Chapter 2
The next few days had passed rather quickly. Azure had been given the substance by her father each day and it was excruciating to go through. Though, after maybe five days, she got to see her brothers for the first time ever since they were pulled apart. To her dismay, they got to stay together while she stayed in the underground test chambers. But she was happy that her brothers were safe and although they were scared themselves of the place their sister was staying, she encouraged them to be brave, no matter what. Silver and Jet had listened and as they left to go back up, she felt emptiness carve into her heart once more as she felt like they were her only light in this dark imprissonment. But, she knew they couldn't stay down here, she didn't want them to suffer the same treatment she was going through. It was the tenth day she was down here, and she knew something else was going to happen because she could feel it in her gut. Azure was lying on her bed as she faced away from the door and everything else. Her ears twitched as she heard the locks click before the loud creaking of the door opening. Azure turned to see her dad once more. She let out and irritated sigh as she lashed her tail once. "I suppose that you're—" Azure was cut off as Ghost grabbed her arm and slammed it down in the bed, he then strapped her down to the bed as he turned to the desk and as Azure struggled, her eyes widened as she saw what her dad was holding. Instead of the typical light blue swirling substance, it was a glowing red. "W-what's that?!" Azure asked her father as he ignored her, his face showed no emotion. "Don't mind the color. It won't make a difference to you, it's like this because it's much stronger than the previous ones." He said as he approached Azure who wriggled in fear. "I've noticed that the previous ones haven't worked as well and so, I've made a stronger one that will boost it up even more." Azure stared wide-eyed at him as he flicked at the clear container that held the red substance. "Hold still." Ghost said as Azure saw him reach over to turn her head so he could be able to reach the left side of her neck. But she refused and lunged forward and snapped her jaws at his arm. "Keep you muzzle shut or I'll shut it for you." Her father spat as Azure growled. As he reached once more and grabbed hold of her head, she tried to shake him off but he slammed her head into the bed as he hissed. Azure then felt fear rise through her body as she felt the needle pierce her neck. As Ghost grinned as he injected the red liquid within her neck, she felt it rush through her body as she thrashed and let out painful yowls. "Ahh!!" Azure yowled loudly as Ghost quickly injected the rest of it and drew back as she clenched down on her teeth when she didn't yowl and unsheathed her claws as she dug then into the bed as she sliced it easily. "The results will be excellent!" Ghost said as he watched his daughter wriggle on the bed as she tried to free herself from the straps that held her down. Ghost gazed at her as Azure lifted her arms and legs and flailed as she wanted these straps off of her. Soon, the straps gave in and they snapped as Azure became free. Ghost watched as he backed away. She growled as her right eye was still the regular white color but glowed as the left eye glowed a pale light blue. Ghost then saw the danger of this position and so, he restrained his daughter and forced her down back to the bed as he created chains to hold her down. They glowed a pale white as Azure struggled but she couldn't get free from these chains. "You'll calm down soon enough." Her father said as Azure glared at him, her ears were pinned against her head as her fur bristled up. Ghost then let his paw fall as the white chains still kept their place restraining her as he turned away and soon, exited the chamber. Azure struggled and let out yowls here and there as she felt fire burning throughout her entire body.
The next day was when it had all finally died down. Azure was still restrained to the bed as she had fallen asleep due to exhaustion and fatigue. The door opened as light shined onto her closed eyes and made her wake. "Wha?" She said as she blinked away sleep and tried to look away from the light but couldn't as she saw figures come into her chamber. "I'm warning all of you to be on guard." She instantly recognized her dad's words as Azure snapped awake. "What are you doing here again? Why are these other cats here?" Azure demanded as she lashed her tail. Ghost ignored her and held up the same thing he had the earlier day to the other scientists. "This substance will show the Underworld fear. My daughter has great potential and so, I have chosen her for my test subject." The black-and-white tom said as he then turned to Azure who saw him approaching and so, she started to wriggle in an attempt to prevent him from putting the red substance within her once more. Ghost then lifted his other paw as it glowed the same pale white as the chains that still restrained her tightened. Azure grit her teeth as she suffered and felt as if the chains would get any tighter, she would suffocate. As her dad came closer, Azure couldn't move and so, she just hoped the pain would go by fast this time. Ghost then pierced through her skin and gave her more of the substance as it happened again. The moment the red liquid entered her body, she thrashed once more as she howled loudly, Ghost withdrew once again as the smirk on his face grew. Azure saw his smirk and fury made her blood boil. As the watching cats smiled with amazement, Azure felt strength burn within her as she tried to break the chains. Ghost paid no attention to it and was only amazed by the results. Azure then put all of her power to it and so, she shattered the chains that held her down and rose to her paws. As the scientists gasped in horror and terror, Ghost grit his teeth and lifted his paw as he tried to restrain her once again. But Azure saw this coming and so, countered it with her own awakened power as her left eye burst into light blue eyes as light blue markings appeared around her eyes. Her white fur around her neck flared up more than her regular fur as her other white eye glowed brightly as well. Ghost flinched that his power had been countered. As the watching cats let out yowls of fear and started to back away or even run, Azure stood up on the bed as she glowered down at them. "Raaagghhh!" Azure yowled as she leaped off and charged forwards down at her father and the other scientists as they pelted off in all directions. Ghost fled with them too as he was worried that he would get trapped down here with her. Azure chased the cats all the way back up to where this first all began, her left eye blazing with light blue flames as she clenched down onto her teeth and chased the fleeing cats. Ghost was no where to be seen as he had teleported away. Azure clenched down harder on her teeth as she raced past the cats and halfway through them, she teleported. Azure then appeared at where her brothers and her were separated a few days ago. Ghost was there, grinning as sweat came down his face. Azure growled lowly as she charged forward with a yowl of fury. But as she neared her dad, he pulled two cats in front of him as she instantly recognized them. She stopped her attack in midair and skidded to a halt as her eye still blazed, it was Silver and Jet. Her two brothers trembled before her as she gazed at their small eyes which gazed back at her. She saw fear and worry fill their little eyes as the blue fire extinguished and her powers disappeared for now, all that remained was the light blue markings around her eyes. "Silver? Jet?" Azure said as she felt weak overcome her, she collapsed as she gasped for breath. Pain still seared through her body as she collapsed even more and her head slammed into the hard ground as she wriggled in pain. "Dad, what's happening to Azure?!" Silver cried out as tears flowed from his yellow eyes. Jet grit his teeth and tried not to let out terrified shrieks as his green eyes gazed at their older sister in fear. The two twin brothers trembled as Ghost came up to them and curled his tail around the two. "Azure's become a monster. Don't trust her anymore, don't believe in her anymore. Don't love her anymore." Ghost told them as they gazed up at him wide-eyed, disbelief showed in their eyes as they glanced down at their sister who withered on the stone ground. "W-why?" Jet asked as he looked up to their father who only glared down at Azure, but, a smirk was encarved onto his black-and-white face. "Because, she is no longer the sister you knew. She is evil, cold, blood-thirsty, and a killer." Ghost said as Silver and Jet gazed down at her as she curled tighter until her back was in a complete U shape. "Silver! Jet! Don't—" Azure reached out to them with a paw as she tried to speak without letting out yowls of agony. "No! Go away! You're not Azure! You're a monster!" Silver spat as tears came down his face once more, Jet too, had tears pouring down his cheeks as Azure stared at them in disbelief. "Silver?... Jet?..." Azure couldn't believe what she was hearing from her younger brothers, her white pupils were barely visible in her black eyes as she ignored the pain for the moment and everything went blank as the word "monster" echoed throughout her head. Azure was about to speak when pain shot through her body again and she clenched down on her teeth to prevent herself from bursting with agony. She felt as if her entire body, inside and outside, were on fire, intense fire that would melt anything that set paw within it. All the memories of the past, of her and her twin brothers, all vanished as Ghost's face filled her mind other than the word her brother had just called her. As she writhed on the ground, Ghost came forward and used his powers to lift Azure up off from the ground and started walking away back towards the underground test chambers. "If any cat needs me, I'll be down in the test chamber with this, thing. I will no longer come up here as I usually do, so don't expect me to visit you two, my sons." Ghost said as Silver and Jet glared after her, she felt more pain overcome her as she knew that Ghost has persuaded her brothers into hating her. She closed her eyes as pain still flowed throughout her body, but she ignored it and knew that this pain, was no where close to the pain within her heart of hearing her beloved brothers call her a monster. She was now alone...
