Re-Convergence

The pair of soulmates got changed by swapping turns in the bathroom. They spoke through the door until they settled down for the evening.

"Did you... learn anything down there? I tried to wait, but instincts are strong and I couldn't for too long."

Olivia smiled faintly at the care, leaning against the wall beside the restroom door. "Didn't really learn anything. But now I know he was here." She shrugged, walking over to make-up the couch.

"Is it possible for you to...?" Farah waved her hands, not knowing how to ask, especially if she was wrong. She poked her head out with a curious look.

Olivia went from a curious expression back to her smile. She did that a lot, Farah couldn't tell if it was fake or if she had a reason to cover her emotions. "Magic shit?" She laughed. "Trust me, if I had abilities, my middle school years, I would have figured it out."

The taller woman smirked briefly before coming all the way out, pulling her shirt down the rest of the way. "So you were into fantasy, interesting..." She was clearly trying to sound mysterious, eyeing the blonde with sad eyes. She wished Olivia would reconsider, but she didn't believe she'd win that fight.

She settled on the trunk at the foot of her bed, watching the blonde go about her nightly routine, checking and re-checking her suitcase reflexively. She pulled out the next day's clothes, her hairbrush, deodorant, then noticed how empty her bag was.

Farah noticed as well. "We could go into the market and get you some more clothes?" she offered hopefully. She would be quite pleased to have her soulmate in Solarian garb. Even if it was an imitation of the First World's clothes.

But Olivia grimaced. "No... I couldn't do that. A whole wardrobe is pricey. And, anyway I detest shopping. I have perfectly good clothes-" She took a deep breath, bringing her arms together then flaring them away from each other to symbolize peace and letting it go. "I'll figure it out. Sadly, your tour did not showcase the laundry room. Would you show me tomorrow?" she asked, smiling over her shoulder at the brunette.

But Farah caught on the fact that Liv only had 3 outfits. She'd brought more, but one had been damaged by an accident Bloom had had and another was torn apart by her face-off with the Burned One. "I truly don't mind, though, we should get you more clothes," she insisted, all heartfelt and shit.

The blonde looked at her empty bag. "I'm fine," she mumbled, fiddling with the strap.

Farah frowned and walked over to her. She was hesitant to touch, but it felt right for the moment. She took Olivia's hand and smiled faintly when she was looked at. "I truly don't mind," she repeated, though slower, less off-hand, and very deep.

Olivia wasn't sure how they'd gotten so close together, but she was startled to find she didn't mind. Her dirty mind started acting up so of course she blushed and her eyes jerked away. She barely held back a nervous giggle when her chin was taken, lifting her to look directly in the face. Blue eyes shifted to meet brown and the emotion and desire in Farah's eyes made Olivia forget any awkwardness. She hummed low in her throat the moment before Farah swooped down and pressed their lips together. The hum turned into a moan and the shorter woman's hips were practically clawed before she was pulled to the side of the bed, right beside Farah.

Olivia wouldn't be able to tell who moved the two of them to sit, but they ended up on the bed and then at the head. Farah was a heavenly kisser and she kept distracting the blonde. They'd moved so Olivia was higher on the bed and sitting against the pillows. Farah's arm propping her was on the pillows of her side, but her higher half pressed right alongside her soulmate. Her face nuzzled the space between her collarbones. Liv suppressed a high pitched giggle and pulled at the brown locks her hands were buried in. "What about you? Any siblings?"

The Headmistress took a large breath of the blonde's scent before lifting her head. "Ben and Saul are practically brothers, but other than that no. The rest of my family is long gone."

The blonde pulled her lips to the side in sympathy, toying with the hair in her grasp. "I used to be able to say the same. Seems I've got just the opposite." She chuckled under her breath.

Farah froze before taking her far cheek in her palm, bringing her back. "Hey, listen to me. Andreas is gone. He has been gone for 16 years. Whether he's alive or not."

Blue eyes searched the space around her soulmate's head before returning to the brown gaze. "If he's alive, he chose this."

Farah nodded determinedly. "Yes." She stared at the blonde hard, willing her to believe her, though her eyes remained brown.

The gaze dropped as did the confidence. "And if he's not, I'm soiling his memory with my paranoia."

Sighing deeply, Farah moved to her knees to hold the blonde properly. "No..." And she distracted her soulmate with another kiss, then another, until the sun dipped behind the horizon and the blonde slept into a new day filled with opportunities.
