Ben POV:

"ELIZA GUESS WHAT!" I screamed running into the apartment. "Eliza?" I said as I walked in and didn't hear anybody. "Carrie?" I said. I walked back to their room and it was completely empty. Oh no no no no no. I pulled out my phone frantically and called her. Straight to voicemail. Great. I ran back to the living room and there was a note on the table.

Ben,

I'm sorry, but I had to move out. It was what was best for both of us. Don't worry, me and Carrie have a nice little apartment to live in. We will be fine. Just forget you ever met us, it's best for everybody.

No! No, she can't have left. She can't have left. This isn't happening. I grabbed my jacket and quickly threw it on. I have to find her.

Eliza POV:

"I hate it here. I hate it here. I hate it here." Carrie said with her arms crossed sitting on the couch.

"Shut the hell up please." I said.

"I want Ben back." She said.

"Listen Carrie, ben has two new girls in his life and their names are Chloe and Allyson. He doesn't have time for us anymore." I said.

"Eliza? Carrie?" A voice asked. Oh shit.

"Carrie, if you want to live to see tomorrow, shut up and get in the closet." I whispered standing up and grabbing her hand. I pulled her behind me into the closet and quietly closed the door behind us.

"Eliza are you here?" Bens voice asked. I heard him dial a number and then heard his voice again. "She's not here....I don't know where she could be....no she can't afford any apartment....Bob we have to find her, I really care about her. I've been crushing on her since I met her, but I didn't know how to tell her. She will never like me back. And this proves it. We will have to keep looking." We heard Ben say. The footsteps started to get further away and soon there were gone. We slowly emerged from the closet, making sure the coast was clear. I looked over at Carrie and her was jaw was dropped and her eyes wide.

"What's that face for?" I asked.

"BEN LIKES YOU." She said.

"No he doesn't." I said.

"HE LITERALLY JUST SAID THAT." She said.

"Yeah but it doesn't matter because he's dating Chloe." I said.

"But if he knew you liked him back-" Carrie started.

"I don't like him back Carrie. And I told you to forget about him!" I said.

"But El he's out there looking for us!" Carrie said.

"He will give up after a couple hours, trust me." I said. "Now, we need to clean this place up." I said.

"This place is hell." Carrie said.

"Well it's where I'm gonna end up anyways so might as well get used to it." I said sitting down on the couch.

"Eliza stop! I hate it here!" Carrie said.

"Carrie shut up already! We are staying here and you can get the fuck over it." I said.

"I fucking hate you!" Carrie screamed and ran to the bedroom. Well kid, so do I.

Ben POV:

"We've been searching all day. Shes nowhere." I said sitting down on the couch.

"She'll show up. I promise." Bob said.

"Hey Ben, ready for our date?" Chloe asked walking in. "Oh, and I have something for Carrie, where is she?"

"Carrie and Eliza are missing." I said.

"What?" She asked.

"They moved out and I can't find them and El won't answer my calls." I said.

"Oh my gosh Ben I am so sorry." Chloe said sitting down.

"What if I never see them again." I said starting to break down into tears. Suddenly there was a loud knocking on the door.

"It's probably Dan. We called him earlier." Bob said and went to answer the door. I buried my face in my hands and just broke down.

"Bob!" I heard a voice say. I picked my head up and Carrie was standing in the doorway hugging Bob.

"Carrie!" I said and ran over and picked her up, squeezing her in a hug. "Where is Eliza?"

"At home." Carrie said. "I ran away from her."

"Carrie! You can't run around NYC all by yourself!" I said.

"Your missing the point that I know where Eliza is!" She said.

"Right! Where did you guys go?" I asked.

"She made me go back to our old home." Carrie explained.

"But I checked there, it was abandoned." I said confused.

"We were hiding in the closet." Carrie explained. Figures. "Eliza told me to forget about you but I couldn't! I missed you! It's hell in our house and I miss living here!" She said.

"Wait you were in the closet?" I asked.

"Yep." She said. "And we heard everything."  Shit.

"We will talk about that later." I said setting her down. "Does Eliza know you left?"

"No." Carrie said.

"Hey Chloe, can we reschedule our date? I need to go find Eliza." I said.

"Yeah. Of course." She said.

"You're the best." I said kissing her on the cheek and then running out, picking Carrie up on my back. "Eliza?" I said crawling in through the window. "I know your here! I have your sister with me!"

"How the hell did you find my sister." Eliza said running into the room.

"She actually found me. She showed up to my apartment." I said.

"Oh you're dead." Eliza said pointing to Carrie.

"El stop it!" I said setting Carrie down. "Carrie, go play in the living room." I said and she ran off. "Why the hell did you move out."

"It was best for all of us." Eliza said.

"Apparently not for Carrie! She hasn't eaten since you moved here! She doesn't have clean water! And I don't have you." I said.

"But Ben-" Eliza started. Well here goes nothing. Before she could finish her sentence I grabbed her hands and pulled her into a kiss. Her body was tense at first but she slowly relaxed and let her body go limp. Her lips were soft against mine and her hands fit perfectly with mine. It felt like the world around us disappeared and it was just us, together. Finally she pulled back and stared into my eyes, breathing heavily.

"Eliza I really like you." I said.

"Ben you have a girlfriend." She said.

"But your the one I want." I said holding her hands.

"I'm sorry but I can't break up you guys." She said.

"Tell me you honestly don't have feelings for me and I will leave you alone. But we could be something Eliza." I said. Please say you love me back.

"I'm sorry Ben, but I can't." She said dropping my hands. My heart felt like it had shattered into a million pieces.

"Ok, I'm sorry for bothering you. And kissing you. You'll never have to hear from me again." I said and turned to start to leave. Please stop me, please stop me. But soon enough, I was walking back into my apartment. It was completely empty and all the lights were off except the one in Elizas bedroom. I walked in and looked around at how abandoned it was. I turned off the light and closed the door behind me, closing one chapter of my life. I'll be fine....I'll be fine. I leaned against the door and broke down into tears. I really thought she liked me back. How the hell could I be so fucking stupid. Of course she doesn't like me back. The hot tears streamed down my face as I clutched my knees to my chest. I could barely breathe between the screams of pain and heartbreak. And now I'm all alone. Just then my phone buzzed and it was Chloe.

Chloe: I'm sorry Ben, but I don't think this is working out. I can tell you have feelings for Eliza. I need somebody who can commit. I'm sorry but I can't continue this.

I chucked my phone down the hallway, making a dent in the wall and shattering my phone. The tears streamed down my face faster, as now my face was completely stained in tears. People in California can probably hear my screams. I feel like somebody is stabbing at my heart right now. Over and over and over again.....
