(Y/n) was ordered to read the Starfarer comic, and though it was annoying, she did it anyway. She was glad the reading was interrupted by someone entering the room. "Hey, just wanted to let you both know that the food is done." The water girl said, Lloyd jumped off the bed, running out the room. "Finally, I'm hungry!"

That left the two girls in the room, the red dressed girl who fiddled with her fingers and the black cloaked girl, going back to reading the comic.

"So, you're not hungry?" The water girl asked. "I will eat on the next landing." She states, not even looking over at the girl.

"Oh, I'll just stay here with you then, I'm not that hungry either." She says, taking Lloyd's spot on the bed. "You like comics?" She attempts conversation. "I don't care much for fictional readings, I enjoy more historical events." "Looks like you enjoy x rated manga too."

(Y/n) finally looked over, seeing her look through the book she bought. "Ah, I'm not sure what genre it is, but reading that was irritating." She said, putting down the comic. "The women were extremely whiny."

The red dressed girl pauses, flipping through multiple pages before stopping. (Y/n) became suspicious when the girl had a mischievous smirk on her face.

"Yeah, people usually skip the beginning."

(Y/n) tilted her head, visibly confused. "Wouldn't there be lost context?" She asked. "Context isn't needed when the rest of the manga is just this." She turned the book over to (Y/n).

She paused, trying to understand what was being shown. (Y/n) stood up, walked out the door, hiding herself within her cloak. The water girl let out a loud laugh, wheezing, and unable to breathe.

Entering the dinning room, the red ninja and the child were in an argument. "Well, I'll just kick them where it hurts!" Lloyd yelled. "Sure,  but what about the Serpentine Generals, can't kick something that isn't there." The earth ninja rebuts.

Lloyd crossed his arm, spotting (Y/n) by the door. "Oh (Y/n), what's the best way to defeat a Serpentine?" He asked, scooting over to let her sit by him.

"Serpentine? Wh-Which ones?" She stuttered out. "Uh, all of them?"

She was drawing a blank, not really able to pull any thoughts.

"(Y/n)?" Lloyd questions. "It appears your injures have not gotten better, I sense your heart is unsteady, and your body tempterture also have increased." The white ninja says with concern.

The girl in the red dress walks in, calming her breathing as she lets out a few more laughs. "Nah, you don't have to worrry about her, she's just embarressed." She reassures, sitting right next to Lloyd. "What, embarressed about what, (Y/n)?" The boy questions.

"Hypnobrai are the weakest of the Serpentine, which is why they rely on their hypnosis, you could beat them with your eyes closed." She changes the subject, answering the boy's first question. "Fangpyre are never going to bring us any harm but wearing silver-made armor keeps them from biting you."

"So what about Pythor?"

(Y/n) tilts her head a bit, slightly confused. "Pythor?" "Yeah, what's his weakness, we still need to take revenage on him for taking the map and hurting you." She hummed. "You mean the Anacondrai? They have no weaknesses, the best you could do is try and outsmart one, but they are also well known for their strategic battle tactics." She informs.

"And how would you know all that?" The red ninja, again, accuses. "History books."

"Your new uniforms arrived." The Sensei announces, opening the box in his arms as his students look inside with awe.

"Oh, (Y/n), I wanted to go to the Mega Monster Amusement Park!" Lloyd exclaims, lightly pulling on her arm. "Ok?" "Yay!" Lloyd runs out of the dining room.

"He looks exhausting to deal with, you don't get tired of it?" The girl asks, (Y/n) responding with a shrug. "There are worse things to deal with."

"Ok, I'm ready!" He says, leading her to the upper deck.

___

(Y/n) watches as the boy gets on one of the rides. She didn't understand how he was easily entertained by these rides. A few people riding threw up, cried, or screamed.

Just then, screams of horror were heard. (Y/n) turned to see the people running away from the Serpentine.

The terrorizing didn't last long as a giant mechanical samurai swept in and tied up the serpents.

The Samurai jumped out to finish the rest of them. From what she could tell, under that suit was a scrawny figure. Though, giving some credit, it appears the Samurai, despite its small figure, is doing pretty well against the snakes.

Jumping back into the machinery, the Samurai flew off.

Lloyd finally got off the ride, spotting the tied up serpents.

"Hey, what's going on, what happened with the Serpentine?" The blue ninja questioned. "It was the Samurai, he just flew in and took care of everything." A girl sighed lovingly. "He was so dreamy." Another cooed.

"I do not understand this realm's people." (Y/n) muttered, confused as to what deemed the Samurai attractive. They could only see metal, was metal attractive in this realm?

"Wait, you saw what he looked like?" The red ninja questions, the girls just shrugging. "No, but we could tell."

"What about you, (Y/n), you saw what he looked like?" The earth elemental asked. "She wasn't that muscular." Was all she commented.

"Eh heh heh, y-you mean he, right?" The water girl nervously corrected, (Y/n) immediately putting two and two together. "It was speculation." She added, keeping the secret for now.

Lloyd gave a large smile, jumping with excitement. "I saw him all the way from the ride, he looked so cool!" "Not you too, Lloyd." The red ninja complained. "That's it, I'm gonna say it, I hate the Samurai!"

"Is that a hint of jealousy I hear?" The Sensei asked, taking a bite from his cotton candy. "Here is a lesson, iron sharpens iron." Before anyone could question his riddle, The Sensei noticed the ferris wheel and excitedly ran towards it.

"What did uncle mean by that?" Lloyd asked, lightly tugging at (Y/n) cloak. She resisted the urge to yank it from him, instead, focusing on his question.

"Pft, like she'd know the answer, bet she doesn't even know the best way to defeat an enemy is." "Kai, dude, stop." The earth ninja said with slight annoyance.

"She's ten times smarter than you!" Lloyd argued.

"Iron sharpens iron is only a saying, it means to see the flaws of your technique and using another's skill to improve." She answers, Lloyd too busy glaring at the red ninja rather than listen. "Alright then, anyone want to go on some of the rides?"

___

(Y/n) would watch as the alarm would warn the ninja of the Serpentine, they would hurry over to the destination, and come back in defeat. The water girl would also disappear in that time, and once she reappeared, she had a large grin on her face.

"Oh hey, come to try Cole's famous recipes?" He joked, pouring the soup-like substance into a bowl, handing it to her.

"If he's so famous, why have I never heard of him?" She mutters, looking into the bowl. The earth master lets out a laugh, the smile never leaving. "Touché."

(Y/n) hasn't eaten in a while, and the chances of the bowl being poisoned weren't high. So, she decided to take a bite out of the soup, it would probably be fine. It was strangely sweet but also spicy, the flavor was strong yet very bland, it was warm but also frozen.

Looking back up to the ninja, his smile had gotten bigger. "Did you poison the food?" She questioned, the black ninja backing up with his hands in the air. "Wha- no no,  I just- nobody really likes my food, it's nice to see someone enjoy it." He says.

She still eyed him suspicious, but continued to eat regardless.

The earth ninja sat across the table from her. "So, uh, how'd you end up in the underworld, with Garmadon?" He questioned.

"How did you end up with a pathetic old man?" She mocked, continuing to eat her meal.

The small insult surprised him, but he answered her question. "How I met Sensei?" He started, (Y/n) humming lightly in response. "I. . . had lost someone very close to me, my father wasn't really there for me when it happened, kinda just busied himself in his work." He let out a strained chuckle. "Anyway, I was just climbing, helped clear the mind, and he was just right there, an old man, at the top of the mountain." He says with slight awe in his tone. "Yeah, so that was that, asked me to join him and so I did, how about you?"

She pondered for a bit. Telling him of her beginnings wasn't important information, she could afford to indulge his curiosity.

"It is a bit fuzzy but, my village had caught on fire, it left no survivors." Saying that had caused her ears to ring a bit. "My Lord found me and sent the Skulkin to retrieve me." She says, unsure of herself.

She never thinks back on that day, and when she does, the blanks in her story leave her confused. Even though she's unsure of the events, or even the order of things, she doesn't press too much on the memory. She'd rather forget, it made things easier.

The earth ninja looked deep in thought, worry hinted in his expression. (Y/n) didn't care of what judgments he made in his head. Her bowl was finished, and she didn't need to stay here anymore.

"Hey (Y/n), Kai said to pick up Lloyd from the arcade, you should come!" The red dressed girl exclaimed, dragging her out of the dining room without another word.

(Y/n) yanks her body away from her, lightly glaring. "Care to explain?"

The water girl was taken aback by the sudden movement. "Oh, uh, Lloyd, Kai left him at the arcade and we're getting him." She repeated. (Y/n) was displeased. There was obviously something else she wanted to discuss.

Maybe she also didn't trust the ninja, but if that were the case, why would (Y/n) be trusted.

"Alright, you wish to speak somewhere else, fine." Once one the upper deck, (Y/n) kicked the red dressed girl off the bounty.

"AAAHHHH!"

(Y/n) jumped off soon after, summoning her elemental dragon. She watched the water girl fall for a long while. The longer she fell, the more she'd come to think maybe she hadn't been the Samurai.

But on cue, the large machine sweeps in and catches her. (Y/n) followed the Samurai, stopping right at the arcade.

The girl had jumped out of her suit, an annoyed look on her face. "Are you CRAZY!" She screeched, (Y/n) stepping back. "I was testing a theory, it was proven correct, the annoyance you have for me is unnecessary." She stated. "Besides, it seemed like you were going to speak to me of this anyway."

"Yeah, but friends don't just go shoving friends off a goddamn death fall." "I'm unsure of what meaning friends hold, but pushing you off seemed like the fastest way to-" "Ugh, whatever, let's just get Lloyd."

They had searched for the boy everywhere in the arcade, and not a single indicator of his location.

"Huh, maybe we could look into the security cameras." The red dressed girl says, leading (Y/n) further into the arcade.

The girl knocked on a door for employees only. After awhile, someone had opened the door. "Hello, we were wondering if-"

A flash of purple blinded her for a moment, once the light cleared, the guards were on the floor, lifeless.

"(Y/N)!" She yelled in horror, checking the guards pulses.

(Y/n) walked over to the screens, seeing the areas they had just been in. "They are still alive if that's what you're whining about." She turns to the distressed girl on the floor, motioning to the screens. "I do not understand this."

Getting off from the floor, she walks over to the screens. "Girl, you're going to give me a heartattack." She huffed out. "I did nothing that would prompt something like that."

The water girl shook her head, tapping away at the screen. "You really didn't need to knock them out, and if you did need to for some reason, why not give a warning?"

"You're a Samurai, adapt to situations faster." She advised. "Okay, but we're working together, this is a teamwork exercise." She says, looking at the screen with the bus full of snakes. "And looks like it's going to be a teamwork mission." She sighed, leaving the building and jumping into her suit.

"Before getting there, let's make a plan, I don't want to have to deal with anymore of your surprises." Her distorted voice said.

"Making a plan at this very moment would be impossible since we have no idea of what we will be headed to." (Y/n) stated. "So instead let's focus more on analyzing what happened." "Yeah okay, fine." The girl agreed.

"The vehicle looked as if Skales were the one to drive it, he didn't seem to recognize the boy, so he should be safe." She informs. "Their were also some Fangpyre serpents in that vehicle, if he were to be found out, he would still be safe since the Fangpyre feel indebted to keep us alive."

"Why do they feel indebted to you?" The girl asked, following the trail the vechile made. "The lightning elemental's mother used her kindness to control them." (Y/n) says in an admiring tone.

"Edna? Pftt, I don't think she meant to do that, she's just genuinely nice." "Regardless of intent, she still has control of a whole tribe."

They made it to the snake's den, watching as the Serpentine cheered on the fight that was going on.

"Look, there's Lloyd." The water girl whispered. The child was in a small cage, sitting with a large pout. There was no indication of stress or injuries.

Giving a small sigh of relief, (Y/n) turned to the red dressed girl. "Could you make a big enough distraction?" (Y/n) asked, the girl giving a small wink. "Two steps ahead of you, girly."

In her large suit, she crashed down onto the fight. All the Serpentine turned to the girl, ready to attack.

(Y/n) slipped by everyone, making eye contact with a few Fangpyre, but again, they would not attack her.

She made it to the caged boy, the child giving a small cheer.

"I knew you'd come for me, I knew you wouldn't leave me behind!" He said, with a more relieved tone than a knowing one.

She picked up the lockpad, tugging at it lightly. "Pythor has the key." Lloyd stated.

(Y/n) formed a small dagger in her hand, tilting it so the blunt side was pointed at the lock. With all her force, she busted the lock off, with Lloyd scrambling to get out.

The child immediately hid behind her, getting the Anacondrai's attention.

"Fools! The Samurai is the distraction, get the girl!"

While the Samurai was trying to keep the attention on herself, some of the serpents did start making their way to (Y/n).

So, she raised her hands slightly, feigning defeat, before her elemental dragon appeared behind her, letting out a loud roar.

The tribes scurried off, Lloyd climbing onto the dragon. Once (Y/n) jump on, her dragon took flight.

___

"Nya's the Samurai?!" Lloyd shouted, the girl immediately covering his mouth. "Shhhh shush! It's a secret Lloyd!" The girl shouted in a whisper. "Not a very well kept secret, three out of the eight people here know your secret."

"Three?" The girl questioned nervously. "I'm sure your master knows." (Y/n) clarified. "Yeah, Uncle kinda just knows these things."

While the three were making there way to their rooms, the four ninja all storming out of their own.

"Woah, guys, what's the rush?" The girl asked, the four ninja all looking shocked.

The red ninja pulled the girl into a tight hug. "Where did you go, are you hurt, did she kidnap you!?" Again, with his accusations, but (Y/n) shrugged it off.

"No no,  I'm fine, we found Lloyd and kinda lost track of time." The girl lied.

(Y/n) whispered down to the child. "I am not a good lier, lie for me." She says, Lloyd giving a mischievous look. "Yeah, we had so much fun, we went to a better arcade, I had to play some of the game by myself since Nya and (Y/n) wanted to be alone on their date."

The red dressed girl was extremely flustered by the statement, while (Y/n) was extremely confused.

"Date?" She questioned, with slight curiosity. "Nya, I know your standards are low, but really, I didn't know they were that low." The red ninja mocked. The three ninja looked at the scene unfolded. (Y/n) did notice the disappointment in the blue ninja, but didn't care to question it.

The girl took offense to the statement her brother said, swatting him away as she walked over to (Y/n), placing an arm around her waist.

"My standards are high, thank you very much, and  it's none of your business anyway."

Using context, (Y/n) figured that date was maybe a slang word for lover. Given that she was being held in a romantic way.

Keeping this a secret was going to grow annoying. But she played along, giving a small smile as she nuzzled her head into the girl.

"Ugh, gonna puke." The red ninja gagged, walking away from the scene. "I didn't expect this, but uh, congrats?" The black ninja says.

"Thanks!" The girl cheered, tugging (Y/n) away. "Well, we're just gonna go, bye!"

Once inside the room, Lloyd had bursted out laughing. "Y-Your face is s-s-so red." He said between laughs.

The girl only glared at him. "We are pretending to be lovers, correct?" (Y/n) question. "Because of Lloyd, yup." She sighed, her cheeks still red.

She gave a small hum, looking back at the girl. "Alright, what is your name again."

The girl just stared at her, slightly offended. "Nya."

"Oh, like Nyad, that's fitting for you." (Y/n) says.

There was a loud bang against the wall. "Nya! If you're in there I swear!"

Nya rolled her eyes. "Guess that's my cue, see you later." "Sure."
