Pain shoots through her hand, leg, and chest. Though, the pain in her chest felt so much worse than the other two parts. Slowly, she pushed herself up, hissing with every movement.

Finally, in a sitting position, she felt dizzy. She kept her eyes closed for a few moments before opening them.

The room she was in looked a mess, bottles scattered, bloody bandages on the floor, and a variety of machinery she didn't know the purpose of.

Looking down at herself, she was bare apart from the bandages that wrapped around her. A faint line of red could be seen, but she'd worry about that later.

Sliding off of the bed, she wobbled over to the door of the room, leaning on the wall to catch her breath.

"If you're all done fooling around, I could use your help at the bridge, we still have a snake problem."

(Y/n) flinched, confused as to where the voice came from.

"Sn-ake?" She questioned. What was that voice talking about? Skales? Right, she helped release some of the tribes.

"You do know I can hear you, right? Over and out!"

She ignored the voice, leaving the mess of a room to explore.

The next room she went into had piles of clothes clumped together, the smell of some having a horrid stench, while others had a floral scent.

(Y/n) grabbed a black gi, throwing it over herself. She pulled the rope around the waist of the gi, tightening it since it was a bit too large for her. Though she did miss having her cloak, she couldn't find it in either pile.

A sigh left her lips, now trying to recall the past events.

She let out the Anacondrai. They went to a school. The ninja were there... it gets a bit fuzzy there, but she remembered being on the roof, unsure of how she got there.

"Lord Garmadon's son." She muttered, slightly nervous that he was hurt.

She let herself walk aimlessly, trying to piece things together. It slightly annoyed her, but she was trained for this.

Just clear your mind and focus.

"(Y/N)!"

She flinched at the feeling of arms wrapping around her leg.

"You aren't supposed to be out of bed, don't you feel weak?" A girl asked, (Y/n) glaring at her.

"(Y/n) isn't weak. . . h-how are you feeling?" He quickly asked her. It was uncomfortable to state, but she told him anyway. "Pained."

Lloyd immediately let go, frowning slightly. "O-Okay, I can go get something to help for that, Zane has some pills for that, stay here, I'll be back." And he ran off.

"He really does care about you, he didn't want to leave your side at all when you were unconscious, but you know, it'd be a little to traumatizing to see you in that state." The girl said.

(Y/n) looked behind the girl, seeing the ninja walk towards them.

"I am glad to see that you are better." (Y/n) looked at the white ninja in confusion. "Though, I would advise not to walk around alone."

The girl in red nodded, smiling at her. "Yeah, I can help you around until you're fully better." She said, interlocking her arms with (Y/n).

She lightly froze, unsure of what to do with the sudden contact.

"I got the pills!" Lloyd yelled, giving a bottle to the girl. (Y/n) looked over the bottle, reading its instructions.

"Aw, isn't that cute? Little Garmadon is taking care of his minion." The red ninja said sarcastically, getting a harsh jab to the side by the black ninja. "So, um-" "Where are my clothes?" She asked, not bothering to look up from the bottle.

"What do you mean? You have clothes on right now." Lloyd said, looking up at the girl. "These are not mine." "We put them to wash, it smelt really bad, girl." The red dressed girl said, still clinging to her arm.

She was glad that her cloak remained undamaged, or at least was still within the area. "I want the cloak." She demanded. "It'll be wet-" "Now."

The water girl put her hands up, backing away to retrieve the item she wanted.

"Don't be all bossy at her!" The red ninja hissed, Lloyd glaring. "Don't you get all screamy... prick!" He yelled, the other ninja laughing at the unsuspecting language.

"Okay, got your cloak." The girl said, handing her the black soaked mess. (Y/n) gently took it from her, twisting the clothing to get the water out. "You could have been more helpful and got the water out." She told her, the water girl glaring as she put her hands on her hips. "What did you want me to do, magically float the water out?"

(Y/n) looked at her dumbfoundedly, not bothering to answer her. "Where would you like to go now mas... where do you want to go?" She repeated, the boy giving a small frown. "You need rest, though." He muttered.

"Would you like to ride the elemental dragon again?" He didn't need much convincing after that statement, as he was getting ready.

"Sensei wanted to keep her here, right?" The blue ninja asked. "It would be unwise to travel in your state, several accidents may occur."

(Y/n) stayed ignoring them, putting the pills in the gi and wearing her cloak. She felt a lot more secure with it on.

"Okay! I'm ready!" Lloyd states, jumping off the ship that was hundreds of feet in the air. The ninja group all watched in horror as (Y/n) followed soon after.

___

"So this is the infamous ninjago village?" (Y/n) questioned, looking at all the tall buildings. "It's Ninjago City, and isn't it cool, I heard everyone wants to come here, but it's hard to get a place to live."

Lloyd turned back to look at her, giving a forced smile. "My dad is going to take over this place one day, with me as it's next ruler."

She ignored his soured mood, prompting to look at the buildings instead. They were extremely different from the village housing. For one, they were a lot larger and made of glass?

Did someone tell her buildings were made of glass? That phrase sounded familiar.

"(Y/n)! Look!" Lloyd pointed at a dojo, going inside. She followed after him, slightly annoyed at his energetic behavior.

"Aw man, I thought there would be more fighting stuff." He pouted sadly.

She was busy looking at the trophies, slightly impressed by the amount. They were made of plastic though, which wasn't a material that trophies would be made of. Then again, this realm did have so many things strange to it.

"I see you find yourself awe struck at my trophies, that one there you're holding, was won battling against thirty people." A man in a brown gi walked in.

(Y/n) eyes widened, slightly impressed before shaking her head. "Thirty people all on your own is quite the accomplishment." She compliments, Lloyd crossing his arms.

"Of course, that is but a fraction of what I can do, and with the right amount of training, I'm sure your son will be able to reach my level."

(Y/n) cringed, not exactly wanting that. "That is a kind offer but-" "I'm not gonna train with a phony!" Lloyd interrupted, stomping his way out.

"Forgive him, he tends to resort to tantrums when something irritates him." She quickly adds, not trying to make enemies in unknown territory. "Ah, well, it's alright, I'm sure he has a reasonable excuse." He says, (Y/n) awkwardly nodding. "Okay, well, I should go to him." She mumbled, walking out of the dojo.

"He's a faker." Lloyd hissed out as soon as she returned to him. "I don't want to learn anything from him."

"There is no need to." (Y/n) reassured, relieved of his opinion. "Is there another building that catches your eye?" She asked, the boy immediately pulling her into another building.

"Awe! Books?" He complained, looking through each story.

(Y/n) did the same, picking one from the shelf and skimming it. She was surprised to see they had pictures on every page. The way she was supposed to read it was slightly confusing, but she got the hang of it.

It was a rather dramatic story that she got bored of quickly, though the child was having much more fun than she was. "(Y/n)! Look!" He showed her a more thinner book than hers, pictures that had more fights than hers.

"Can I keep it?" He questioned, hopping in place. "I am not in control of you, do what you like." She replied.

They began to walk out with the items they both held but were stopped. "You have to pay for that!" A man yelled, Lloyd giving a pouty face. "But we don't have any money."

(Y/n) patted the gi.

Aside from the bottle of pills in them, she felt something small and circular. She dug them out, placing it over the counter. "Is this to your satisfaction?" She questioned, getting a nod from the man.

They left the building, Lloyd happily looking at the paper book. "When we get back to the bounty, I want you to read this to me."

The girl paused, confused by his statement. "I had assumed we would continue traveling alone." She said nervously. "My uncle can take care of us, where else would we go otherwise?"

That was true, but she was unwilling to stay somewhere with a constant threat. "I could find us a place in this village, I'm sure it is not that difficult to find something-" "I want to be with my uncle." His demand was firm, (Y/n) sighing in defeat. "It will take some time before I find the ship."

The child paused, giving a small frown. "You didn't get to pick a place to go to yet, do you want to go somewhere?" He questioned.

She didn't know why, but flowers came to mind. A building that sold flowers was a silly thought, there would be no point in selling flowers that you could pick from the ground anyway.

"It is fine, if you are done, we can take our leave." She says.

Lloyd nodded, pausing as he looked towards an alley way. He pulled (Y/n) down to his level, pointing. "(Y/n), I think I saw a Serpentine go there." He whispers to her.

"What would you like me to do about it?" She questioned, the boy pondering her question for a bit. "Let's go investigate!" He exclaimed, (Y/n) walking in the direction he pointed to.

The serpent went into a hole, covering it back up with a metal lid.

"We just missed him!" Lloyd complained. The girl said nothing, just waiting for his next command. "Hmm, should we follow him down?" He asked, (Y/n) shrugging. "If we were to follow him, it'd be best we ambush him to understand what we are walking into." She muttered, Lloyd nodding his head.

"Yeah, let's do that then."

While attempting to lift the lid, (Y/n) walked over, kicking it off with ease. She jumped down into the hole, Lloyd following soon after.

(Y/n) stepped to the side as Lloyd landed on his face.

"Urgh... I'm okay." He groaned out, pushing himself up. "Let's go!"

The two walked through the sewer, (Y/n) tracking the serpent Lloyd had seen. "I thought the Serpentine would get tired of being underground, but I guess not." The child thought aloud.

"It's in their nature to want to burrow, makes sense the hideout would be underground." The girl thought aloud.

"(Y/n), there he is." The child whispered, hiding himself behind (Y/n). "Would you like me to apprehend him?" She asked, trying to figure out what type of serpent it was. "Uh- um maybe, yes- yeah, take him down."

The girl lifted the hood over her head, running full speed at the serpent. Before he could fully turn to face her, she had him knocked down.

"Yes! Take that snake!" Lloyd hissed.

(Y/n) lifted the snake up, holding his arms behind his back.

"Oh, it's the woman's favored humans." The serpent stated. "Eh? What are you talking about?" The child questioned.

"Are you speaking about Edna?" (Y/n) asked, excitement laced in her tone. It felt as if she hadn't seen them in a long while. Though, that might be because of the small coma she had.

"We're not here to talk about her, we're here to ask what you're doing here?" Lloyd said in an annoyed tone.

"Oh, the Anacondrai serpent brought all the tribes together to hear his little speech." The Fangpyre answered. "Pythor?!"  lloyd yelled out in rage. "Yes, I believe that was his name."

"(Y/n)! We have to stop him, he freed the rest of the Serpentine, and now he's trying to unite them all."

The girl let go of the serpent, deeming him a non-threat. She would need to figure out how to delay the unity of the tribes.

"Hm, let's follow him to the meeting, we'll see what we can do then." "My name is Snappa by the way." (Y/n) looked over to him, giving a light shrug. "I did not ask."

___

"Friends, enemies, and enemies who pretend to be friends." Pythor started, the tribes all laughing at his joke. "I welcome you!"

Lloyd only rolled his eyes at the speech. The two were hidden behind some fallen debris, (Y/n) on high alert, given that their spot wasn't a good one.

"For years, our tribes have been at war with one another, fighting over such trivial things.  But such pettiness has cost us our freedom."

"Maybe if they weren't such bad people, we wouldn't have needed to send them underground." The child mocked, holding bitterness over the Anacondrai.

"Let us forgive our ancestors longtime fueds and unite to take vengeance on those who imprisoned us underground!"

Roars of agreement were heard, (Y/n) slightly getting anxious. She didn't know what to do to stop them. Pulling at the collar of her cloak to relieve the stress, she flinched hearing familiar voices.

"It's too bad the Hypnobrai will find a way to screw it up!"

"I'm not trusssting someone that drinksss their own venom."

"The Constrictai can't keep up with their dirt for brain heads."

That caused the peace to break, the tribes now all fighting with one another. Tails rattling, ground shaking, spitting venom.

It was astonishing how a few comments would lead to this.

"Look! A pink ninja."

"Pink?" Lloyd questioned.

Peaking over the rubble, they do see the pink ninja, swing from a rope to kick off Scales and the Anacondrai.

The ninja disappears for a moment before reappearing with three of the old man's students.

"Oh, I see." (Y/n) mumbled, putting two and two together.

"(Y/n), we have to catch up with them or we'll get left behind!"

The girl picked up the child, coming out from the rubble. She used the Serpentine as platform's, jumping on their heads to get the momentum to reach where the ninja were.

When she reached them, the pink ninja used his element to ice the walls. Using his shurikens, he made a vechile.

(Y/n) threw the child onto the bike, startling the ninja.

"When did you get here?" The blue one questioned. "You're working with the Serpentine, aren't you?!" The red one hissed.

She only hopped onto the bike, prompting the remaining three to get on.

___

Once making it back onto the bounty, the accusations continued.

"I shouldn't be the only one finding it weird that she was there, she's definitely plotting something." The red ninja stated.

"She didn't do anything wrong, we were there trying to stop them!" The child defended. "The grownups are talking here, this has nothing to do with you." Lloyd pouted, crossing his arms.

"First of all, Kai, yeah, you are the only one bothered by this." The water girl started. "Second, why would she do anything for the snake that put her in a coma that almost killed her."

(Y/n) shook her head a bit. "I'm not one to hold petty grudges over something so small." She said. "Even if I did, if there was anything beneficial to come out of an alliance, then I would take it."

"(Y/n), you're not helping your case." Lloyd whined out, pulling at her cloak with annoyance.

"So, are you or are you not with the Serpentine?" The earth ninja asked.

"That's depends on your definition of what 'with the Serpentine' is."

"Again, not helping."

"Now now, no more arguing." The old Sensei said. "The tribes did not unite, the six of you made it out safely, that's all that matter, now eat."

(Y/n) glared at the master, getting up and leaving. Lloyd followed after, leading the way to the room he slept in.

"The ninja are so mean to you, you're such a good person but they just don't wanna see it." He complained. "I bet they're just jealous, because you're better at being a ninja then they are."

He opened the door to his room, jumping onto his bed and getting comfortable. "Yeah, they're just jealous." He said, with more emphasis.

(Y/n) would have already forgotten the events that just happened had he not continuously brought it up. She sat beside the bed, leaning in a comfortable enough position.

She wasn't really used to the moon and sun cycles. Her eyes would be closed for a long while only to open them, and the sun has yet to rise. It made her wonder if the 'nights' in the underworld were extremely short or if they just didn't let her sleep.

The remainder of the night, she only thought to herself. How could she convince the child to leave his uncle's home? She would also have to find a way to take the golden weapons without having to hold them. There is also the growing Serpentine problem.

But all of that could wait till the sun rises. She's sure she could figure everything out on time.
