I woke up groggy, to be met with the worried eyes of Cream.

"I-Im so glad your awake! You suddenly started thrashing around, like you wanted to wake up. You were so cold Steven! I gave you more gem suppressors in your body, and that seemed to do the trick. It was so weird, as soon as it looked like you were waking up for good, you body temperature returned to normal, do you mind if I study this latfeer? It really was fascinating!" Before she could keep speaking, I burst into tears, remembering the gems.

"Oh, oh Steven! Come here!" Cream pulled me in for a hug, "Did you remember?"

"Yes! I-I used my mom's powers to switch bodies with one of the gems unknowingly, and as soon as I remembered them it was too late to tell them where I was!" I cried as I returned the hug.

"You remembered without time.." She stated as she hugged me back sadly as I gasped. This, this was Sapphires Vision. Cream was saying that I remembered without time. At the new knowledge of this I just continued to cry harder. Cream held me in her arms until I managed to calm down enough to talk. I hugged Gerald to my chest as she got up and got to working on re-fueling the oxygen plant.

"I-I want to go home." I spoke up in a small voice.

"I know sweetie, and I'm working on that, but it's going to be hard. I don't think any of the Crystal Gems remember me, so that's challange 1, and challange 2 is actually sneaking a human out of here without getting demoted ad or shattered." She said the word as if it was no big deal, but I saw her shudder from across the room. She was trying to be strong, for me.

"Wha-what about the ship? The Gems are still here, r-right?"

Cream paused for a moment, seemingly pondering our options. Then she spoke, "Yes and no. They are still here, but the difficulty of getting you out of here without Holly finding out can be easily compared to the difficulty of you ever being born in the first place. They're here, but at the same time, on a different planet."

"So it's hopeless?"

She turned to look at me, smiling. "Why of course not! You were born!"

SG7 POV

I headed back from the Zoo, a satisfied look on my face, followed by a grimace when I remembered what I had been assigned. I was following closely behind Holly Blue, my superior in the field I was assigned, as she rambled on and on. Man, this gem really got on my nerves sometimes. I would like nothing more than to shatter her one day, but that would have to wait. There were more pressing matters at hand now. I slowly snapped out of my thoughts, and was welcomed into reality again with even more rambling. Great.

"TWO DIAMONDS! I can't believe it, can you believe it? Oh, well of course you can't. Only a Sapphire would have foresaw something of that importance."

"Yes Holly Blue, it truly was an honor."

"I never expected to see Yellow Diamond in person. What a commanding presence. You can just feel strength and confidence radiating from her. Don't misunderstand me, of course. I'll always be in Blue's confidence, but if I had been made for Yellow, you wouldn't see me complaining. I do hope they appreciate all my hard work to preserve the Pink Diamond legacy. It would really make it worth being stationed here with these sorry excuses for Gems-" She turned to look back at me before continuing- "Of course not you Cut-SG7! You, you are truly a magnificent. Be expecting a promotion soon, because of you, the diamonds finally believe me!"

"Believe you about what, If I may enquire?" I asked grinning slightly. I already knew the answer.

"Amethysts and their memories. They finally believe what I have told them. That Rose Quartz lives, and she's right where they want her."
