A few days ago...

Shoma: "So a new weapon and bond were born."

Shoma has arrived to pick up Sakura when he heard the news.

Haley: "This is just a normal thing?"

Lucas: "Only special people can do it. You just ended up with Emma."

A young boy around 10 wearing a navy blue T-shirt with a red star, beige cargo shorts, blue and white, Velcro sneakers, white, shin high socks, curly, brown hair, green eyes, slightly tanned skin, and freckles on his cheeks is watching the bizarre discussion.

Emma: "So you really did die."

Johnny: "Yep, but we came back."

Shoma: "Why don't you two come with me to visit some old friends?"

Sakura: "D-Dad?"

Shoma: "I'll bring you right back."

Emma: "What about Dan?"

Dan: "Huh?"

Shoma: "He'll just come with. Our destination is only a few blocks away."

The girls get into the car.

Dan: "(shyly) Okay..."

Dan gets in.

Lucas: "I know only two of you can hear me, but buckle up!"

As they buckle up, Shoma drives off.

Twenty minutes later...

Shoma: "Nia? Grace?"

The group steps into a shop called Souls and Medicine.

???: "Shoma?"

An old woman with grey hair is currently sitting at the front desk with a male ghost floating by her side.

Lucas: "Been a while Nia, Ethan."

Ethan: "No kidding! We haven't head from you since you and-"

Lucas: "I wouldn't bring that up."

Sakura: "You guys actually know them?"

Dan is sitting outside.

Nia: "So it looks like soul bonding is back in action."

Johnny: "Yes it is."

Haley: "Can you lend us a hand?"

Nia pulls a small box of special bandages out from beneath the counter.

Nia: "We're still trying to replicate Zeke and Camilla's research."

Johnny: "Who and who?"

Shoma: "Old friends."

Emma takes the bandages.

Ethan: "So it looks like we're going to take over for them."

Shoma: "Sorry to put you on the spot."

Nia: "It's fine. Grace and Faith are downstairs."

They notice the entrance to the basement.

Shoma: "I'll get the car running."

Sakura: "O-Okay..."

The two head down into the basement as Shoma starts the car.

???: "Who goes- ouch!"

When the two reach the bottom, a woman bonks her head on an old counter with a ghost floating behind her.

Haley: "Are you Grace and Faith?"

Faith: "Soul bondings?"

Sakura: "Sh-Shoma is my father."

Grace gets back on her feet.

Grace: "You're Sakura, right?"

Emma: "Right on the bullseye."

Haley: "We came here for Zero Fiction sup-"

Grace tosses two, worn out pendants.

Grace: "Still perfecting them, so these are all I've got."

They put them on.

Johnny: "Thanks, and expect to see us more often."

Faith: "Very well then."

The two leave...

Symphony: "... and Love will deal with the girls."
