One

Reha was sitting on the couch in the hotel room she had rented along with Jafar and Masrur. they had arrived in Balbadd a few days ago and were currently just passing time while waiting for their last travel companion to finally arrive in the city as well. While Reha and Jafar were looking over some documents, Masrur stood around in silence as usual, just watching them work. After a while they heard a commotion outside the room.
"I'll go check what's going on." Jafar placed the scroll down on the table and stood up, before proceeding to leave the room. Masrur seemed to want to check out what was going on as well, so Reha waved him off to go.
"Go and check it out too Masrur, don't worry about me. I'll be fine for the few minutes alone." The red head nodded and followed his friend out the door.
Not too long after, the door opened again, making Reha turn her head to see who entered. it was Jafar and Masrur, but along with them was a third person.
"Sin!" Reha stood up to great the purple haired man, who immediately smiled at her.
"Reha, good to see you!~" he held out his arms happily, ready to hug her. Reha on the other hand stopped in her tracks while walking towards him and looked him up and down.
"Sinbad, what on earth are you wearing?" She pointed out the cloth that was barely covering any of him. Only his shoulders, hips and private parts were covered, the rest of him was on full display. The man, Sinbad, nervously laughed.
"That is a rather long story..." he was cut off by Jafar hitting his head.
"Short version is that all his belongings got stolen on the way here." he said without much emotions, but Reha knew Jafar was annoyed and angry at the moment.
"Everything was stolen...?" she asked back. Jafar just nodded while the girl let out a sigh.
"Sinbad, why are you pure chaos sometimes...? Jafar i'll leave him in your hands for now. I will go and buy some clothes he can wear. Masrur, will you come with me?" Masrur nodded silently and followed Reha out the door while Sinbad whined for her to stay back and save him from Jafars scolding.

That evening Jafar and Masrur had gone out for a drink, leaving Sinbad and Reha alone in the shared room. The two were getting ready for bed as it had been a rather long day.
"You really had to leave me all alone to face Jafars wrath, didn't you?" Sinbad was still slightly pouting that the girl had left him alone to take a scolding. Reha had just taken off the last of her jewelry when she heard him say that and turned around to him.
"You do realize you did deserve it, right?" She stood next to the bed where Sinbad was sitting on. "It was you're idea to get off the ship to 'explore the area' while we were on our way to Balbadd. If you had stayed with us, nothing would have been stolen."
"Alright, I get it! I'm sorry, I really am! I just wanted to have a small adventure again... it's been too long since I last went off on something like that."
"I get it. you miss the thrill of excitement. But you need to remember you have different responsibilities now as a King. I don't get why you sometimes keep forgetting that it's been like this for about ten years now." Reha exhaled to calm herself down a bit after that short rant. She knew it would not do much to talk down like this to Sinbad. "So, what will you do now? You need your metal vessels back at some point, those are important items." Reha placed her hands on her hips while eyeing Sinbad.
"It will work out somehow. You know it always does." Sinbad smiled at her and pulled her closer to hug her, even if at that point his arms were around her legs rather than her torso. "I'll get everything back, don't worry my dear. even my Wedding ring."
"Your metal vessels have priority Sin."
"hmmm... I beg the differ. That ring is just as important to me if not more than the Metal vessels." Sinbad took Rehas left hand into his and played with the simple golden ring she still had on. It was the matching piece to his own that he so stupidly lost. The girl sighed. She touched about his answer but was tired at this moment from the sudden stress today. In the end however, she was also glad Sinbad was back with the group.
"I know you will somehow fix this mess. You always do. Anyway, will you tell me your version on what happened the past few days?" Sinbad looked up to her and saw her smiling at him. He returned the gesture but not before placing a kiss on her hand he was holding.
"Of course. Anything for you. But before that, tomorrow I have to meet with Balbadds king and during that time I have a favor I'd like to ask from you."
"You don't need me at the negotiations?" Sinbad shook his head to Rehas question.
"I don't think so. I'd like for you to spend some time with the kids that helped me in getting here. I invited them to lunch, so it would be nice if you could keep them company until get back with Masrur and Jafar."
"Alright, i can do that. I'd love to meet them myself anyway." Reha placed a kiss on Sinbads head which made him smile much more than before. He then pulled her down on the bed, putting his arm around her to keep her close.
"Well then, i should start up with my storytelling now.~"

on the next morning, Reha went ahead and knocked on the door to the room of the kids. Sinbad, Jafar and Masrur had left a bit earlier, but not before Sinbad gave Reha a short explanation on the kids. A young boy with long, blue, braided hair opened the door and greeted her.
"Hi there! Who are you?" Behind the boy was a red-haired girl.
"My name is Reha. Sinbad said he'd like me to keep you two company until he will meet with you for the promised lunch." Reha smiled at the boy who quickly told her to come into the room for them to sit down together.
"So you and the Mister know each other? Are you here for business with him?" The boy sat down on one of the beds while Reha took a seat on a chair.
"That's right. There have been some problems with trading between Balbadd and Sindria, the country we are from, so we came here to see what was going on." Reha kept the story up Sinbad had told her, that they were just merchants visiting the country for business. She didn't quite understand why Sinbad would not tell these kids he was a king, but in the end, it wasn't a lie either. Their main reason for visiting was to investigate why trading between the two countries had suddenly stopped.
"Ah, if ships in general aren't going out from what we heard, trading ships of course would not leave the harbor either... oh yeah I'm Aladdin by the way, and this is Morgiana!" Aladdin pointed at the red haired girl who nodded to the mention of her name.
"Nice to meet you." Morgiana said looking at Reha.
"It's nice to meet you both too. Sinbad told me a bit about you two, but mainly just that you helped him out when he was stuck out in the wilderness without any of his belongings. So thank you for that. It's not a given that you would help him out after he jumped out in front of you like that..." Reha remembered how Sinbad laughed at this part of the story where he talked to the kids while he had no clothes on.
"Oh yeah, Morg almost went off on him and was ready to punch the Mister when he showed up first." Aladdin laughed recalling the encounter.
"Yes... thank you for not doing that. Even i i agree, he would deserve it." Reha shook her head.
"It's no problem..?" Morgiana said a bit unsure how to react at that moment. "Mister Sinbad did give us an explanation on his situation rather quickly so there was no reason to fight."
"Still, it's good he didn't get into a fight with you. I think we should be heading to the place we booked for lunch now." Reha stood up. "It's not quite lunch time, but we can still have some drinks together before they serve what we ordered this morning for us all."
"Ohh okay! Let's go Morg!" Aladdin linked his arm with Morgiana who gave him a small smile and together they followed Reha out of the hotel.

"Seems like you three are getting along pretty well!" Reha, Aladdin and Morgiana looked up to see Sinbad approach their table together with Jafar and Masrur. It had been quite some time since they had gotten seated, but they had been chatting together all along.
"Welcome back Sin. Did the meeting go well?" Reha asked Sinbad who was now standing next to her.
"It was... productive. I'll tell you about the details later. Right now, i think they are getting ready to bring us our food." He pointed at the staff who started to bring multiple dishes out to them.
"oh wow! This stuff all looks great!" Aladdin happily commented on the food now on the table.
"This is Balbaddds famous Butter baked Eumer Sea Bream. It's best eaten with some vanilla in my oppinion." Sinbad explained. "I thought i'd give you guys some pointers when it comes to the food here and show you some of the countries cuisine."
"That is very nice of you, thank you." Morgiana said looking at Sinbad.
"It's no problem at all. By the way, i haven't introduced my subordinates yet. This here is Jafar," He pointed at the white-haired man sitting across from him. "The red head over there is Masrur." Masrur gave an acknowledging nod towards the group in response. "And well... you already know Reha, as you have been spending the past hours together."
"Yes, she is a very nice lady!" Aladdin said while he smiled at Reha.
"Haha I'm glad to hear you get along with my wife then!" Sinbad laughed happily at this.
"oh, we didn't know she was your wife." Aladdin looked between Reha and Sinbad. The man seemed shocked hearing that.
"What? You had so much time before we came and you didn't tell them that? I'm hurt Reha!" Sinbad placed a hand on his chest, seemingly hurt by that statement. Reha, who had gotten up to pour herself some more tea, rolled her eyes.
"Please, Sinbad, don't make a fuss. It just didn't come up in our conversations. I'm not going to hide from anyone that we are married." before sitting down next to him, she placed a kiss on his cheek. The man blushed slightly before clearing his throat before they continued with the conversation.
"Oh yeah, Morgiana. I'm sure you were at least a bit curious when you saw Masrur first?" Reha said and sat back down in her chair. "You two are both Fanalis. You see the resemblance in your hair and eyes."
"So...it's true." Morgiana eyed Masrur who was doing the same at her. "Uh... hello." She finally said after a few seconds.
"... Hello." The man said back.
"Oh come on, be a bit more cheerfull Masrur. No need to be so polite." Sinbad patted on Masrurs back to give him a push to talk to the girl.
"You're a Fanalis like Morg? cool!" Aladdin jumped up and he pulled Morgiana together with Masrur a few steps away to ask the man lots of questions.
"So? How did the negotiations go?" Reha then asked looking at Sinbad. Her husband sighed annoyed thinking back at the talk.
"The short version is that Balbadd currently can't or doesn't want to reopen trading due to the situation here is. In the end i agreed to help to capture the so called 'Fog troup'. After that, trading should be reinstated, when everything has calmed down."
"Capture the Fog troup?" Reha eyed him, unsure what to think about this. "Sinbad... you don't have your metal vessels at the moment..."
"Thank you! I'm glad i'm not the only one who thinks this promise is not thought through! It will be hard even for you to achieve without your tools!" Jafar jumped into the conversation. Sinbad chuckled at his subordinates reaction.
"I'll figure it out somehow. Like i always do."
"Sinbad you...." Jafar was almost seething at this point, Reha rubbed her forehead in annoyance.
"Sin... I get that you want to keep the damages for us at bay, but you need to be realistic sometimes...." She looked at the man next to her, he was still smiling but it wasn't mocking or anything, just an understanding smile.
"Look, i know what you are thinking, so hear me out. Putting the damages we have aside, I can't just let this city fall into chaos. I owe the former king and Balbadd a lot." Jafar and Reha shared a glance at eachother.
"I get it Sin. King Rashid was a good friend of yours... and mine. He taught us both a lot back in the days." Reha then said. "I don't want to see the city fall into more chaos either."
"It's really sad that Rashid died... But that is the circle of life. I want to help this city and it's people. I can't let the people-" Sinbad was cut off by Jafar spitting out the drink he had just taken a sip from. He was staring at something behind Sinbad and Reha and pointed at it. The couple turned around and saw two huge, blue arms emerging from the little flute Aladdin had in his hands.
"wha- what's going on??" Reha jumped up and took a few steps back from the table.
"Oh, this is Ugo!" Aladdin exclaimed happy. He let go of the flute and a full body came out of seemingly nowhere. It was the body of a giant, all in blue only just missing it's head, which had been replaced by the flute.
"Amazing!" Sinbad stood up and went over to the body, which had sat down on the floor now. "This is certainly a Djin! I can't believe i see one outside of a dungeon like this!" Aladdin watched Sinbad happily inspect the 'Djin'.
"Ugo is a Djin? And you have been in a dungeon yourself?" He asked the man. Sinbad turned to the boy, still smiling.
"Yes, I've been in dungeons before. And from my experience, i conclude that you must also be a Magi Aladdin, am I right?"
"'Also'? Do you know other Magi?" Aladdin seemed a bit confused at this moment.
"Yeah... i know another Magi... Altho it's been a while since i last had some contact with him." Sinbad seemed a bit nervous thinking of the Magi in question.
"Mainly because your relationship with him isn't that good." Reha walked back up to the group after calming down.
"They don't have a good relationship?" Aladdin keept asking.
"Let's just say... they aren't on good or bad terms. It's more like a stalemate i guess?"
"Reha, please stop talking about my relationship with him... That's not really needed, isn't it?" Reha shrugged lightliy at his request, but complied to it.
"Uncle... just who are you exatly?" Aladdin questioned after a short period of silence. Sinbad turned to him, eying the boy while thinking how to answer.
"Well, since you are a Magi, I should tell you more on myself. I am the 'legendary Sinbad'."
Akward silence started up, while Aladdin and Sinbad were looking at eachother.
"Who?" the boy then asked confused.
"W-what? You don't know???" Sinbad was shocked at that reply.
"I may have heard about it before...? Seems a bit familiar... but I don't really know who you mean." Aladdin scrached his head.
"Remember, please! the legendary Sinbad who sailed across the seven seas! An adventures man who established a country and captured multiple dungeons on his own! The master of 7 Djin; the high king of the seven seas! That's who I am! THERE ARE BOOKS ABOUT ME!!"
"Wow! Uncle you are amazing!"
"DON'T CALL ME UNCLE!! And how don't you know this stuff if you are a Magi??" Sinbad felt old when Aladdin called him 'Uncle' and wanted to shut that down as soon as possible.
"Ah... well there are a lot of things I still don't quite understand. I'm still learning a lot of things about myself and the world around me.... But, if you were talking about the "Sinbad's adventure books" then I knwo those! A friend told me about them and told me some stories! I liked them a lot!"
"Glad to hear that kid! Those were acctually written by me!" Sinbad seemed happy again, still going on with the boy. Reha and Jafar both sat down again in the meantime, amused about seeing Sinbad act like a child while talking to Aladdin.
"Oh, could you tell me one thing Sinbad?" Aladdin then asked.
"What is it? If i can give you an answer, I'll gladly do so."
"What are 'Magi' exactly? I want to know more about myslelf so that should be a good start to get some answers."
"Hmmm..." Sinbad thought for a second before giving an answer. "Well, for the main part, Magi have an unlimited supply on Magoi, the energy needed to keep a Djin out in the open like this. For normal people, it's too hard to keep a phisical body up for them. They would dissapear after a short while."
"Oh? But Ugo dissapears after a while of me having him out like this. I get tired and hungry after a while." Aladdin gave back listening to Sinbad.
"So then using that much Magoi just takes up stamina for Magi?" Reha said in thoughts. "I guess, even Magi need to pay with something to use Magoi."
"What's Magoi anyway? Some sort of... energy?"
"Magoi is the energy created by the 'Rukh'. Rukh resides in everything in this world, the sea, the land and in all living beings." Sinbad continued. "Normal people can use a small amount of Magoi from their own body. Magi on the other hand have access to seemingly an unlimited amount on Magoi. Magi can use Magoi from their invironment, unlike anyone else. It's said that magi are loved by the Rukh, and so are allowed to use their energy as they please."
"Wow.... that sounds amazing.." Aladdin was speachless, taking in the information he was just given. Sinbad smiled at Aladdin, giving him a short time to process the information.
"Now Aladdin, may I ask a favour of you?" Aladdin looked up again.
"What is is?"
"There are some problematic times going around here in Balbadd. I have promised to help the city calm down again but... to tell the truth, I currently do not have my metal vessels with me. They are the items that my Djin reside in and without them, I am not at my full power."
"They got stolen from him while he was on his way to Balbadd, before you two picked him up." Jafar continued to explain.
"Jafar, enough of that now!" Sinbad whined. "Anyway, would you lend me your power to fix the situation here and capture the fog troup?"
"Help you capture the fog troup...?" Sinbad and Morgiana both looked at Sinbad a bit dumbfounded.
"Hold on Sin, you can't let a child help you out with something like this!" Reha stepped up and got beween Sinbad and the kids. Jafar got up in Sinbads face as well at this point.
"Reha is right, you can't do this. I won't let you endanger minors Sinbad!"
"Calm down you two, please. I don't think you quite get the situation and why I'm asking him to do this." Sinbad put his hands up in defense, when being confronted by the two. "This has nothing to do with his age. He has more than enough power to defend himself against any bandit that could cross his path, you saw his Djin. As a Magi he has amazing powers he can use. Besides, age should never restrict you doing things. If you recall, I was only 14 when I captured my first dungeon." Neither Jafar nor Reha could say much about that, it was a fact they were both much aware about. Aladdin looked to Morgiana who was standing next to him.
"Morg, what do you think about this?" He asked her. Morgiana turned her head slightly towards him, clearly in thoughts.
"I'd say we do it. Let's help him out." She looked towards the ocean, not to far away from where they were standing. "It's because of those bandits that the ships aren't sailing out to the dark continent at the moment. So if we get rid of them, that problem will be gone too." Morgiana turned back to Aladdin. "Besides, maybe if we help him, he can help us find Alibaba. Sinbad?" Morgiana adressed the man this time. "If we help you with this, will you help us with something else? We are looking for our friend who should be somewhere in this country."
"If i can help you with that, I surely will. I should be able to get the king to help with the search then too." Sinbad promised to the kids. Aladdin and Morgianas face lit up hearing this.
"Okay, it's a deal! Together we shall get rid of the Fog troup!" Aladdin eagerly shook Sinbads hand. The man was just as thrilled as the boy that the partnership had been agreed on.
"Alright then! How about we go and talk about strategy right away?" Sinbad was almost shaking in excitement.
"Sin, first we should finish our meal!" Reha scolded him, her hands on her hips. Sinbad scrached his cheek a bit embarassed.
"You're right, i'm sorry. After eating you can accompany us to our room Aladdin and we'll talk about how we want to proceed with this. Morgiana, you can stay in your room or do what you want in the meantime then." Sinbad went to sit in his chair. Morgiana stared blanks at the back of his head.
"But... I'll want to fight alongside you guys..." she said slightly embarassed. Sinbad just shook his head.
"I know you are a Fanalis, but I'd rather not have to let women fight. So just enjoy your free time-" Sinbad didn't get any further as Morgiana stomped the floor with her foot. Everyone jumped hearing the stone floor crack under her heel. Looking at the girl she was cleary annoyed about what Sinbad was saying to her.
"I will fight with you guys. I want to pay a part in this matter and to get to my goal." Sinbad was frozen in his seat from shock.
"...Just because she is a woman, you should not underestemate a Fanalis Sinbad..." Masrur then said to his boss. There was a few more seconds of extra silence before Reha chuckled a the whole matter. Everyone present looked at her giggling.
"How about we now all just eat? I'm sure by this point, you are all hungry."
"Oh yes! That sounds like a good idea!" Aladdin jumped into his seat. Soon after, the rest of the group followed, the atmosphere lighting up quickly again after that short scare.
