They say that you are never really given a choice. You're name, your date of birth, your natural born looks. It's all been decided the moment you came out of the womb.

That's what exactly happened to Dorian. Even still, He couldn't believe it himself.

Of course, he'd always known that he was different from the rest in Ledsworth. Pretty much his entire life. Though unlike Amy Pond and her imaginary friend, he often kept those types of thoughts to himself. 

Now he was a troubled kid, bad grades, bullies, not having many friends besides the one and being outcasted. Pretty much in the market. Not that he minded being alone, he rather liked the peace and imagination he could keep to himself and away from everyone. He would sometimes stargaze imagining himself flying through the clouds and beyond. 

Then one day, he came to find out that he wasn't ordinary at all.

That the dreams and imagination he held was actually a reality.

Now any normal person would think that; 'It's dangerous. My life has been a lie. I'm a freak'.

This isn't that type of story though.

Dorian wasn't some damsel emotional kid that was super freaked out that he was an unordinary child. He was rather thrilled.

He always wanted to be something a bit more abnormal. Deep down as he watched other kids at the school grounds play while he was further away. The idea that he wasn't from around him made him feel a bit special in a way which was better than the empty hole he had spent nearly eleven years in. No matter how hard he tried, he could never be as ordinary as others were so why bother. Was it considered alienating, sure. But did it make him feel better, yeah.

He was always fascinated whenever something was always unordinary, always assuming that he was going to be finding his call to adventure.

That's what exactly happened when he was twelve and he came across the kissogram redhead and the imaginary friend. He was actually real. Wearing a tweed outfit with a wacky bowtie holding a green glowing wand.

With being caught into some fairy tale and alien hunters and his parents being gone and out of the house. Dorian stepped into the dream he always longed.

Travelling across the stars in the big blue box.

As an unearthly child.

It is going to be dangerous though. Full of monsters and space sociopaths. But if you still want to know the tale, be my guess.

Don't say I didn't warn you though.
