Meanwhile...

Sakura, Emma, and Dan are currently relaxing in Sakura's living room.

Arin: "(relaxed) This is the life."

Emma: "(relieved) The six of us can finally get a decent break."

Sakura is still uneasy.

Sakura: "(in head) It's too quiet."

Johnny: "(relaxed) I say let it be quiet."

Dan: "Y-Yeah..."

Haley: "Just try and enjoy the moment. Who knows when we'll get a surprise attack from Soldiers."

A knock is heard at the front door.

Sakura: "It's open!"

Terry slides inside.

Terry: "Shoma isn't here?"

Emma: "He had to head out for a while and we just decided to stay here."

Terry: "That's strange. I thought I could hear more voices through the door. I just decided to come by and drop off his stuff."

She sets a small bag by the door as their partners begin to digest the information.

Terry: "Well, tell your dad I said high!"

Sakura: "I will."

Terry leaves.

Johnny: "Wait, could she hear us?!"

They all realize that Terry was probably talking about Johnny, Haley, and Arin.

Arin: "So uh... what does that mean?!"

Haley: "Terry can soul bond! What else?!"

Arin: "I was playing dumb for the sake of dramatic effect!"

Emma: "That doesn't help though. Just because she can doesn't mean she will. We were all lucky when we did."

Dan: "Yeah..."

However...

Terry is currently starting up her car just outside.

Terry: "Hearing more than those three was just plain weird."

She gets the engine going.

Terry: "I should ask Shoma about it later."

She begins to start moving as the sound of the loudest engine imaginable roars closer and closer to her.

Terry: "Hm?"

She looks behind her when she's already halfway into the road to find a bunch of dumbasses charging a large truck forward at top speed.

Terry: "Aw shit!"

She tries to back up to the side, but she's in such an awkward position that it'll take a bit longer than what she has to get back into her original position.

Terry: "I need to get out of-"

She takes off her seat belt when the truck is a mere 6m from impact. 

Terry: "(bracing) Stop!"

The truck smashing straight into her door, causing the glass in her window to lodge itself into her arms and face.

Driver: "(chuckling) Oh shit man. We just hit someone."

Terry: "(in pain) Not funny!"

Passenger: "(chuckling) Just push her out of the way man."

They try using the engine's power to get her out of the way, but the engine begins to go up in smoke.

Dumbasses: "(chuckling) Oh shit man."

Their engine goes up in flames, consuming them and Terry in it's blaze, getting the attention of the heroes.

Arin: "You said it was too quiet!"

They can smell marajuana in the area.

Emma: "We'd better get to Zero Fiction now! I'm not letting my brother intake marajuana smoke!"

Dan: "What's marijuana?"

Johnny: "We'll wait a little longer to tell you that."

Everyone: "Zero Fiction!"

They make the dive to find themselves in the midst of a skirmish.

Haley: "These guys just love to ruin our fun."

Sakura: "I just hope Terry can pull herself out of there."

However...

Terry awakens in the realm, dazed and confused like all others.

Terry: "(confused) What the hell?"

She gets on her feet.

Terry: "Did those idiots kill me?"

She looks down at her hands.

Terry: "What kind of dumbass does that to themselves?"

???: "Stop chasing me! I'm not some cartoon character!"

A young man who appears to be fresh out of high school is being chased by a group of Soldiers.

Terry: "Wh-What are those things?!"

She rushes over to help him.

Terry: "Hold on!"

He notices her.

Young Man: "Stay back and save yourself!"

Half of the Soldiers head for Terry.

Terry: "Too late!"

The two inevitably end up running side by side.

Young Man: "This is the end of both of us! I don't want to end up like these things!"

Terry: "End up like them?"

Young Man: "They turn you into one of them! I've seen it with my own eyes!"

Terry begins to slip.

Terry: "Huh?!"

Terry falls forward, leaving her wide open for capture.

Young Man: "Take my hand!"

Terry grabs his hand, causing a white glow to form.

Young Man: "What's this light?"

The Soldiers back off.

Terry: "They sure don't like it."

The two are taken with the light.

Meanwhile...

Emma and Haley act as a wall for Arin and Dan while Sakura and Johnny do their best to thin their numbers.

Arin: "I really don't like this!"

Haley: "I think that's their goal!"

Dan catches his ball.

Dan: "W-We can't keep this up!"

Johnny: "We've got to! We've literally got no other options!"

However...

Terry painfully awakens in the ruins of her car to the stench of marijuana smoke.

Terry: "(in pain) No wonder why they ran into me at that speed."

???: "Who ran into who?!"

The spirit of the young man sits in the passenger seat.

Terry: "Did we come back?"

Young Man: "You did, but I-"

Time begins to slow down.

Terry: "Are you seeing this?"

Young Man: "I am, but..."

Terry falls into her ass as reality warps.

Young Man: "Who are you?"

Terry: "Terry. And you?"

Cody: "Cody."

Terry finds herself stuck in the middle of the enemy's army.

Cody: "It was fun not dying again while it lasted."

Two chakrams giving off a white light form in Terry's hands.

Terry: "Think we can make it last longer?"

The edges ignite with pure light.

Cody: "How?! Have you ever used chakrams before?!"

Terry throws them, slicing the heads off almost every Soldier around them before she catches them.

Terry: "Now I have."

The heroes notice the sudden drop of enemies.

Johnny: "What the hell was that?!"

Sakura: "Terry! Is that you?!"

Terry: "Sakura?"

Both sides are able to see each other.

Emma: "At least that idea was taken care of."

Cody: "Idea?!"

Arin: "Look, we're going to die... again if we don't kill these bastards before they kill us!"

Terry: "So there were other voices..."

Terry had already thinned their numbers greatly.

Haley: "One more strike and they're toast!"

Terry gets ready to toss again as Dan begins to dribble his ball, Emma readies her fists, and Sakura gears up for one last strike.

Everyone: "We're out of here!"

Sakura and Emma dash forward, Dan tosses his ball, and Terry sends her chakrams flying, killing every last one of them without even blinking.

Arin: "That's what I'm talking about!"

Johnny: "Bullseye!"

Sakura walks up to Terry.

Sakura; "My dad can explain everything."

Cody: "Is your dad the source of all of this?"

Johnny: "He's the reason you're not dead."

Terry: "Shoma?"

They all exit Zero Fiction...
