Too many secrets

-Masuku's P.O.V.-

Friends aren't supposed to keep secrets. That's what all the children books say. That friends are always truthful. That a good friend tells you everything. But that's not exactly true. Yes, a good friend tells you a lot. They can tell you everything if they want, but not telling you everything doesn't make them a BAD friend. A lot of the time, someone doesn't tell you something cuz it's personal, they shouldn't have to tell you that to be a GOOD friend. A lot of the time, they don't tell you because they don't think you would care. And then you end up caring. Friends are amazing, but amazingly hard to keep. Friendship is like a cup made of glass. Drop it, and the whole thing will shatter. Sometimes, you can glue it back together. And sometimes, you can't. Glass is hard to glue back together, but it is more beautiful and perfect than clay. So never drop a friendship. This is why it is easier to have multiple people accounting for each other. Everyone holds a tray with one big friendship glass. Together, the glass will never break. That is how Kiri, Kachan, Pika, and I worked together.

"Masuku!" Kirishima ran up to me. It was Monday, and I was walking to UA. "Yes?" I asked. "I hope we can still be normal friends?" He asked. I rolled my eyes. "Of course, Kiri." Bakugo stalked towards us. "Hey nerds." He said grumpily. We both grinned at him. "Heeeeyyy!!! I have good news!" Pika said, running towards us and waving his hands around the air. He slowed down and caught his breath. Then straightened his back. A big grin was on his face. "I asked Jiro on a date...and she excepted!" He said excitedly. His eyes glinted in the sunlight.
K-"Nice dude."
B- "So what nerd?"
M-"Cool."

"There they are!" Uraraka's soft voice called. She was with Iida and Deku. And her arm was up in the air. A single finger pointing at us. Iida picked up Deku and Uraraka and ran towards us. He slowed down, and put his friends down. "What do you want nerds?" Bakugo growled, stepping in front of the rest of us. "We wanted to know if you would like to be competitive on a friendly rivalry against us." "Who is us?" Bakugo asked. Uraraka stepped forward. "The DekuSquad. So me, Tsu, Iida, and Deku!" She said excitedly. Bakugo turned and looked at us. "The DekuSquad vs the BakuSquad? Okay, get prepared to be crushed." He said, and we all looked at our new rival group with confidence gleaming in our eyes. They looked at us with confidence as well. "May the best man win." Iida said. I coughed. "Excuse you." I said. "Sorry, best person. Squad???" Bakugo rolled his eyes. "The Champions vs the Losing Nerds is more like it." He said. Kiri quietly apologized for Bakugo's attitude. "I HEARD THAT ROCKHEAD!" Bakugo shouted. I gently grabbed Kiri's arm and we all walked into the school.

-After school-

"Hey we should go to Masuku's place next!" Kamanari suggested. The other two boys agreed. "Uhm...I uh..." I trailed off. "What is it?" Bakugo asked. "Wellllllllll..." I stalled. Kiri looked at me in concern. "Yes Masuku?" He asked. "Ihavesomefamilyproblemsssssoooo..." I blurted. "Oh." Kamanari said. "Then let's go to my place this weekend! Agreed?" Kamanari asked. "As long as you don't have pictures of not well dressed women." Kiri said. "IM NOT THAT PERVERTED!" He shouted. "Debatable." I said in a teasing manner. He glared at me. "Welp. Imma go home." I said. The boys nodded and I headed home. Apparently Kamanari couldn't walk with me today because of a date he planned with Jiro. Which was perfectly fine. Because...on Monday's, Wednesday's, and unless I have something planned, the weekends...I go to my REAL dad's house. The one that is truly my dad...the one my mom doesn't know I'm still in contact with. The one that I actually call dad.

-At an alleyway.-

"Dad? Dad!!!! Daaaaaad! Where are you?" I asked the silent alleyway. "Oh hi Masuku." A voice said. "Dad? Hellloooooooooo???" "It's time you finally meet the group." His voice echoed through the chilly alleyway. I shivered.

"Oh there you are." I said, approaching him.

"Hey sweetie."
