A lonely ghost, a missing sheep, a feral, blue, know-it-all parakeet, and five friends who must try to rescue their sixth mate from a lonely, clingy ghost.

Lost Sheep Billabong on Wangaroo Station is haunted.  A century ago a wandering Swagman left Wangaroo to find another job. His body was found at the billabong and the station workers buried him there, in the Outback that was his beloved home.

One fall week in May, Jay and his five mates camped at Lost Sheep for their annual trip, because Ollie is determined to see a ghost. To their horror, he does. The Swagman's Ghost is lonely, and he means to have company. Ollie.

I've never been to Australia, and I tried to describe the place and the characters with care.
