures it all, including the small bag of goodies that fell from Caulfield's pocket as he stood to wave the cameras away!

Caulfield goes to comfort his father. He reaches down his hand to lift Clarence from beneath the stage. Clarence denies affection from Caulfield and crawls away. Cassadine watches from a far.

Augusta accidentally bumps into Kevin, and is surprised to see him on this night. She attempts to pull the counsellor in for a secret kiss, he declines. He tells her that they cannot be seen in public as it would ruin his career. He tells her he will email her, and she can email him as it is not noticed like a text message. Augusta hasn't felt this good in a very long time.

Marigold is caught off guard as a woman approaches her and compliments her on her dress. Marigold states that some times she likes to create her own fashion, a hobby she took on to eliminate the stressors. The woman introduces herself as Kelce, hands her a card and remarks that she knows of the struggles Marigold has gone through. She also states she would love to help boost her fashion career, if she so chose!
