Two days later in the normal dimension Pure went to the pod room to check on Reese. Once he checked he was done so he called for Victoria, Victoria came and allowed Reese to plug into his new body. He plugged in and booted it up. Pure brought Reese up and he started to wake up.

Reese: -moans-

Pure: Welcome to your new life.

Reese looked at his arms and was half mechanized; the reactor was in his back with a heart pumping him.

Reese: Victoria.

Victoria: Yes, Reese I'm here.

Reese reaches his hand out to Victoria and for the first time he could feel. He backed off slightly and touched her again.

Victoria: That's right, you can feel now.

Pure lets Reese standup and get used to his new weight. He had clothes on from the pod room and he tried to walk forward but he still had a lot to learn.

Pure: Take it easy, one move at a time.

Victoria: I'll take him.

Victoria held up Reese to support him

Pure: Ok, you can get him some better clothes later once he gets used to his new body.

Pure left Reese and Victoria went to their room and Victoria set him down in the bed.

Victoria: How are you feeling?

Reese: Actually, I can feel everything now, this is amazing.

Victoria: Yeah it is amazing; even though we are mechanized our sense of feeling is still there.

Reese: All of this is completely new to me.

Victoria: Yes, it would be for you.

Reese: Can I touch your skin again?

Victoria takes off her armor and shirt.

Victoria: Go ahead.

Reese was touching her skin and he could actually feel the difference in her skin and his. His skin was still fresh but hers was still the same.

Reese: I can feel it.

Victoria was embarrassed.

Reese: Now I know how you feel about this and it is ok, when I am accustomed to my body I am planning to get a tattoo.

Victoria was shocked.

Victoria: Why would you do that to your new body?

Reese: Because I like you and I want to help feel your pain.

Victoria: But a tattoo and this is two completely different things.

Reese: At least it is a start.

Just then Victoria got something over her comm.

Seth: Victoria, have you finished the analysis of all the data that came in?

Victoria: My sub-systems have almost decrypted it, I'm coming to finish it now. Can you send either Chun or Ming to help Reese around?

Seth: I'll check and see if they are available to get Reese going.

Victoria gets up and puts back on her shirt and armor.

Victoria: You can explore more of me later, but for now get used to your body.

They then heard a knock at the door, Victoria opened the door and it was Chun in hybrid mode.

Victoria: Hey Chun, come to take up Reese?

Chun nods and goes to Reese.

Reese: What does he do?

Victoria: He will take most of the weight for you so you can move around. Once you get used to the first set of weight he will adjust and let you get used to all of your weight. Chun, take Reese to the wardrobe so that he can pick his own clothes.

Chun helps Reese on his feet and then Chun wrapped his tails specifically so that Reese could still move. Victoria headed to the main hall while Reese was getting used to his new body and was headed to the wardrobe to get some new clothes. When Victoria got there her systems finished decrypting the data. Everyone else was there waiting for her in the main hall.

Victoria: Ok, everything is decrypted and this is some expensive stuff they ordered, some of this would give red flags.

Jack: How so?

Victoria: The machine to build those Nanomites for one, you need a specific build to do that job.

Rick: That is my department, if they came from the black market or the midnight zone, I'll find out what is going on.

Just then Rick got a message.

Rick: Huh?

Rick checks the message and it was Matchstick, the message wrote.

Matchstick: Safe house 12, ultra urgent, come to now.

Rick: Uh oh.

Pure: What is it?

Rick: It's a coded message and this is not good.

Pure: What does it translate to?

Rick: Translation, come to France, this is really bad and I am not joking around.

Pure: Get going.

Rick grabbed his bike and caught a drone to France, when he got over France he drove his bike out and was on a roof. He looked around and he got a location, he saw Matchstick in a window and used his Wraith Mode to get there, Matchstick saw him coming and closed the blind. Rick came through the building and materialized in front of Matchstick.

Rick: You called?

Matchstick: Thank god you are here; some nasty things are happening in the black market, I barely got out of there alive.

Rick: Whoa, Whoa, what exactly is going on?

Matchstick gives Rick a bag and he opens it, it was full of fingers, teeth and eyeballs.

Rick: My god, this is taking it to the extreme. Know where these go to?

Matchstick: Not going to find them, they burned the bodies after they did this as a warning to others.

Rick: You got anything else for me?

Matchstick: I managed to swipe this off someone before I vamoosed.

Matchstick showed Rick a gold coin.

Rick: A gold coin?

Matchstick: A guy had a pouch full of these and they only gave out a few of them.

Rick: Did you get a photo?

Matchstick: I'll do you one better, I got a tracker and a name, he is a scientist and his name is Rajah, what he was buying was rare samples of extinct animals and some genetic machines.

Rick: Sounds like one of the guys we are looking for.

Matchstick: I need to get off the grid for a while; if things get this heated I need to disappear.

Rick: No point in you sticking around in major cities, you need to come to the fort to stay protected.

Matchstick: No, not there.

Rick: Then take this with you.

Rick took out two boxes and they became two cybernetic snakes.

Matchstick: What are these?

Rick: We call these Medusas.

Medusas are cybernetic snakes that crawl around your body and they protect you from incoming damage better, when there is something wrong around your proximity, they defend and repel any shots and they don't disturb you.

Rick: These will protect you and don't worry, these are air-gapped and will work off of carbon, just keep them on you. Reach out your hands.

Matchstick reached out his hands and the Medusas became to snakes from the boxes went to him under his clothes and were protecting him. Rick under the sink there and took out a set of keys.

Rick: There is a bike in a storage shed nearby that is paid for already. Let me drop you off.

Rick held out his hand and Matchstick grabbed on. Rick went into Wraith Mode and headed to the storage shed, Rick has been training how to use his Wraith Mode for longer periods of time. Once they got to the storage area, Rick went to it and opened his spot. Matchstick gets on the bike and starts it up. Matchstick hands Rick a device to track the scientist.

Rick: Get out of the city and stay off the grid.

Matchstick: You got it.

Rick: Take the back way out, I'll distract anyone that is watching you.

Matchstick and Rick splits up, Rick puts the bag he got from Matchstick in his backpack and the gold coin in his pocket. He goes outside and goes into Wraith Mode to head back to his bike. Once he got there he got back on and called the drone and got in. He saw Matchstick on his way out of the city. He saw some vehicles going after Matchstick so he opened the hatch and had his sniper rifle ready. He was aiming for the engines to stop them, since his sniper rifle is built for distance he could easily knock them out without much problem. Some of them were shooting Matchstick but the Medusas were aware of what was going on and were going towards his back and blocking all of the shots. Once Rick got rid of the people after him he gunned it and went out of the city. Rick went back in the drone and headed back to the fort. When he landed he went to the main hall where everyone was waiting.

Pure: What did you get?

Rick: Nothing good.

Rick took the bag out of his backpack and threw it to Pure. Pure opened it and saw what was inside.

Pure: Well this is unpleasant.

Victoria: What?

Pure threw over the bag to Victoria and she saw what was inside and was going to hurl.

Victoria: I think I am going to hurl!

Pure: Someone really wants us not to find anything.

Rick: Matchstick also found this.

Rick took the coin out of his pocket and threw it to Pure.

Pure: A gold coin?

Vincent: Let me see that.

Pure throws the coin to Vincent.

Vincent: Don't tell me.

Seth: What is it?

Vincent opens a portal to the circle of greed and takes a coin, he brings one out. He takes a look at both of them and they were the same.

Vincent: What is a coin from hell doing up here!?

Xiao: Then that means a demonic force is present.

Pure opens a small portal to Lucifer.

Pure: Hey Lucifer.

Lucifer: Hey Pure, something wrong?

Pure: We have a gold coin here from hell and we are wondering what is up.

Lucifer: Well, whatever it is it is not me, ever since you proved me wrong and I have my daughter I dumped the apocalypse plans in the trash.

Pure: Know who down there would pick them up?

Lucifer: I'll take a look around and get back to you on that, see who has the rest of the coins to work on your end.

Pure: Thanks.

Pure closes the portal.

Pure: See who those belong to and get tracking.

Rick: I got a tracker from Matchstick pointing to a scientist named Rajah. See where he is and hunt him down.

Rick throws the device to Seth.

Seth: I'm on it.

Everyone split up and got to work. Pure gave the bag to Xiao to get some blood, biometric and fingerprints to figure out who they were. Meanwhile, in the medical bay, Zero's eye was ready and the doctor was going to remove the metal plate.

Doctor: Ok, the Nanites say your eye is fully repaired; I am adjusting your eye color to match your other one.

Zero: About that, would it hurt to change it?

Doctor: What for?

Zero: I feel great that my eye is repaired but I'm just asking if I could be odd eyed.

Doctor: Well, it's not the first time I heard that, what's you color pick?

Zero: Can you go red?

Doctor: Take your shade.

The doctor hands Zero the tablet and he picked his shade of red he wanted. Once he finished picking, the doctor told the Nanites to detach the metal piece, after a few minutes the Nanites released the metal piece and it dropped into Zero's lap. The doctor took it and Zero opened his eye and it was the red he wanted.

Doctor: Can you see?

Zero: Yes.

Doctor: Ok, one final check.

The doctor went through a thorough eye exam and his eye responded correctly.

Doctor: You check out, I want to keep you till tomorrow to make sure then you are released from the medical bay.

Zero: Thanks.

The doctor leaves and Zero picks up a mirror, he could actually see his eye red and blue. He got up out of his bed and was going for a walk. He was glad he had his eyesight back but some things still need time to adjust having it back because a Neko came from out of nowhere and both of them tumbled before coming to a stop. The Neko was on top of Zero and she was looking into his odd eyes.

Neko: Ow, hey that hurt!

Zero: Sorry, I just got my sight back.

Neko: Well you should be a little more careful next time.

Zero: Could you retract the claws please, they are starting to get into my skin.

The Neko retracted her claws; the Neko had pink fur, eyes and tail.

Zero: Are you going to get off of me?

Neko: Only if you watch yourself around me.

Zero: I'll watch it...?

Neko: Kyoko.

Zero: Ok Kyoko, I'll stay out of your way.

Kyoko gets up and leaves; Zero gets up and was checking himself for any scratch marks. Meanwhile Kyoko was behind a wall and her face was a little red seeing him with his red and blue eyes. Zero was headed to the cafeteria when he caught Pure headed to his workshop.

Zero: Hey Pure.

Pure: Hey.

Pure sees his red eye.

Pure: Looks like your eye is better.

Zero: Yeah, the doctor took off the metal plate a while ago.

Pure: Let me guess, you asked the doctor to make you odd-eyed because of the Nanites.

Zero: It was a good idea in my head at the time.

Pure: Well, you look good with them like that.

Zero: Thanks, I got to wait a day before I am released from the medical bay.

Pure: Well, we have vacant rooms here and we have notified your parents.

Zero: I'll call them and tell them I'll stay here for a while; I want to meet some of the monsters and machines that came through and meet some of them.

Pure: Go ahead, we got work to do.

Zero heads to the cafeteria where some of the monsters and machines were talking and getting to know one another. Zero goes to a Neko reading an eBook on a tablet, drinking some warm milk and eating some cooked fish.

Zero: Hello.

Neko: Hi.

Zero: Reading something?

Neko: Yeah, I like reading, writing and playing around.

Zero: What is your name?

Neko: My name is Silver.

Silver is a Silver-colored Neko with big glasses and a bell around her neck.

Zero: What are you reading?

Silver: Some things about the world here by an encyclopedia.

Zero: Wow, you must really love reading.

Silver: It's my thing back at home.

Zero: By the way, do you know a Kyoko?

Silver: I would recommend staying out of her way; she is one of the tough ones in our village.

Zero: Yeah, I ran into her by accident and she nearly sank her claws into me.

Silver: Usually she does worse; something must have made her stop.

Zero: I don't know but I'm thankful that she did.

Zero sees Randal's wolf pack.

Zero: I'll let you get back to reading.

Silver: Thanks.

Silver goes back to reading and drinks a little bit of her milk. He goes over to the pack and stoops down. The wolves see him and look at him. One of the wolves comes close and Zero was a little scared. The wolf was smelling Zero and went back to the others. Just then Randal came in.

Randal: They won't attack you because I said so.

Zero turns around and sees Randal.

Randal: They just smelled you to make sure you are peaceful.

Randal held out his hand.

Randal: Randal, Wolf hunter at the fort.

Zero: Zenno, people call me Zero.

Randal sees Zero's odd eyes.

Randal: Nice eyes, you were the one of the patients?

Zero: Yeah, I will be released tomorrow and thinking of staying here for a while and getting to know some of the people here.

Randal: As long as Pure says it is ok, it's alright with me.

One of the wolves came in front of Zero.

Randal: Stretch out your hand.

Zero carefully stretched out his hand and the wolf came under it and allowed Zero to touch him.

Randal: As long as you are nice to everyone, they will be nice to you.

Zero squats down and was petting the wolf.

Zero: I will.

Randal growls a little bit, telling him to stay with Zero.

Randal: He will stick close as a friend.

Zero: So you command these guys?

Randal: I'm an Alpha to them and I trained them to my command.

Zero: That sounds cool.

Randal: Take a walk around with him and get used to the fort, we will be here.

Zero: Thanks.

Randal leaves and Zero sits down with the wolf on him. Zero was happy his eye was fixed and he could have a normal life again but will that normal life stay normal with a demonic threat now present? Who knows?
