"Azure." A broad voice made a silver-and-black tabby she-cat lift her head from her paws. "What is it Dad?" She said as she rose to her paws, shaking out her fur, she gazed at her father as he faced away from her. "Wake up your brothers, I have to tell you all some news." He said rather strangely, Azure could tell that he was off somehow, his voice was strangely flat and without emotion or any expression within his empty words. Azure nodded before turning around and nudging her two twin brothers who were cuddled with each other. "Silver, Jet, wake up. Dad wants us all awake." She said as Silver lifted his head to her with sleepy yellow eyes. "Huh?" He mewed as Azure smiled softly. "Come on." She encouraged more as a Silver finally rose to his paws along with Jet following, he was half asleep, she could tell, but she licked him across his face as he jerked back and pouted. Azure chuckled lightly before their father's voice broke in. "Azure, Silver, Jet, I've decided that I will be taking you to my laboratory. You'll be experimented on, but, it won't hurt, and it's only for a few days or so." He said as his white eyes gazed into each of his children's eyes. Azure tilted her head. "What for?" She questioned as their father blinked once before responding. "Somethings that you wouldn't understand." He said as Silver and Jet smiled and let out excited mews. "I can't wait!" Jet exclaimed as he bounced around while a Silver joined him, Azure glanced down at them as she turned her white gaze back to her father. "When will we be leaving? And will Silver and Jet be hurt?" Azure said as her last sentence, she flattened her ears against her head. She was defensive of her two brothers and loved them with her heart and soul. She couldn't bare the thought of them getting hurt. "We will be leaving tomorrow morning or so. And no, they'll be fine." He said reassuringly as Azure smiled and let out a purr. "Alright." She said as she turned to her twin brothers and pawed at each of their heads as they tackled her.

The day had gone by quick as night approached and soon, dawn came. "We're leaving." Azure heard her father call as she nudged her brothers to their father who was already waiting at the entrance to their home. Their father had told them to keep hold of him as they obeyed and with that, they teleported to their father's laboratory instantly. "Woah!" Silver gasped in awe of their father's powers. "Ghost, you're finally here." One of the scientists said as they approached their father. Azure gazed up at them as she curled her tail defensively around her two brothers who had too seen the other approaching and was hiding beneath their older sister. "I suppose this is Azure, Silver and Jet?" He said to Ghost who nodded. "Alright, let's start right away, we don't have time to waste." The other scientist said as three other scientists came up from behind Azure and her brothers and one swiped Azure into the air while the other two grabbed Silver and Jet rather harshly. "Hey! Wait!" Azure called out as she watched her brothers be pulled apart from each other, letting out cries of fears as Azure watched helplessly. Azure clenched down on her teeth before struggling to free herself and as the cat holding her glared at her, she glared back hatefully and bit down on his paw which held her and he released her with a growl of pain. Azure sprang to her paws and sprinted after her two brothers as they wriggled in pain from the scientists grips, she saw others charging at her so she flew past them and avoided their paws as they struggled to grab her. Azure felt relief spill over her as she was close to silver and leaped up into the air and was headed for the cat's back when she stopped in midair. Azure gasped as she couldn't move, her body had froze and around her glowed a faint white as she was pulled back against her will back towards the other scientists. Azure then passed her father who was holding up his paw, his white eyes were glowing. When she moved, his paw would and Azure finally found out what he was doing. "Dad! What are you doing?! I have to get to Silver and Jet!" Azure yowled out to her dad but he gave no expression and continued pushing her back until she saw his eyes return back to normal and he put his paw down. She fell into the paws of three scientists as they held her tightly within their grasps. "Augh!" Azure felt pain sear through her body as they held her harshly and she felt as if their claws were digging into her skin and tearing her fur out. She struggled but it only made the pain worse as she was being taken away from her brothers. She gave up when she was taken far away from her brothers and deep underground. Azure looked around and instead of the laboratory she had seen earlier just before their separation, she saw dark, wet cave-like walls. Her eyes widened as her white pupils flicked from left to right as she was soon taken to a chamber. Azure shook as fear crawled up her spine, she didn't know this place and it was so dark, she could barely see. They came to a door and they opened it, many clicks sounded as she guessed they were unlocking it. Once the thick door opened, she gazed into it and saw nothing but a bed, a sink, the basic stuff. Azure only got a glimpse of it before the cats holding her pulled her back once before releasing her and tossing her into the chamber. Azure hit the solid ground and was dazed for a moment, but that was enough time for the scientists to close and lock the door. Azure sprang and ran towards the door as she banged on it, making it echo. "Let me out! Let me out!" She repeated but no reply came back. Later, she had given up on trying to get free as she laid down on the bed, her eyes dark with worry and emptiness as she gazed at the floor and the walls. What will happen now? She asked herself as no answer came to her mind as she closed her white eyes. Everything went dark as she fell into an exhausted slumber, her flank rising and falling softly as she slept silently in her chamber...
