New York, I couldn't believe it! We actually made it and it's beautiful. This where dreams are made and I know I've been saying that for awhile, but it's all I can think of. Those are the only words that fit. Lexi drove to my brother's place, which was really big. Figures, he's a boss in a big law firm. There most successful lawyer I know and his wife is his paralegal. They both met at college and it was love at first sight. They live in a white house in Manhattan, this is the life I want. Happily in love, minus the dog and add two kids and a cat, that's what I want. Lexi and I already talked about. Our son would be named Sterling, daughter will be Mallory and our cat will be Wirt.

Lexi and I brought everything up to my brother's place. They showed us to our room and we began to unpack. Granted, we probably won't be here for long, but it's nice. I walked out of the room to see what my brother's wife was making for dinner.

"Edgar! My brother! How have you been?" My brother questioned happily, fixing his blue and red striped tie. He wore a nice, fancy, black suit with expensive black dress shoes and silver cuff links. He was tall and had short black hair with dark brown eyes.

"Jimmy! I'm pretty good, in New York City after all." I smiled.

He smiled, "Amber isn't making any dinner, I'm taking all of us out."

I was excited, Jimmy has a lot of money and I know he's going to take us to a nice place. Amber is really pretty, she has brown hair with blonde highlights, but it's attractive, brown eyes, she was wearing a black skirt with a button down, sleeveless, blue shirt with black sandals. Jimmy almost loves her as much as I love Lexi.

"Put on someone more flattering, Ed." Jimmy said. He didn't always had a more fancy taste to everything. He was a complete pig in high school. He would leave food in his room for months and it smelled horrible. Also, he was the only one who called me Ed, I was closet to him out of everyone in our family.

I went back into the room, where Lexi was sorting out her clothes, "Lex, Jimmy said I had to wear something more flattering. Do I have anything fancy?"

She smiled and rolled her eyes, going through my clothes. She pulled out black jeans, a white button down shirt and black converse, "Wow, I can't believe you don't own a suit."

I laughed a little under my breath, "Do suits turn you on or something?"

"Well... A little bit."

I dropped everything and ran to Jimmy, "Jimmy!! I need a suit!"

"Yeah, sure, follow me." He was a little thrown off about how hyper I was, but just assumed it was for the dinner.

Jimmy handed me a black suit, white button down shirt and black dress shoes. I looked at it and then back at him, "Seriously? Could I just wear converse?"

He shook his head, "Strict dress code where we're going."

I sighed, "Well, what tie should I wear?" I was looking through his tie drawer. Yes. Tie drawer.

"You are not ready for a tie." It's almost like I was being teased.

I shrugged and got changed, really happy that we're about the same size. I looked in the mirror and might I say, I look good. The girls were still getting ready, it was left for Jimmy and I to talk.

"You never let me read your screenplay, but now you're handing it to a producer?" Jimmy smirked, excited that I was reaching for my goals.

I shrugged, "I wasn't done with it then."

"You know, Edgar, I look up to you. Following your dreams, oblivious of the real world."

"Why?"

"I always wanted to be on Broadway, but obviously never made it to that. That was actually the real reason why I moved here, law school was just a back up."

I looked down, "What happened?"

"I gave up, school became more important, dad died," He replied, "You know, he always hated the arts."

"I did, just never knew that you liked them."

"Well, I only went to school for him."

Right before I could add anything, the door swung right open. Amber and Lexi were ready. Amber looked great, she was wearing a strapless, red dress with ruffles at the bottom, black heels and a gold necklace. When Lexi walked in, my mouth dropped, she looked, well, I'm speechless. A skin tight, cocktail, black dress with black heels, a white blazer, bright red lips and a small black bag. She looked wonderful and way out of my league. I just couldn't believe it was hear, the skinny jean wearing girl, I know.

Jimmy hopped off his bed and snapped his fingers, "Alright, lets go!"
